There was a live not long ago where there was a man who used this die and made an amazing distressed book. I'm pretty sure you joined in the live. I bought the die because of that video. For the Sizzix Scoreboards/ Bigz dies, No. I use an old pink and black BigShot. The Scoreboards are thick sturdy requiring only a set of pads, and cut THICKER materials as she demonstrates. Bigz can cut 3 or 4 pieces of cardstock at a time easily, too. I love them, and while they take up space they are easy to neatly store upright in shoebox type boxes for the regular size and for the long ones requiring extended pads, I store neatly on their sides. I can't say enough about them!
