@@Wally1169 I know, but with the cornerstone you said you probably won't do any forbidden glades, and here you are :D. I thought lowering hostility is always a good thing is it not? I'm still learning the game btw. It is quite deep.
Oh. There are some perks and benefits that give more the higher your Hostility is (i.e. the town I'm currently at). Also, Hostility is only really a problem when it causes people to leave. Up to that point, it's fine. Sort of like Impatience: high Impatience isn't a problem until that last fraction of a point :D
This is 2 weeks old, but does a global recipe limit mean inventory on hand will be set to that amount? Example: I have 30 planks in the warehouse. Production stops. Then I spent 10 planks. Production starts again until the warehouse is back to 30 then stops again? So I always have that limit in reserve?
That one is... I can never remember which. Alt, Shift, Ctrl, one is on Z (I think that's blight), one is on Tab (I think that's rain engines). There might be one more as well. I have a tutorial on Overlays that talks about them all (but it might be missing the rain engine one as that's the newest). I need to update that one yet, if it's needed.
Ok I'm enjoying the videos but I'm not a new player and it's rough watching the series, especially since you're not even half way through the first map and you've already gone through 3 hours. I enjoy the explanation but you advertised this as a Lets Play, not an in depth tutorial that explains almost every tidbit. It's still very concise so I'm not hating on it, but for me, a series that just plays the game and talks about advanced tactics and strategies at an expert level would be far more beneficial and enjoyable instead of feeling like I'm in a classroom :) Still excellent video and well done.
Second town is "normal" speed (for me, at least). I decided to do one slow one because it was right at 1.0, and there was a potential for a load of totally new players, especially considering Game Pass.
Smokehouse is unique because it is one of the only buildings that gives the production and comfort bonus to a single species.
That is true.
You can hover over a building (or a road) and press "shift" to quickly build a copy of it. I always use it for roads and shelters
I do it for a lot of stuff, but I always forget about it for roads...
Enjoying this series. Thanks, deciding whether to buy the game or not right now!
Totally worth it, in my opinion. Glad you're enjoying the series!
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
30:00 In hindsight, the cornerstone that reduces hostility would not have been a bad choice?
Why? I was still at 0 at that point

Yep, exactly. Except sometimes they'll get it up to 32 or 34 or something because of crafts-in-progress.
20:30 what is the command you used to show all buildings and workers inside of them?
Just the Alt key - also Ctrl key shows the recipes, Z shows the blightrot status, and tab shows the rain engines. There might be another one as well
@@Wally1169 thank you
What's the key to show every worker and rearrange them? BTW incredible series, loving how you explain every detail. Keep it up :)
