People like to get onto Danny Dyer’s case but he does handle it well to be fair to him 😂😂 Just takes it without fuss and still has a laugh, I must say I do actually rate him 😂
I have a really deep unironic affection for Danny Dyer, I think he's quite a sensitive guy. I've read that he struggles with attention and anxiety and stuff so he's handling himself very well here. Bless 'im.
Danny Dyer is absolutely brilliant in every panel show he does….. takes everything thrown at him with genuine humour, I love panel shows and every time he’s on the pane you know it’s going to be a great show.
My side hurts. Everyone is hilarious. I’ve always been a fan of Jack and Noel, but after being introduced to Richard late, he is who I watched this clip for.
I love this clip; I’ve seen this episode on TH-cam many times (I’m American). It’s like the nerdy guy straight up bullying the tough guy, who can obviously take a joke so it just makes it so much better. This is really one of the funniest things I’ve seen. I’ve become familiar with British comedians through this show and other panel shows. I’m very thankful for TH-cam because this is more in line with my sense of humor. Some American comedians should realize yelling something doesn’t make it funny.
@@KC_Lake @Stacey Sturgill indeed. I’ve learned so many comedians and personalities from this show, QI, 8/10 Cats/ & Does Countdown, Taskmaster, Mock the Week, House of Games, Pointless Celebrities, etc
Oh yes indeed I have been down the panel show rabbit hole, as well as their stand up. I also really enjoy the sitcoms that I’ve seen. I have favorites, for sure Richard and Noel. My teenage daughter was watching with me and she says, “I love that friendship. I can see that guy wanting to do crazy stuff and party and the other guy being like, we’ll let’s do our homework first.” To which I replied, “They’re grown men, I doubt they have homework, but I get you.”
I didn't even realise people didn't like Danny Dyer but I'm here to throw my hat in the ring and say I also like him, always did; I've quite literally only seen him through panel shows so that may be a part of it. He comes across well on them imo.
Bahaha! I love the discourse on Robin Thicke, it’s just so accurate. I did a glam photoshoot that year, and one of the photogs was trying to get a certain look while I was in full-length formal wear, but was clearly hesitating to say what she was going for. As it was a safe, comfortable, and Robin-Thicke-Free™set, I said, “Oh, don’t worry, just blurt out what you’re thinking, and I’ll give it a shot for you.“ She still rather nervously asked me, “Could you manspread agressisively, but make it fashion?” And it’s my favorite photographer direction of all time. (The resulting photo also got more compliments than any other for years, not even kidding. God bless her.)
This honestly looks like it would have been the event to make producers think he'd be a good guest on british comedy tv. Dude has a certain charm to him.
I like Kristen shock face hearing how they rost, swear and laught from each other "wtf going on here? I thougth all brits are so gentle nice and polite"
I love the look Richard Ayoade gets on his face when he smells blood in the water. When you see him make that face you know something brutally funny is coming.
I am aware that I am but an American, but I do believe that in this segment, the playful mockery that befell poor Danny epitomized the quintessentially British phrase of *'taking the piss'.* Am I somewhat on point, or will it remain an English dialectical staple to forever be misconstrued, similarly to that of my natively colloquial use of the Southern contraction, "y'all"? 😉🤭🤣
@@loading9110 By the way, your comment was so unfunny it doesn't actually come across as you joking. Just looks like you're calling Danny Dyer mentally challenged in the most unpolitically correct way you can.
I don't know why they had Danny Dyer on these comedy shows, on both this & 8 Out Of 10 Cats he proved to be funnier ( with little effort ) than all the comedians & comic actors appearing with him combined. Maybe that's what bothers people like O'Brian, Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding & Ayoade, the fact that they'll never be as funny as someone who isn't a comedian/comic actor. Dyer is *naturally* funny, none of the other people mentioned are, they have to *work* at it & *still* they fail.
When Richard Ayoade bullies you… you’re in trouble!!
