THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING MAN!! There's so much music out there that sounds so sweet and innocent but had either underlying tones that aren't great lyrically or just blatantly worldly/sinful themes. On the other hand, there's very "dark-sounding" or heavy music that is very uplifting and glorifies God lyrically. It is all about the intent behind the music, I wish more people would realize that.

Have paused at 5:23. I do get that kind of reaction sometimes, when I talk about this type of Christian music (which I LOVE). You are absolutely right. I usually ask people, "Who invented music in the first place?" It wasn't the devil. He can only TWIST things and LIE about them. It's the same with people. The devil cannot make a single person. God made the first people, and equipped them to produce other people like them--all made in the image of God. The devil twists and turns some of those lives, but he cannot create the lives in the first place. Therefore, who OWNS the lives? God made each and every one of us. HE created us, and HE knows how to get His love to us. This type of music (that is full of His sound and rhythm) pulls at the hearts of those who have only heard the LIES before. We need MORE such music out there in the big world...not less of it.
As for the newspaper being burned, out on the street (out in the world) at the end, I believe that it's about just that, and just what I've said above, and what you've said. The devil will try to demolish everything that the WORD says. Instead of looking at that in FEAR, though, and letting him get away with it (as in burning our flag, also--think Jason Aldean and that now famous song--think all of the NEW songs--including some raps--that are surfacing over the past few days, as well, that the devil is now trying to burn in panic), we need to rise up and DON those white robes that God has already made for us--the ones that have our names already on them!!! Get ready to SING and DANCE, and REJOICE in the Lord, and don't ever let go of it. Even if the devil does his WORST, and tries to burn things down (as in the Maui fire, and in other things that we've all heard of over the past few years, that are escalating in these very days), he does NOT get to win! GOD WINS...EVERY TIME...EVEN WHEN WE DON'T REALIZE IT RIGHT AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT. PERIOD!
My take on the news paper: in the end, all things of this world will perish, but it’s HE who remains! Also I’ve been thinking about this song and what I take away from hearing it. So many times we think of God and Jesus as the lamb, which is certainly true, but forget he is also the lion. To me this feeds into the power of God, mentions roaring multiple times, and all the powerful miracles! Powerful song indeed!
That is soo true. Ive been reading a book called "God has a wonderful plan for you" by ray comfort and it talks about the "grace"/"happiness" message and that we've focused too much on making people happy and telling people that jesus will make u happy which is true but we're forgetting the repentance you mentioned as well. So far its a great read
Pay attention to the video at the beginning and you can see that the newspaper he is holding is on fire when he throws it to the ground so the newspaper at the end of the video is the same newspaper he was holding that was on fire
