agreed. i use to watch a lot of dayz youtube, i think it was Smoke, but he would get a couple bullets for a gun and say "ok, now we are lethal" and i would think...what? its only a couple bullets. now that im a better player, i realize its all about how you use what you have, now how much you have or how good your stuff is.
ya lol up in the snow area, the good loot area is approx 15000m of travel, most on foot. ppl forget to carry extra shoes or a leather sewing kit so they have to resort to rag shoes if their mains break
Great strategie for Hookr and Mr T goddamn. The flanking while supressed was insane but Injexus did have some choices, like not standing still while being shot at? And also keep a look out in his rear maybe. I know that in the moment we tend to mess up but I feel like some of his mistakes could have been avoided ya know? Other than that, GGs for the duo, you guys overcame your disavantage on weaponry with tactics and ground work, nicely done by the way
the flanking was wild for sure. regarding injexus focusing in one direction...i would do this all the time when i played, and MOST of the time, i was right. only one guy. but sometimes...i was wrong. so was injexus :(
@@modelrailwaynoob This tactic I’m not 100% sure it would work (considering what he knew about the situation not what we know) because he wasn’t sure how much they were nor how close. Personally (and I know that in midst of the fight we ALL make dumb mistakes so I’m not saying it should always be perfect) I would’ve fallen back a couple just to measure the situation and get some better perspective as to how many or how close they’re to me. But I’m a very defensive DayZ player so what I do and what he does doesn’t quite stick on who is right or wrong, all I’m saying is that I would’ve done it differently ya know.
@phenr1r We will never know. What we do know is that when he looked from the right side of that hut, he was shot. When he looked left, he was shot. We can deduce three things from this: staying there was going to mean his death, 2nd, neither shot put him uncon, so they weren't powerful rifles (even if he didn't recognise ise the sounds), which means if he was hit on the run he wouldn't drop and finally, unless he had really cheap headphones, he would have known that he shots were from quite high on the hill, so he did have time and opportunity to run back to his house.
@@modelrailwaynoob very good points my man, very good points indeed. It seems like a sound strategy and I sure would take it if I had my back filled with loot (the fear to lose it would have taken the best of me haha) but in his case, who just left his home to go out, I would’ve gone for their heads. The good part of all this is: his mate absolutely murdered them after this LOL
lol i always loved watching wolves interact when theyre NOT trying to bite someone. they lay down, they sometimes run after each other, or just walk, or do the hunt walk, eat dead players and zeds...its pretty cool to see
low pop isnt a problem on a map this size when there was only three on the server i happened to bump into both who where a team luckily i got out alive
ya just before we opened melkart a couple weeks ago, we were hitting queue every week for 4 weeks in a row. queue is 30, bc the map is half the size as official. itll take time again to repopulate both servers but itll come back as it always does
@@TomatoKingRAW i have never seen more than 12 at once, and they dont stay for that long. usally just 2-6 people on most of the time. Sadly. never seen the server full. been playing on and off for a few weeks now. I know you dont want mods but the codelock mod is highly recomended. because having a strong base with 30 something gates with dial locks is just not doabel. atleast not for me.
@@sebbe617 ya you must have came RIGHT after the second server opened on the weekend of august 22, bc that was the last day we were at full pop according to battlemetrics.com

Great capture and commentary bravo this is what i subbed for
This guy in the base has everything but no shoes 😅

Agreed. His best chance was running right a little and back to his house, well before they got down there

The wolves were paid actors

I try to only build stand-alone base in the woods, no buildings that may contain loot.
Me too. I have hidden barrels with good gear and they are never found (yet)
i like that. i might try that when i start playing again
Got one on Melkart now
Great lessons right there!
great to watch.
WILD
GGs
Dig spots over bases every time I say. Injexus had wolves and dirty burglars lurking. Ruff.
i use to be a huge baser when i played. my last few months playing was no bases at all. just stashes. was SO relieving.
Atleast add codelocks so people dont have to deal with that dial lock bullshit. I like the map and the server, it just has to low pop
