They don't just ween to stop nursing. They also ween to stop the baby from clinging to them 24/7. How Libby does this type of weening is she gets really aggressive with her babies. Once the baby gets to be about three or four months old, Libby stops being aggressive. That's because the baby is no longer clinging to her 24/7.

During the feeding time, they will act or play prank to give u information, so that u know when they need a party , bad or good news for next day n so on... They r very intelligent. Yes, this is a wonderful channel. I appreciate this camera man. He does a fantastic job. He films all the monkeys in the most authentic state possible for Angkor Wat. He walks with Libby at the end of each day as she goes to the Temple to relish in the freedom she so justly deserves.. They all deserve to live as nature intended...

As viewers we need to support him anyway we can.. He is one of the few honest guys out there. He works hard. He gets there first thing so he can give us an authentic version of the monkeys life. I think he leaves and comes back late too when the others have gone home. He walks Libby to the Temple every evening and it still chokes me up whenever I see it. This is where Libby longs to be. Free with the rest of the monkeys to interact without all the crap she puts up with on a daily basis.. His work is priceless. His bike has been trashed and his life has been endangered.. If I could afford it I would hire body guards to protect him, Tara and Socchen.. We need about 10 guys like him there !!

I believe you are right. Libby helped raise Amanda too. Ashley is 22 ? Theresa is 30 and look at her. Given that Ashley isn't as nearly as healthy as Theresa I dt she will make it that far. Something happened when Brady and Rainbow were switched. Libby was Ashley's right hand.. Some people say that it was because the WCPO took Libby away for 2 weeks that she lost her rank. I have thought about it a lot. From what I understand Ashley didn't like Rose . Ashley's owner found (Intothnou) Rose's mother at a breeding farm. She was stolen from Angkor after a few months after Theresa gave birth to her. She had distinguishing scars from a fight and that's how they identified her. They placed Intothnou with friends because they still had Ashley and Ashley wasn't playing nice. Then Intothnou got pregnant with Rose but something happened and Intothnou died. They tried to bring Rose home but Ashley was too mean and they sent her with the friends until they released Rose into the Carbzilla Troop.. I almost wondered if Ashley felt betrayed by Libby for raising Rose's cub.. If you go back you will see that Ashley and Rose have a complicated history.. Libby lost her tail and fought Bonita blindly out of loyalty for Ashley.. You notice that Bonita calls the shots now Ashley has been submitting to Bonita and Thom for over a year. These pigtails have a complicated history.. Libby is always the first one to stand up and fight for any of them. She just launched an attack on Pongo yesterday for chasing Amanda up a tree. But yeah something happened that just turned Ashley on Libby and that's when Kat slid into Libby's spot..

@@Chillinwithspirit I have been watching and trying to figure out what is going on with her ear. In the sunlight you can see hundreds of those little gnats or mosquitoes buzzing around her ear. I wonder if it isn't an infection or if they laid eggs in her ear. Whatever it is it's bugging the hell out of her. If Thom did it she probably wouldn't have an ear. I didn't see him use his teeth on her. He was pushing her out of the way.. Just my opinion of course.. We know that most viewers think Thom is a big boogie man.. I fkn love him. If anyone knows how the bad guys operate in Angkor it's our boy Thom and they can't control him anymore. He is trying to take control of this Troop.. I hope that he succeeds..

Amanda is an abandoned monkey and serial kidnapper, being adopted by Ashley does not give her the same status as a biological offspring. Angela was also taken in by Ashley. Amanda and Libby have a long history of animosity. Libby knows that she van only trust her family with Lilly. The rest will go to Libby just to pick her fur and distract her from Lilly, .whether to get Lilly away of kidnap her. Libby was watching Lilly from afar, how she approaches Amanda may lead to Amanda spiriting her away. All monkey moms knows how to deal with known kidnappers. Lilly is also not safe with Julie who has suddenky taken a persistent interest in Libby and Lilly which is not normal. Good that Rainbow is ever watchful of Lilly whenever Libby is distracted by these monkeys or the VOs

Yes, this is a wonderful channel. I appreciate this camera man. He does a fantastic job. He films all the monkeys in the most authentic state possible for Angkor Wat. He walks with Libby at the end of each day as she goes to the Temple to relish in the freedom she so justly deserves.. They all deserve to live as nature intended...
I totally agree! The hateful comments are uncalled for and totally unnecessary! We should all be grateful that we live in the times we do so we can all enjoy these videos for hundreds and even thousands of miles away. It's amazing. I'm Glad to be living in the times I live! @Yo250653 poor Thor was killed by a male. IMHO that's why Libby is so intent on her baby's learning to follow. Her Thor was a wild man, he would barely listen to Libby, & wouldn't FOLLOW her that often. Which is why he was killed & Libby wasn't there to save him. 😢 but boy, she loved that baby boy. Everyone used to think she was the REAL mother cus of the love she had for him.

Mr. Sam's videos are definitely the best! Very interesting shots and excellent, naturally logical editing always show important interactions of our beloved macaques. I admire and greet the cameraman. Today this awful hum in the background was much less and shorter audible. Is that the squeak of a flashing light bulb on a building?
As viewers we need to support him anyway we can.. He is one of the few honest guys out there. He works hard. He gets there first thing so he can give us an authentic version of the monkeys life. I think he leaves and comes back late too when the others have gone home. He walks Libby to the Temple every evening and it still chokes me up whenever I see it. This is where Libby longs to be. Free with the rest of the monkeys to interact without all the crap she puts up with on a daily basis.. His work is priceless. His bike has been trashed and his life has been endangered.. If I could afford it I would hire body guards to protect him, Tara and Socchen.. We need about 10 guys like him there !!

I truly feel like once Ashley’s gone Amanda won’t have the courage she currently has because when Libby came and grabbed Lilly Amanda looked scared she didn’t fight it and was lip smacking to Libby since Ashley and Bonita weren’t there anymore.

I believe you are right. Libby helped raise Amanda too. Ashley is 22 ? Theresa is 30 and look at her. Given that Ashley isn't as nearly as healthy as Theresa I dt she will make it that far. Something happened when Brady and Rainbow were switched. Libby was Ashley's right hand.. Some people say that it was because the WCPO took Libby away for 2 weeks that she lost her rank. I have thought about it a lot. From what I understand Ashley didn't like Rose . Ashley's owner found (Intothnou) Rose's mother at a breeding farm. She was stolen from Angkor after a few months after Theresa gave birth to her. She had distinguishing scars from a fight and that's how they identified her. They placed Intothnou with friends because they still had Ashley and Ashley wasn't playing nice. Then Intothnou got pregnant with Rose but something happened and Intothnou died. They tried to bring Rose home but Ashley was too mean and they sent her with the friends until they released Rose into the Carbzilla Troop.. I almost wondered if Ashley felt betrayed by Libby for raising Rose's cub.. If you go back you will see that Ashley and Rose have a complicated history.. Libby lost her tail and fought Bonita blindly out of loyalty for Ashley.. You notice that Bonita calls the shots now Ashley has been submitting to Bonita and Thom for over a year. These pigtails have a complicated history.. Libby is always the first one to stand up and fight for any of them. She just launched an attack on Pongo yesterday for chasing Amanda up a tree. But yeah something happened that just turned Ashley on Libby and that's when Kat slid into Libby's spot..

@@stiemybcuz very interesting, I’ve always sensed Ashley doesn’t care for rose, either way Amanda ain’t shit and once Ashley is gone I personally think she won’t have her rank anymore, Libby has always been a beast when it comes to protecting the troop and fighting and yes she jumped in to defend Ashley and then Ashley ended up leaving and Libby was trapped by Bonita which is when her tail was bit and the VOs intervened and I’m glad they did because it wasn’t even Libby’s fight she was hurt more than anyone else, She was helping Ashley out and then Ashley ended up leaving her. I used to love Ashley in the very beginning, but after seeing what she’s done to Libby all these years, I can’t stand her. She’s literally useless, all she does is sit around and eat constantly and never moves around. 🤨

Actually it was Luna who saved Rainbows life! Rainbow and Libby were sleeping in the trees. Rainbow started to free fall from sleeping Libby and Luna caught her mid air!! If no Luna then there would possibly be no Rainbow. They were high up too. It was a remarkable catch!
