I'm too lazy for all that. I just purchased a nice dwarf Alberta Spruce and transferred it to a nice large ceramic pot I'd wrapped in red foil. The little tree was decorated with one strand of multi colored mini lights and some small ornaments. The pot is large enough to accommodate the spruce for several years (they grow slowly). Then, I'll just plant it somewhere. 🎄
Very creative and affordable for your budget conscious decorators. I'd probably add stones or something heavy to the bottom tier so they don't blow away. Thank you for sharing.
According to the Christmas Tree Association an artificial tree used at least four years has a smaller carbon footprint than a real tree cut down every year.
Christmas trees have a negative carbon footprint throughout their lives as they absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store it within the tree itself. If you later cut down that tree and burn it you release all of that carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere thus making it effectively carbon neutral. But we must consider that Christmas trees grow about 1 ft per year, so for each 7 ft tree sitting in someone's living room there are seven other trees in a field somewhere (absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere) waiting for some subsequent year when they will be cut down. The idea that an artificial tree made out of plastic and manufactured in a factory somewhere would have a lower carbon footprint than 7 real trees growing in a field somewhere is crazy. It doesn't matter how long you keep it. There are a lot of advantages to an artificial tree, but environmentalism and reducing your carbon footprint is not one of them.
I lived in a condo before too. They wouldn't allow any decorations in windows facing the street and the association never did any decorations outside. Sad.
Let’s get plastic and spray it with plastic and decorate it with plastic! Mother nature loves it! When you’re finished, stick it in landfill, and do it again next year! Genius 🎉
Putting them on plates to protect them from the weather is still exposing them to standing water when it rains. They are plates, plates are curved and water will collect in the plates 😔 Cute idea but...
When it said -Genius Idea Everyone is Copying, I expected something new, or at least unique. It looked nice, if that's your thing, but was rather basic & definitely not unique or Genius. Ppl have been doing similar ones (or upscaled versions with real greenery, candle carriage lights, wooden & metal ornaments, etc)on and in front of apartment/brownstone/house doors & entryways since there's been ppl in homes with doors😂 Never seen an old cheesy New York Christmas movie where ppl are strolling down a street lined with Brownstones ? Or even cheesier Hallmark movie, where it's every business on the charming Main street ? On both, every entry always has it's own version, but most follow a somewhat traditional triad of wreath/tree/garland +some extra doodads to make it more unique/personalised for them...heck, the Christmas "From our House to Yours", [Decorated Front Stoop] has also been featured on thousands of Greeting Cards over the yrs & is kind of a tv trope too, that have characters clashing over traditional/whimsical/or offbeat styles when decorating front doors & apt interiors for the holidays. So ppl aren't exactly copying you when doing this. *chuckle* You just jumped on a very old bandwagon. You did give them a few ways you can get a similar look on a budget or w/upcycled items & under SOME apt/HOA strictures, so there's that...but IMO, none of the ideas were unique, or cleverly made enough to reach Genius level either. Maybe it's just old hat to me as where I grew up, in Braintree Ma, everyone decorated on & around their front doors for a bunch of holidays & if you had a secondary front entrance, esp if it had a porch area, wide stairs or a vestibule, they'd do more elaborate decorations there. (Though, FYI: if ppl are in a rental/condo/multi-unit bldg of any kind, always check w/landlord or HOA 1st. Many allow door only decorations, less allow door trim or floor decorations, esp in a shared hallway & some jerk Grinches don't allow anything at all)
"Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. (Psalm 119:57-64) ''Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto thee resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)
Stop using spray paint on the greenery. It does NOT look like snow LANDED on it. Use the fake snow and do not move the can around while your spraying like this person does: AS IF you're actually spray painting something. Stand the wreath UP RIGHT and allow the fake snow to actually gently land on it from up above. You're not trying to coat the darn thing with paint
That's tacky and those would be stolen ASAP by the kids in the neighborhood to fight with like lightsabers. Then you have 25 kids in a fake battlefield in my yard taking the pine cones off and throwing them like grenades. This would not fly in my area. I also live in the ghetto and like 4 families decorate lmfao
Brought to you by the dollar tree

Your right, Mother Nature would prefer you cut down real trees… and you wouldn’t throw it out but rather reuse for years to come
I bet you're fun at parties!
Apartment staff gone be upset damaging property.

She said her winters are very cold so any water that gets on a plate will freeze.
Or drill a hole in the plates. Use a glass or diamond drill bit !
Ain’t nobody got time for this!!!!
💯🤍 TALENT 💪🏻✨❤️🔥
Cute!!!!!!

Meehhhh.... looks half done.
Looks great
Nice idea separately, but together, it's way too busy
So someone can probably steal something
Good video. But never hold a nail in your mouth. If accidentally swallowed, you could die. And it has happened. But well done other than that.
Come on now…all this and you pick o it that..geeze.
What is new about this???
Gasto más comprando cosas y empatando que si hubiera pagado un árbol de 5 dollares
The last one was not it

An average decor result. Certainly not "genius."
I think al”average” is being too kind. But we clicked, didn’t we 🤦🏻♀️
Rude
@@T_P_W_ThachoZenjuan I agree!
White flecks on outside sign just looks like bird poo.
That snow spray falls off the evergreens and gets all over everything! Ick! Looks cheap.

your pinecones are so dry sounds like your putting fry's in grease.

Tacky plastic.
Nothing new.
Aw shut it
People don't celebrate Christmas anymore. But that's up to you to decide. Deciding which lantern goes with whatever decoration you have in store.
It looks fantastic.
Well done!
