    Dude, ive been following you for years now, and i know you work HARD. the amount of times you mentioned burning out..gosh man. The fact you keep coming back to it and climbing that hill is really inspiring.
    By the way, your office looks so cozy! Room tour?

      Thanks for always being here man! I really apricate you! Yeah I didn't realize how HARD I made it on myself either haha but it was fun going through all of my notes and realizing just how many times I got back up, tried a daily challenge, got disappointed, and did it all over again. Sometimes within a few weeks of each other haha. But yeah man thank you! Glad I have the chance to be an inspiration and definitely going to take you up on that room tour. lol

    ah man, the struggle I feel you, it's real hard to balance all these for some of us and especially if you start comparing yourself to others. But the reality is, the actual job might not be that far away, social media isn't always the best indicator for financial growth. Most people I know who make a lot of money actually don't have a big following

      Hey yeah thank you for the kind words! Yeah that was a part of my goal in this video. I had put so much stock into social media while note realizing that my real work was being seen by my commissions, which I didn’t really talk about out at all.

    I was expecting this to be a "how i learned all this stuff" kinda video.

    Congrats for the strength. I counted at least 5 "burnouts" during the first 3 years, it takes huge inner courage. Stay safe.

      Yeah haha I didn’t realize it until making this video which in a lot of ways was both encouraging and discouraging. But I’m Still here making things and happy so I can’t complain too much 🙌 thanks

    • @ZacFarmer
      @ZacFarmer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes we do! There’s always more opportunities to create. Knowing that has kept me going a few times. Currently learning to appreciate the smaller moments of creation too. Good luck to you and I hope you find that this next time is easier 🙌

    Awesome video man, your ornament/cathedral tutorial was what got me started in blender, so thank you for that! Loving your youtube videos.

    Great tutorial, I was just curious about the commissions that you got from posting your work on Instagram.. where they product commissions or other/ I’m thinking of posting some of my work on there too.Again very inspiring video.

      Hey thank you! Yes they were mostly product related, and some nft projects. It would have been really smart, still smart honestly, to make more product related renders and animations.

    ive been doing blender on and off for a couple of years and have been feeling kinda stuck, like im not progressing as much as I want to/should be. Do you have any tips?

    • @ZacFarmer
      @ZacFarmer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hey friend! I totally know what you mean. It can be challenging to tackle it all yourself. My tip and what has worked for me in the past is to answer a few questions. Why did you get started in blender? What gets you excited to keep trying? What do you find inspiring? Write it down intentionally and try to answer these. Then try to find some tutorials around those ideas. Try to finish them and when you feel comfortable share them with some people. Either on social media or just some friends or family. You could even send it to me! haha just keep trying and try your best to make it a habit that you are trying. The best thing you can do for yourself is finding your why early and then trying to make a habit out of completing these tasks. Don't stress and listen to yourself! Good luck! :)
