As a senior game engine programmer I can confidently say, if a game is disconnecting during LAN events it is not the server that is the issue. It's not even connecting to a server. Getting better servers will do nothing. It's just a poorly coded game on the 'client side.' Note that in FC 24, with the menus constantly 'hanging,' even in offline game modes, turning off the connection for the device results in the menus performing significantly better FOR OFFLINE MODES. It's just a poorly coded game on the 'client side.' Professionally, I wonder why there is a lack of pressure on platform companies like Microsoft and Sony as these issues will reflect poorly on their consoles. I was under the impression that platform developers must approve of a game for publishing rights.
@@captain_nullptr Thanks for your insight! So I know the clip I used where it blue-screened probably wasn't servers, but I still opted to use it since it "crashed" and went along with that section of the vid. They just buy up good studios and ip/licenses and just suck every last dollar out of the previous fans and when the game inevitably starts to fail they blame the studio for the downfall and close the studio and absorb some of the employees even tho that studio built the franchise into a multi hundred million dollar franchise before hand it could never be EAs fault in there eyes 😂

Good video, bro. I'll share my point of view as a Brazilian. I played with my final team on fut 23 for the whole fut 24 season, which was refreshing as I didn’t have to grind for anything or watch the transfer market. This game mode is such a waste of time and really is all consuming. It’s honestly like having another job, but more stressful than my actual job.
EA is no longer the problem here. The real problem is us, the people who buy the game and buy Fifa Points. The people who make content with this filth. The players are all screaming for change, but they themselves don't want to change. EA only speaks one language and that is: SALES. Only when something happens here will those at the top, who have nothing to do with game development, ask what's going on. EA will only react when the sales go backwards. I started with Fifa in 1994 and stopped buying this game 2 years ago. This game has hardly anything to do with soccer and was ruined by EA's greed. Instead of drawing the consequences here, you throw more money at this company. If we don't change, we certainly don't need to expect EA to change.

I play competitive clubs now 11v11 paid leagues, I don’t see it ever becoming an official esport. 1. Travel costs and salaries not many organisations is going to pay for 11 players fund/travel for lan events since it’s simply not that profitable. 2. 11v11 clubs is boring to watch with all due respect. Fun to play but such a pain to watch for the vast majority. For an esport to actually be successful it has to be eye catching to the casual. If People don’t even like watching fc pro the only reason people watch fc pro is because of all the lootboxes they offer for watching.😂 3. The closest thing we can ever get to a true esport in FIFA will be through Rush, but gameplay will need to change vastly before that even happens.
Don’t forget madden operates on 100% the same structure. The part no one talks about either is you might drop $2500 on packs before TOTY comes out. Then TOTY comes out and all new meta cards are out. Every promo just forces you to spend more money to get the most up to date meta card.
Great video dude. Their inability to address the fundamentals is most concerning. I actually think they have NO IDEA how to fix their code. They don’t want to, bc why would they? As someone who played fifa 12-16 a ton in high school, this game is a disgrace. People also forget how impactful weekly informs were…
This needs to be seen by many more players. For a casual gamer. It’s crazy how they expect us to pay way more than you would for other AAA games (e.g., Sekiro, DS3, even other games with micro transactions) This is my first year not paying a single dollar and granted I’m not that good but I’ve been grinding objectives, 45pts, squad battles, moments) I have 180k in the bank and Neymar - as you say I would’ve had that with maybe 2k fifa points
Fifa points in general get you these days untradeable fodder players, mostly to complete p2w sbc's. Getting coins for points is so hard, unless you dont mind spend 1 k on less than a mill ( Unless casino accidently gives you a nice player )
Could you do a video on how EA has turned youngsters who use their parents credit cards at the start of their fifa experience into full on gamblers with a serious addiction in their later years.. great content btw 👏🏽
You put out such a really well-rounded video here. I hope this video link is spammed to all EA employees by everyone reading this until they wake up and leave their delusional echo chambers and REBUILD this game. EA could be legendary in the eyes of football fans if they took CHANGE seriously, but they have dropped the ball, trying to polish a turd. Here at 566 subscribers, now 567 mate! Well done and wish you immense success on your channel.
You see. They bring every 2 weeks new promos so the values of the players like gold or other promo cards drop. It’s like a infaltion. If you had players worth 2Mil. Now they worth 1,5Mil. So you need to spend money on packs to get to the 2 Mil again. It’s a never ending cycle
Even as someone who has played Fifa all their life, and is a huge esport fan, competitive Fifa is an absolute joke. The game is so badly balanced that everyone just abuses the game breaking mechanics, and with all the cheese the game is genuinely RNG at times. Easily one of the worst esports out there.
I watched this through Jamboo’s channel and it’s spot on. The only thing I will add is it’s gambling aimed at children and EA deserve to get hammered for that.
people who still buy this game and pay 20/30/50$ a pack for players that will be outdated in one week are to blame. Who will ever stand up to fix something if he keeps getting money throw at ?
Whoever created ultimate team is a rich genius but grooming kids to gamble is this companies main priority. This should be illegal but no one seems to care. It’s gonna take the government to put a stop to their predatory tactics.
EA does not give us the full descriptions in the controller settings. Since about fifa 23 till this day on EAFC 25 I have been trying different settings and I have noticed that the more manual your settings become the more responsive, powerful and unrestricted the animations become, on the downside they are more difficult to aim and time. For example 1.Shoot assistance to manual gives you more powerful shots with the added advantage of lessening the restriction of dribble movements and animations but with the disadvantage that the game will not correct your aim at all even if you apply the correct techniques( lightly pushing the left stick, click and hold your left stick through out your the shot input and timing your shot to green) 2.Pass black assistance to manual + Advanced defending unrestricts your players aggression, strength , balance, jumping and improves agility when fighting for the ball but at the cost of the game helping you way less at tackling (in terms of tackling type and timing) and manually intercepting the ball with the correct inputs. I understand the reason for all of this is to making the learning curve a lot less steep so that newcomers don’t become overwhelmed and so that they can enjoy the game but I’m confused as to why the pro events are not fully manual after all these are considered to be some of the “best players” in the world but they are nowhere near their best because the game is constantly correcting their aim significantly, so this means they are not good from a technique stand point but only from a tactical point(decision making). As a personal note I find the game more enjoyed able because it is more responsive and rewarding knowing that I was entirely responsible for my aim when scoring a goal on manual
Ever since they started letting the AI defend for you is when the game started declining for me, FIFA 17 was the last good fifa not touched in for 2 years probs won’t ever play it again
Man props to you for making this video, love the references and narrative format. Top notch quality even though the topic is quite depressing. Ultimately we are all fans of football and are trapped in this scam of a game
What I never understood is why do people keep playing it? The same people have the same complaints year after year and they still buy it. What motivation do EA have to change anything? If you hate the game, stop giving them money for it!
Lack of viable market competition now that PES has essentially left the space. For a quasi-sim football game that you can play fifa is the only option. Football manager is great but it is very niche in what it offers by comparison.
@@holyroller9112 would be preferable but few have the discipline for that. I haven’t bought fifa in years but most people don’t want to take that step. Between nothing and shit, they’ll hold their noses.
Good video, but imo the game is more pay to win now than ever. A player with 99 passing and no playstyle plus has SIGNIFICANTLY worse passing than a player with 75 passing and lobbed ball plus, so the power curve is locked behind promos and store packs. Both playstyle pluses and the new position ++ thing are a way to make them more money with more promos yet they make the gameplay worse and unbalanced.
This was great. But what is bad is that even though all of the issues have been diagnosed, they will not fix them and we will still buy the game year after year.
Really nice to see that EA sports from april 2020 to march 2021 only contributed 1-2m on prizes, when their video games made them 1,600 million dollars, 1.6b that they did not want to reinvest into their own game that very easily could get fed back into the game or make more people contribute money to their microtransactions etc. very scummy and cheap of EA, they clearly do not care about their players at all...

I realized this franchise was dead after they got rid of 2v2 lobbies with friends. They went all-in on FUT and I wasn’t into it. wanted to play with my favorite club with friends, not bankroll a team with coins.
I can become as good as I want in fifa but in ultimate team I get a whooping from a 9year old who play with a team filled with Terminators and a tactic I can’t imagine work in reality. That his mom payed for 😅 They should at least made a alternative ultimate team system where you can’t spend money but just earn your money trough matches and buy/sales.. I will never buy a fifa again if they don’t remove the money grab system from the game !
I think not taking into account 24 and 25 actually hurts certain aspects of this video. The biggest issue is that while "skill" still does matter to some extent, the top cards are still fairly unattainable until late, and having meta cards with certain PlayStyle+ attributes is key if you want to survive at the top level. It's gotten to a point where even top players struggle on their RTG accounts. The gap is just as much about the cards as it is about skill at this point.
oh 100%, it hurt the video not including 24 or 25 but it wasn't feasible for me to add for a lot of reasons I won't go into, so I just went with what I had! And I agree with you to an extent, I think the point I was still trying to make is that a bad player with the best possible team would still lose to a good player with an average team more often that not. But yeah obviously when you have good players against good players in EA FC nowadays, the guy with better players/playstyles+ would have a considerable advantage
Had a viewer give me a heads up about this vid since I had a Tweet highlighted in it. Just finished watching, fantastic video bro. Been following you for ages on Twitter, and you've always been a W voice in the community. All love man
Also back in fifa 17 atleast players had different styles that could make them pro. A good esport needs skill you can identify as being amazing and hard to replicate..
Fut mode and pay to win gambling mode demolished and damaged fifa forever…best fifa Series we had were the ones with the match lobbies, if someone can remember..
Great video mate game is just absolutely screwed since a lot of years back and back then we didnt even realise how good we had it if u compare it to how it is rn
The problem is not the players but is with EA. They don’t care about the noises and just steamroll us with the contents they deem fit. Every feedback the community is giving, i don’t think ea is even bother reading or listening. Silence is golden for them.
i was really addicted to this game I decided to quit on fifa17 and wow my life and mental health shifted to whole another level i hope people realize how bad this game is and ea manipulating them And finally great video
I only played FIFA ultimate team in FIFA 15 and afterwards I’ve never played it again. I only play offline career mode or tournaments now and if that is poor
I've never found Ultimate Team appealing when I heard about it. Naturally, I don't buy FIFA titles that often and then EA removed the Brazilian League, presumably because they didn't want to spend the money to just to put crests and kits on Ultimate Team and the players would've been too expensive. Last game I got was 21, which naturally came with a FUT ad right as you start... which was increasingly funnier when it followed a message saying that they had turned off the servers years ago. Still see little adboards for them during Career Mode and it still feels laughable. I did hear 25 had somehow added things to Career Mode but I'm not on a rush to get it, maybe in the 2030s. EA's an incredibly greedy company that got their fingers into many pies and have successfully found ways to ruin pretty much all of them and their sports wing follows that standard pretty similarly. You'd think they'd at least provide more of a financial incentive to the e-sports crowd, even more so now that they don't need to pay FIFA as well but I suppose that would require them parting ways with money.
Amazing video. Real sad. One day justice will be done, but they have already saved money for thst day anyway and will happily pay the fine and pretend nothing happened
That’s something I should’ve included in this video in all honesty, an oversight on my part. Honestly not sure i could make a full video out of it either tbh
It was a game I used to love and nowadays I can only play a couple casual hours, do some SBCs and call it for the day. Every bit of love that was put into the game was sucked out in favour of pack schilling and FOMO mongering. Truly an awful company.
Been playing FIFA since 12 and never touched FUT, its just a scam. The game also gets more "spammy" every iteration to push FUT in your face, while steadily losing game quality.
Great video honestly Subscribed The gameplay is why esport will never succeed in fifa The new ^ai^ is absolutely terrible and is predeterment beforehand As long as ea refuses to remove dda there is no hope for this game Everything is chosen before the game even begins Who wins who loses hiw a chance will go hiw the goalkeeper will react Sometimes the vame wants you to scire so the ball will start going inside the players to give the opponent a advantage its bad
In FC25 no matter how many points you buy, you get nothing. Quite the opposite, the more points you put in, the more you will get nothing. The solution is with us and it's so simple, don't buy this game no matter what and how much we want it!
Can remember being that kid in fifa 09-17 will always win games in my favour heck the only way I concede is by headers and Rebound goals… (in current fifas)
Ngl i would not compare Fifa's price pools to Fortnite's World Cup because WC was one-off event when the game was on the peak of its hype and esports scene was not clear structured by Epic yet. Nowadays its replaced by FNCS with 3 online majors in the end of the seasons and final LAN major in the end of the chapter
I understand that view, but I think for me it’s still telling that half of one tournament outweighed 6 years of fifa for a game that you can’t pay for competitive advantages. and i think it’s one that most people are familiar with. But agreed, they definitely didn’t keep that type of prize pool going after the world cup
i think we all can agree that EA are the worst gaming company in gaming history, i never understood how you can deal that bad with and add so much toxicity to an football game scripted from the start to the end... and putting an casino on it like duh.. Anyways good video man !!

If People don’t even like watching fc pro the only reason people watch fc pro is because of all the lootboxes they offer for watching.😂
Ea never disappoints when it comes to disappointing
It’s wild that some of the bugs and glitches in this video are from 7 years ago, and still in the game
Great video dude. Their inability to address the fundamentals is most concerning. I actually think they have NO IDEA how to fix their code. They don’t want to, bc why would they? As someone who played fifa 12-16 a ton in high school, this game is a disgrace. People also forget how impactful weekly informs were…
Ty360 content in 2024 we have been BLESSED
This needs to be seen by many more players. For a casual gamer. It’s crazy how they expect us to pay way more than you would for other AAA games (e.g., Sekiro, DS3, even other games with micro transactions)
This is my first year not paying a single dollar and granted I’m not that good but I’ve been grinding objectives, 45pts, squad battles, moments)
I have 180k in the bank and Neymar - as you say I would’ve had that with maybe 2k fifa points
Fifa points in general get you these days untradeable fodder players, mostly to complete p2w sbc's.
Getting coins for points is so hard, unless you dont mind spend 1 k on less than a mill ( Unless casino accidently gives you a nice player )
“Competitive gaming” but you need several thousands of $ to even enter 😂
Tbf football irl is massively RNG a lot of the time. That's something that will be always be a factor in football games.
@@MR12AMAZING 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I watched this through Jamboo’s channel and it’s spot on. The only thing I will add is it’s gambling aimed at children and EA deserve to get hammered for that.
people who still buy this game and pay 20/30/50$ a pack for players that will be outdated in one week are to blame.
Who will ever stand up to fix something if he keeps getting money throw at ?
this is a great video bro, i hope your channel takes off
they should block the sale of these FC points, just like in Belgium, because it is simply pure gambling
The community is the worst thing about this franchise imo. So toxic for no reason. So glad I don’t play this shit anymore.
L2 + up up
Whoever created ultimate team is a rich genius but grooming kids to gamble is this companies main priority.
For example
1.Shoot assistance to manual gives you more powerful shots with the added advantage of lessening the restriction of dribble movements and animations but with the disadvantage that the game will not correct your aim at all even if you apply the correct techniques( lightly pushing the left stick, click and hold your left stick through out your the shot input and timing your shot to green)
2.Pass black assistance to manual + Advanced defending unrestricts your players aggression, strength , balance, jumping and improves agility when fighting for the ball but at the cost of the game helping you way less at tackling (in terms of tackling type and timing) and manually intercepting the ball with the correct inputs.
@@RD-wg9em How about nothing?
@@holyroller9112 would be preferable but few have the discipline for that. I haven’t bought fifa in years but most people don’t want to take that step. Between nothing and shit, they’ll hold their noses.
Even problems on FC UT (FC ULTIMATE TEAM) seemingly never gonna get resolved in FC 25.
The main reason is always no competitor for EA. If we can have a equal quality 'fut" in Konami it will be different.
or they pay Konami to stop produce a new game
@@andreilucian10 wow that maybe true! Now EA is the only shark in the football game.
@@yuzejia6895 Konami just isn't good enough to be a competitor sadly
@@Testing12382 yup been falling since 2014
Well said. Really appreciate all the work you have put in to this.
Keep this content on !!, first time i feel someone is speaking with my voice not missing a sentence
good video bro
wish ur channel the best
This was great. But what is bad is that even though all of the issues have been diagnosed, they will not fix them and we will still buy the game year after year.
Really nice to see that EA sports from april 2020 to march 2021 only contributed 1-2m on prizes, when their video games made them 1,600 million dollars, 1.6b that they did not want to reinvest into their own game that very easily could get fed back into the game or make more people contribute money to their microtransactions etc. very scummy and cheap of EA, they clearly do not care about their players at all...
Hello Ty360, I can see that this is your first or second video on this channel and its taking off, just wanted to say that we need more from this conent or even in other games, it would be so fun for your viewers and you will start to gain more and more subs, hope to see you upload more of this conent, best of luck.
What a nice video man, very professional , keep it like that , hopefully next year i ll come back and see you with more then 100k subs🎉
I realized this franchise was dead after they got rid of 2v2 lobbies with friends. They went all-in on FUT and I wasn’t into it. wanted to play with my favorite club with friends, not bankroll a team with coins.
Fantastic video!! I really hope this gets more exposure. 10/10
It’s the biggest issue I’ve seen in gaming. As streaming became more popular so did the way you can buy your way up to be on top
I can become as good as I want in fifa but in ultimate team I get a whooping from a 9year old who play with a team filled with Terminators and a tactic I can’t imagine work in reality. That his mom payed for 😅
They should at least made a alternative ultimate team system where you can’t spend money but just earn your money trough matches and buy/sales..
All love man
@OchrisFUT hello brother
@@Ty36zero Hope you're doing well brother!
Also back in fifa 17 atleast players had different styles that could make them pro. A good esport needs skill you can identify as being amazing and hard to replicate..
Fut champs is the worse thing to happen to ultimate team
please continue to uncover this scam, there are not enough videos
This video needs to be shared more
Good video bro, spot on
Fut mode and pay to win gambling mode demolished and damaged fifa forever…best fifa Series we had were the ones with the match lobbies, if someone can remember..
This video is phenomenal, keep it up buddy :))
thank you bloomy
Great video mate game is just absolutely screwed since a lot of years back and back then we didnt even realise how good we had it if u compare it to how it is rn
The world would be a better place if Electronic Arts never existed. What good have they ever provided to gamers? Ever?
The problem is not the players but is with EA. They don’t care about the noises and just steamroll us with the contents they deem fit. Every feedback the community is giving, i don’t think ea is even bother reading or listening. Silence is golden for them.
Great video keep on going !
Fc 25 last one I buy retiring from football games .. I’ve just done evos this year can’t get out of div5 with them though
Thanks for talking about this!
until another company creates a game EA will be the only game. Konami gave up. UFL maybe a hope but will take them years
i was really addicted to this game I decided to quit on fifa17 and wow my life and mental health shifted to whole another level i hope people realize how bad this game is and ea manipulating them
And finally great video
I never understood why Fifa Esports didn’t continue with Seasons/KO mode…
There are reasons why EA has been on my boycott list for... 6...? 8? Years. Cant remeber anymore how long exactly...
MUT and FUT killed EA Sports competitive gaming.
Amazing video my man, keep it up.
I only played FIFA ultimate team in FIFA 15 and afterwards I’ve never played it again. I only play offline career mode or tournaments now and if that is poor
The only solution to this is boycott the game, but nearly no one will ever do this
Great job mate!
I have my most fun with fut at the very beginning with my starter squad and building a half decent gold team, and growing from there.
The game is just breaking down AI and trying to figure out how to exploit all of the flaws
I really like your video bro, pretty much perfect bro. keep it up
thank you bro
damn, how do you have only 200 subs, your content is nice, man!
Great video!
Shocking
bravo. i miss pre foot champs UT. Quit almost a decade ago now. damn
I want the old Career Mode focused FIFA, thanks to TH-camrs for ruining the Franchise promoting Ultimate Team
This is why I stopped playing Ultimate Team in FIFA 23
I started playing it in FIFA 20 btw
Amazing video. Real sad. One day justice will be done, but they have already saved money for thst day anyway and will happily pay the fine and pretend nothing happened
Nice video but can you do a video on how fifa esports teams make money ? Like team Gullit for example
That’s something I should’ve included in this video in all honesty, an oversight on my part. Honestly not sure i could make a full video out of it either tbh
LEGEND top INFORMATIVE video!
It was a game I used to love and nowadays I can only play a couple casual hours, do some SBCs and call it for the day. Every bit of love that was put into the game was sucked out in favour of pack schilling and FOMO mongering. Truly an awful company.
An equal embarrassment are people still buying it every year.
Been playing FIFA since 12 and never touched FUT, its just a scam. The game also gets more "spammy" every iteration to push FUT in your face, while steadily losing game quality.
Actually not only have I heard fifa explained like this I have also heard it explained far better and less annoying
this video needs more attention, great expose
Great video honestly

The gameplay is why esport will never succeed in fifa
The new ^ai^ is absolutely terrible and is predeterment beforehand
As long as ea refuses to remove dda there is no hope for this game
Everything is chosen before the game even begins
Who wins who loses hiw a chance will go hiw the goalkeeper will react
Sometimes the vame wants you to scire so the ball will start going inside the players to give the opponent a advantage its bad
Huge video, wish one of the main FIFA creators do a react to this
In FC25 no matter how many points you buy, you get nothing. Quite the opposite, the more points you put in, the more you will get nothing.
The solution is with us and it's so simple, don't buy this game no matter what and how much we want it!
Big shocker a company tries to make as much profit as possible
i guess i could’ve just said that tbf
Poor Timmy 😢. Like commented and subscribed 👍
Can remember being that kid in fifa 09-17 will always win games in my favour heck the only way I concede is by headers and Rebound goals… (in current fifas)
At this point, eafc esports should be 4v4 rush mode
