Myanmar's charming colonial Hill Town of Maymyo

The charming former British Colonial hill station of Maymyo, also known as Pyin Oo Lwin, sits at an altitude of 3,510 feet, offering a respite from the intense heat of the lowlands during summer months.
The drive from Mandalay to 'Penear Lwin', is a slow one, but it will take you through some incredible countryside. If you were to stay on this road you would eventually end up in China.
