Don't we all do ? Whenever I see a board game, I think of the co-optional lounge game nights. A podcast? The Co-Optional podcast... Videogame review? WTF is... Someone bringing up Terraria in chat... etc etc. I'm sure there will come a time when he slowly fades from our memories, we were just spectators. But his actual friends and family? Probably won't happen.
German translations: "Beim Olivenbauer" - restaurant "at the olive farmer" "BIO" - "organic" it can be put on products following EU law for organic production "Schwarze Eva, Erfrischungsgetränk" - "Black Eva, Soda drink" has the green leaf sigil on the back, so it seems to be a certified organic lemonade "Schiffwirtschaft" - "Ship restaurant" we like our combined nouns, this restaurant is just right at the river Lech, so it be for boat traffic Neuschwanstein Castle was build by one of the most famous Bavarian kings, König Ludwig II, especially to look like a fantasy castle, he did not like bland design and build several other sights like the "Lustgrotte" - "pleasure cave" as well. The castle was also inspiration for Disney's main castle and is featured in the hit PC game "Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within", which is a riot, you would love it Jesse.
My Illustration teacher at community college was the artist who did most of those cute paintings for the Celestial Seasonings tea packaging. I think of her every time I see them at the store.
13:38 Nic Cage isn't a 65$ wine man. He's the "I got it from an auction for 27k. It's a bottle found in a captains chest in the wreck of an 19th century French ship of the line off the coast of Anguilla"-man.
Weather Suggestion: Brno - Czech Republic: The main feature of the city is the big black astronomical clock in its main square. Also, some people consider it the Florida of the Czech Republic for its warm summers and bizarre new stories. The city also has its own "dragon" which in reality is just a big stuffed crocodile hanging from the ceiling of the old town hall... Earlier this year it hosted a March of Silly Walks and currently, it is hosting a big fireworks competition called Ignis Brunesis.
Based on Jesse's wish to visit Iceland, I request the weather for Djúpivogur, Iceland. My partner and I stayed there for a couple of days when we attempted to drive the entire ring road around Iceland in 10 days but then realized that this would mean non-stop driving and almost no time to actually take things in. So we decided to stay a couple of days in this cozy fishing town in the east fjords, enjoy long walks along the ocean far away from other tourists, and actually digest all the sights we'd seen thus far. Which were mostly an innumerable amount of waterfalls - "foss" in Icelandic. We found that we got "foss fatigue" at some point because we were simply going too fast from one place to another. Edit (important food info): I remember having a decent burger as well as fish n chips there. There's a small eatery at the main road in this tiny village (Við Voginn).
Yes, "Bio" is a label in germany similar to "organic". I don't know the specifics, but it's basically a certificate that certain conditions are met with the goal to have more humanely and/or eco friendly produced food.
The Prisoner is an excellent wine! I love that Crendor is a "wine douche" but still sensible when it comes to the price of wines. $20-40 has some amazing wines in that range! For me, diminishing returns happen around the $60 mark.
Jesse: when you order both drinks, which do you drink first? The bitter of a dark beer is natural accent to the sour/sweet pink drinks. After one, the other will experience much stronger.
I just want to comment on Neuschwanstein castle, the reason it looks like its right out of a fairy tale is because it was built like that on purpose, construction on this castle started in 1869 (and was never completed) because king ludwig II of bavaria didnt like the castle already there (hohenschwangau castle) and had Neuschwanstein built in the picturesque style of romanesque architecture basically to look like a fairy tale. This castle is very modern by comparison to other castle that we, especially us americans, think of, it was still being built when the car was invented and ludwig II is a very interesting fellow in his own right
The thing is, i expect to hear jesse do that last note on 'morniiing' for the intro and crendor make a random sound. Anything else upsets that status quo jesse hahahahaha
Weather request for Jackpot, Nevada. It was called Horshu before Cactus Pete founded a casino and now its the gambling hub for the northwest states who dont want to go to Vegas
I'm with Jesse. I'm a tequila kind of guy but I'm a sucker for weird drinks too. I'm always down to try weird stuff. Then again I also feel attacked because I have a ton of beer at home for the hope someone else can come over and drink with me lol.
Hoping my comment gets picked but would you guys read out the weather requests for Hershey Pennsylvania Me and my buddy are going there for the Calder cup finals for the AHL
