Nik if we will be in Manila on a Friday or Saturday then we will check out the clubs better than the ones in your video! 😎 yeah 🤟🏼 nevertheless I like your video! 💯
Mostly i prefer Thailand as there the club are always with people never empty or so....nevertheless we should explore Japan nightlife too...specially after seeing this content :) Great videography
In japan you have to go to clubs marketed towards foreigners. Those are the clubs where people interact, dance, and hookup with each other. Clubs where only Japanese people go tend not to be fun cuz they stick to themselves or their group.
similarly, and because they might speak english, ring them up and ask for access behind the scenes? Even if it's just an opportunity to bring in some bigger gear and shoot a few seconds from behind the bar, or with the staff. You'd be surprised how open people are if you just ask.
What tools do you use to create your videos? macbook pro? specs? software editor? planning to get a mb pro mostly for programming in swift and python and go so I don't need a heave multimedia machine but still can run a couple of other VMs
I use a macbook pro 15" 2016 Edition, which is sufficient for most of the editing (sometimes a little laggy). For editing i use final cut pro, because it runs smoother on a Mac than Premiere.
Yeah, Shibuya isn't very foreigner friendly. You won't see as many expats and the girls who go to Shibuya aren't looking for those types of guys, and they'll have English skills that reflect this. Roppongi is where you'll want to go as a foreigner. Also, watching other videos on Tokyo nightlife, the clubs don't get popping until like...2 in the morning. Which is actually pretty damn annoying, but you can find some bars and clubs that close a bit earlier and hop to those before heading to the clubs.
Yea, If you want to stay alone (as a foreigner) in Tokyo, go to Shibuya, if you want to meet people and get laid, go to roppongi. It’s the exact same thing in Seoul. Tokyo and Seoul have distinct party districts where foreigners go and where locals go that want to meet foreigners. Because everyone follows that rule, you barely will find any local (girls) in Shibuya that have any interest in meeting or talking to a foreigner.
Well.... what do you spect if you go to a club where "claptone" crap is playing ?? Tokyo has a really really great real underground clubs (No claptone kind of clubs)
I'm planing to go when all this mess is sorted out and would of hit up the exact same/types of clubs as you in Tokyo, especially womb, it had a big reputation back in the day so very surprised it was as quiet as you saw....still you ticked it off the list mate, save it for the berghaim 😂♥️🇬🇧
I think you can have a much better time in Tokyo if you stick with the small pubs. Meeting people is easy and you end the night with a whole group of new local friends.
My guess is you went to clubs that are more tourist known and not local known. Many times locals like to keep their little secrets about the best clubs. PS: Nightclubs and bars are possibly the worst places to pickup a girl.
I generally don't understand people who think nightclubs are good locations to pickup girls. Especially when these clubs are totally packed and noisy. But I disagree when it comes to bars. you can decide wether to sit at a table or dance on the floor and the music is just the right volume for still being able to chat. I think bars a perfect places to meet new people, pickup girls etc.
I'm slightly older than the usual crowd that goes clubbing. (30s) However, I want to chill with my wife and take her to a club over there when i visit, is there much judgement or a place that's suited for us bruh?
that's how clubbing is in the modern era, unless there's a special event or celebrity coming to perform, most places will be dead or sausage fest. UNless you're in a place like vegas
Have you been clubbing in Asia?! If so, which cities have you been to? Let me know!

Which clubs did you suggest? Thinking of visiting soon.
Which clubs would that be?
Well, this was sad...
Watching this during the quarentine and wishing I could travel again soon :(
Clubs in Tokyo are pretty much empty if you go weekdays.
Will be packed on Fridays and Saturdays...
But your shootings are good as always.
It was a saturday actually! :(
I had a good time clubbing in Tokyo. Went to several different places in Shinjuku and Shibuya.
This is what I call Tote Hose...
Very good information. I learned a lot. Thank you.

Next time watch the Reformatt Tokyo nightlife guide, you made a lot of mistakes. Try again after the pandemic!
which mistakes? any link? I made the same experience like Nik

I like Taipei the most
Cool editing
Thanks a lot!!
Clubs in tokyo only start around 2-3 am really, since the trains stop running. You should have gone to Roppongi! that's where the real clubs are
