Mine looks way different than that! Probably why mine shuts off after about 6min of running. Thank you for explaining in a way I understand, I realize now to add check valves to mine and put a low flow. Thanks again!
I was looking for information about the recirculation pump. and was distracted by the gas lines. I am not aware of a place where galvanized pipe is code legal or appropriate or gas
Fantastic video and layout. This makes a lot of sense with the hot water return loop back to the intake with the check valves. I was researching this to fix and replace old waterlines to my tankless water heater and stumbled upon your video. Did you have to use a recirculation pump? I am hoping to do the same without a recirculation pump.
Good video thx. What is the valve for that is at the bottom of the hot water return line? Also how quiet are these units? My contractor says we should put our unit inside of our uninsulated garage instead of in our utility room due to possible noise. He said he has one at his house and can hear humming when his fires up.
my plumber installed 2*4 piping instead of the recommended 3*5 for a tankless Rinnai--now he wants to add an adapter rather than exchange all of the piping which has been insulted & roofed--is this an ok fix? Thanks!

I hope it doesn't get cold where you are. If your condensate drain goes outside it will freeze!
