I just bought these and i am pretty frustrated that PC owner without cell phone cannot make a profile! This is beyond ridiculous! Does activating sxfi button work with a default profile or it absolutely need these pictures?
I found having to scan my right ear, head, left ear rather annoying and this is a process that requires someone else doing it for you. I did it in front of a mirror and had a hard time doing it.
This amp drains the battery on my phone very quickly and I've noticed it doesn't hold a charge like it used to when it's not even connected. I'm charging my phone twice as many times. Worse yet, my battery is non removable. This amp may be good for tablets and laptops but for smartphones.
does it dont need external powerbank? If it use battery od device it can not use full power of amp, but i am stupid i dont know what i am talking about
The photo taking aspect feels sus - perhaps snake oil. I study AI & I'm familiar with gene expression, phenotype, body development, & sound calibration. There are more reliable, though traditional, ways to customize sound profiles. The methods used to calibrate hearing aids. Hell, you can still use AI on traditional methods for further improvement. Sorry but SXFI is triggering my marketing BS alarm.
It took me longer to set up than it did to get sick of the perverted sound it produced. It's ok with effects off, plenty of power to drive 6xx 600Ohm cans, but about what you'd expect for 60 bucks,i.e. not much

Warning !!! Before you buy it make sure that your phone supports Asynchronous USB Mode. Samsung Galaxy S 10+ doesn't .It works fine with S 8 & S 9.
