Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
After snagging lunch, I went around the crossings in Trenton, trying to decide which one I wanted to go to to film next. While doing that, I saw that a southbound was approaching Trenton, so I decided to try and catch it down at this crossing on the south side of the city, hearing the train calling closer and closer signals over the scanner as I made my way over to this crossing. Shortly after I got here, I was able to catch my seventh train of the day: NS 179 flying south out of Trenton with a lone AC44C6M pulling on the head-end, and another AC44C6M working as the train's DPU.
This crossing is another decent one, featuring one of what I believe is only four mid to late-2000s NS installs on the NS AGS North District. This crossing is one of only about six crossings on the AGS North with a Safetran Type 3 e-bell as well, interestingly enough. Thankfully, almost nothing has changed to this crossing since it was installed, with the only notable change I see here being that both of the original gate arms were restriped at some point. Like with many restriped gate arms on the AGS North, the original diagonal striping can be seen poking-out at the bases of both arms, if you look closely.
