He looks like a sick man and his lips look a blueish colour. 🤔 I've no idea what he's like at home as a husband so can't judge his wife for throwing in the towel due to his physical decline and alleged bad moods.
God bless you eamon,.. life’s full of twists and turns / high’s and lows,..No one knows what’s around the corner in our path through life, I wish everyone the very best in life And I hope things get better for eamon and you all,.🙏🏼❤️😌
Hope your health improves Eamonn, you have a lot to look forward to, you are so knowledgeable and liked, You say it how it is, so honest. Good luck to you 👍🏼🙏
Fantastic. A gem of a show. And 2 gems of broadcasting. Living legends. Love to see this relaxed conversation with the two of them expanded into it's own regular show. A visual podcast maybe?! This went under my radar somehow. Love to see this featured on Gogglebox.
Always loved Eamon as far back as when he had the farming program here at home. I’m so sorry to hear his health is so bad. It’s so true you’re health is your wealth. As we are the same age and haven’t got good health myself. Wishing you all the best Eamon, will have you in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
What a great show Gerry. I was so sad to learn about Eamons poor health. My goodness I always admired this lovely gentleman. Wishing him much happiness and peace in the future. God bless.
Fantastic interview. He’s a thoughtful, considered, reflective person. Can’t see how he was ever compatible with someone like Ruth. Hope he can move on and find peace and contentment.
God bless you Eamonn I hope life gets easier for you I’ve suffered with pain for the last ten years due to arthritis in my spine so I can relate to you in so many ways . I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation between friends Eamonn was so honest which I love & so funny .
Hello , I knew Eamon had health problems but was shocked to learn of his current situation ,never knew it was that bad, Brilliant Chat though. I met Eamon many years ago at SKY, LIVINGSTON, he was coming towards me with his Entourage , he said Where did you get that TAN, I hadnt even been on holiday, I TAN very easy ,at work, they used to call me MR TAN MAN , lovely Guy 👌👏👏 all the very Best Eamon .
Love these two men .im from Kerry and the same age age Eamon also met him many times at the Irish plat awards in London which my Husband a Donegal sponsors .what you see is what you get 😮😊T Kelly I wish you recovery Heath plus plus
Absolutely love Eamonn Holmes. Although I hated that he jumped on the Philip Schofield bandwagon, he is as honest as the day is long, and I admire that. Just no pretence with him. He is definitely getting more contrary, but I love that too. Lol.
That accent thing does actually happen. The accent returns as you subconsciously readapt to your original surroundings. I went to school with Eamonn and, to be honest, he sounds the same to me now as he did back in the nineteen seventies. Also, it has to be said that he was a nice guy then and seems to be a nice guy now.
Sure eamon Holmes is terrific without him this morning is humourless his sarcasm his witty sayings are the making of it he owns it with his touch of blarney he never lost his identity kudos to you eamon 😂❤
Its quite a full circle to see and hear Gerry Kelly. He was a big deal back in the day.Eamonn Holmes has had very bad luck regarding his health. That is a difficult one.Yes health is your wealth. Some people have no idea what some go through.Health is wasted on so many nasty people in my personal opinion. I think maturity plays a positive part here.I turned my tvs off many years ago.Cant stand Loose Woman, This Morning. Just pure driven rubbish.Mind numbing. Who remembers the tv show way back called " Turn off your tv and go do something...?". I did.Never looked back.
He sat on ITV's This Morning couch for 15 years, doing the same show with a regular time slot - I'd hardly call that a freelance arrangement. The fact that he paid more in legal fees than the actual back taxes is complete madness. I'm sure he disregarded his lawyer and accountants' advice to settle - it would have been cheaper in the long run. No sympathy for a guy who made millions and set up a company to avoid taxes.
Dont you think its time to retire, you have had a great career. Give the younger ones a chance. You and Ruth should be enjoying yourselves going on holidays.
Hes honest if nothing else,,,,,,, some people talk what there tokd to say !@@@@@@@ dear Carol for talking honesty was sent gone ,,,, and her friends ?????????? Never sent anything. , the likes of dumb collen thinking shes a comedian,,,, not not horrid person
There was nothing commendable about Holmes speaking out against Schofield AFTER the Schofied story had become widely known. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that Holmes (by the timing of his criticism) was driven by envy ( of Schofield's career success) and bitterness that he (Holmes) hadn't achieved the pinnacle of career success he clearly must have sought). Likewise, his swipe at Graham Norton at 14.25, was at best, unnecessary. It is much better to acknowledge Norton's obvious talent and skills rather than judge the whole programme based on a gimmick that takes up such a tiny percentage of the viewing time. Even if Holmes doesn't like the programme's format, many do judging by the viewing figures, so it's best not to sound like you're chewing on sour grapes. Maybe, like many in their 60s, he has to face up to the fact that he's ageing and must make way for the next generation. We all eventually have to. The lesson most of us learn by the time we reach our 60s is that life is unfair and that you gotta roll with the punches. His health issues are awful but as all those in similar pain, who have contacted him in the middle of the night, should have taught him, you've got to practise stoicism, cause there's always someone much worse off. You've got to find a way to count your blessings. (Put on a spirit of praise for a heart full of heaviness. Isaiah 61:3). It's harder to make sense of his court losses given what he says of Kay Adams and Lorraine Kelly. Courts of law are bound by precedent, so similar cases should always have a similar outcome, so there must have been something different about the facts of his case. But regardless, he gains nothing by complaining - especially when his main abode, which he hasn't had to sell, has a value of nearly £5 million, and both he and his wife are still in employment. There's a couple of pretty strong blessings for starters.
I think when he talks about the way younger people catch up on TV in the modern day, Eamonn misses the point entirely. Yes you may no longer have only 4 channels, but the audience reach is now much wider. As a 20 something I’m currently watching this in England on TH-cam. Without modern day viewing habits, I’d never have been able to watch this and unless it was repeated, which was almost never, I’d miss Gerry Kelly’s interviews entirely. Eamonn seems to have a glass half empty kind of attitude to everything these days, Yes, like everybody he has issues, but he is in a much more fortunate position than many, I just wish he would ditch the grumpy old man persona, it’s tiresome and annoying in equal measure.
I do not like eamon holmes its gerry kelly we irish treasure. I say as a women to eamon treat Ruth 14 years she give u. And u end up habing a affair with a women 20 years younger ..eamon u lost the cases because ur arrogant. ..but a truth ful interview

One of the very few TV personalities who’s willing to say it like it is. I’ve always had a lot of time for him.
Really hope Eamon gets his own chat show. He's the best
Very enjoyable. Eamonn deserves to have his own chat show.
I agree with Eamonn. I like him a lot. He is a true gentleman. Wishing you only good things ahead.
Good to see Gerry Kelly again. Always liked him.
Time to come home Eamon… We would love to see you with your own chat show.
Like or dislike Holmes. That was an honest interview.
I thoroughly enjoyed that. Good to hear an honest conversation .
I am with you Eamonn. I lost the ability to walk 9 years ago. I'm 39 now. Sickness & health does exist. Sending my love ❤

Great show but I must say I hadn’t realised that Eamonn was in such poor health, it was quite a shock. Wishing him a good recovery.

My heart goes out to your plight. May your life turn around for the good 😊
Real Backache is horrendous, I has chronic backache for many years until I had surgery, it literally saved my life.
He’s completely correct
I used to love Jerry Kelly on a Friday night and his new years show was great I remember one year they did it in his house
Eamon is hilarious 😂
He's a great broadcaster - they may have came for him as he's on GB News
Brilliant Eamon …. You are completely right about everything
Bring on a chat show and represent all the people suffering as you are 😊

at last someone talking sensen,i love it.!!!!!!!!!!!
I do like 👍Gerry Kelly as well best known for doing Ulster Television back in the last best presenter in Northern Ireland especially Eamonn Holmes too
AHH really enjoyed that.agree with so much discussed and know where Gerry lives as I live near there and it is heavenly.
I like him. At least he is honest. I’ve often thought “how the hell did that presenter get the job”. At least now I know.
Chin up Eamon things will get better. 🍀💚🌹
Ruth will appear with her new man soon and say she has just met him! What about "In sickness and in health" God bless you Eamonn.
He’s a great bloke , calls a Spade a JCB . I hope he finds someone decent unlike his ex Ruth. ❤

I'm not used to Eamonn sounding so Irish. He obviously lets his accent out back home :)

Eamon i feel nothing for. Treatung ruth the way he did and continues to do on GN news. Eamon thinks hes above the grounded person.
If you had paid your taxes and kept your finances in order. You may not have lost your house.
Always liked both men but jeez eamon has got obnoxious, fair enough his health is getting him down, but fast forward to 13 min.....what a dose

Never liked this man. It seems he treated Ruth so badly.

Gee I’d be bitter too if I’d just lost that case. Governments are disgusting.
