@@aarepelaa1142 so, the air acceleration is 9k, but that doesnt completely explain it as its not really possible to do on keyboard, it only works on controller basically just by turning your left stick, inputting a direction, you will gain speed, and you can change the direction pretty much anywhere its wild

Not really, Ultrakill has very snappy movement as Titanfall is more of a flow to it, unless you do tap strafing or whatever he's doing then you can literally do anything you want. ( Eh i leanred how to read but not type and its the air acceleration being set to 9k or something, wich just allows you to change directions really fast)

The game kinda blew up cause it went on sale on Steam again. Normal servers work but are a bit buggy (crashing to main menu + some data centers dont work) and the Northstar client now has custom models
What confuses me with this video is the movement that’s on another level. I don’t really understand how you manage to strafe backwards in the air like you do sometimes in this video. Is there some tech I somehow missed over the years?

There's a tutorial for how to download the Northstar client in the description. Weapon skins and mods are mainly posted on the Northstar discord and on the Thunderstore (links are also in the description)
so first, this is awesome. Second, do you still jump with space and not scroll wheel? The timing is insane if you're manually pressing space. third, when you strafe in the air do you normally stick to A and D unless you're doing circles? (Meme-strafing)

Northstar servers lets hosts change the air acceleration. Normally its set to 500, but the servers I played on had it set to 9k

timing bhops in titanfall is super lenient, you don't gain much by binding to mouse wheel imo
