All good Bro. The problem with Tata is that it has lost too many valuable customers and does not command a brand loyalty, especially the ones who go for upgrades. Agree Nexon was all good and was my first choice but went with Brezza and am happy with my decision. Reason why I had to go for Brezza and not a much higher end car? My Indica is nothing but a piece of junk since the 7th year. I can't sell due to poor price nor maintain it properly due to lack of spares and service. Ditto with Tata Safari 5 years on and, the back doors, corners have started rusting and maintenance issues in spite of all care. No great resale price and too heavy maintenance and fuel costs due to rise in diesel prices. I took the vehicle when the Diesel price was around 45 and overlooked the mileage of 8 KMs, but now it hurts. After spending 18+ lakhs in 10 years purchasing Tata cars, what's left is only frustration. Premiere 118 NE gave me a better resale price at the time of sale. Tata cars offer Poor Mileage, Poor Service, Poor availability of Spare Parts, Poor Resale, Poor Customer care and Zero peace of mind. Flexibility of handling was never a strong point of Tata. Security definitely a Yes 100%. A car maker needs to offer a good package over its life time. Tata needs a complete overhaul with approach toward consumer for the above mentioned. You cannot end up with a low resale value and high maintenance cost after 5 years \ 50000 Km's. Check yourself on the resale price of 6 Yr Innova\Tata Safari \ XUV 500, 10 Yr Indica \ Wagon R and 2 Yrs Nexon \ Brezza \ Ford Eco sport \ Duster you will get to understand the reality of a Tata car. You can upgrade from a 5 year old Innova to Innova Crysta \ Fortuner but not with a Safari. You will not find people upgrading from Indica \ Zest \ Bolt \ Manza to a Nexon or Harrier. Every car looks great when its new. Its very important that the car handles good for 15-20 Years. We may not use or sell it after 5 years, but it should be usable by second hand buyers \ third hand buyer from small towns and not end up in a junk yard after 5-7 years. I am critical about my comment but lets face the reality, most of them may have been owning a SUV \ Car for first time or second time, but Tata is a strict no-go for many folks from business or higher middle income groups. Its only for enthusiasts. This vehicle like Nexon will not do great business nor set the market on fire.

It's good package to buy. Bt there should be some add-ons
1)Top variant should have 18inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
2) Sunroof must be there as it's trend setter these days.
3) Automatic variant is must to attract buyers.
4) Price mst be very aggressive starting for 15 lakhs to 19 lakh on road pricing for top trim.

Hello Rachit....I am agree on the most of the points you have made. But there is one big ergonomic flaw in the seating position of driver...may be you dont notice that as you look like 6 feet taller. Can you check with guy with avg height such as 5-7 or 5-8? When with this height you try to press the clutch paddle fully, either you have to stretch your leg or if you are taking your seat forward then left leg knee is hitting the lower portion of dashboard, which I think a very big issue. Can you give your views on this and what improvement do you think tata has to do on this.

Bro i rode the car... overall its an excellent car but there was only one problem which i observed... may b i m wrong... the left side panel beside the steering wheel is too low and my leg was hitting it alot which obstructed me while driving... it was too irriting and will bother alot while ur driving for long... otherwise the car is great... i observed dis same problem in hexa too...

Pick up isn't a problem in Sport by any way. Lag less but not much and even NVH could have been better
