TOA et NF ont tué ce jeu comme le prouve encore cette vidéo. REP DAOC, 12 ans après tu n'es pas oublié.

Je joue depuis 2002 et ai suivi un peu toutes les updates. Je te garanti que le jeu est beaucoup plus "complexe" qu'avant. Beaucoup plus de sort comme tu le soulignes. Je peux comprendre qu'on adhère ou qu'on adhère pas. Je trouve justement que TOA a été une très bonne extension pour ma part mais c'est qu'une question d'avis.

J'ai choisi une "bonne" combinaison d'armure / item pour ma sc me permettant de tanker convenablement mais évidemment des compromis sont fait derrière. Je te rassure, les thane c'est thane fun au ae marteau. Je dois avoir une vidéo qui traine (th-cam.com/video/xc0OfBfJ0sM/w-d-xo.html) ou tu verras un peu plus de la magie du thane :D En espérant que celle ci te plaise mieux ;)

you can try the game for free with EC if you haven't logged in the last 6 months. You get a restricted account but at least you can log to see the population and make your own opinion before subbing :)
Great video! May I bother you with some questions? Do you have all to a boni capped? (Cast/melee speed, range, dmg) or is this not as important for you? How much const/tp should be on the temp? What do you think is the first thing you could sacrifice for a thane temp? I would be super nice if you could help me out with these questions:)
nah I only have 2% casting range and need to swap armor chest to be at 10% casting range. My temp have 80constit and 400hp. I would make anyway a hybrid temp (a bit more melee oriented) to solo with thane. Try to be average/good everywhere. for exemple 90str is enough imo. Don't try to hard cap everything or you will have huge hole somewhere.

I have tried many solo fights but I'm solo squishy which is a bit weird since my stats are absolutely great except that I have no som and 3 crafted pieces with omnis. Depends group or solo. For solo I like having 44hammer. In group 32-34-39 are enough as i'm looking for 42shield. New epic are awesome to fill in solo temp (for any class)

On Bracer I like retribution one but you can put warshadow as the utility value is huge. same on necklare, winter medal of honor is OP but i'm using luminescent neck due to the big stats. In term of belt I pretty appreciate pictslayer one, stats and toa are really good into it.

+jacob ladder this isn't coming from thane but from the stuff i'm wearing with heal procs. Stuff which is accessible to almost everybody. For this i'm wearing studded hunter/zerk chest instead of chain for example (so in other hand i'm losing AF & abs).

Oh i see. There isn't that much numb in the vid. You make a mistake between numb and mangle (animation is the same, numb has green flow while mangle is red). Numb is indeed 2sec stun but mangle is a 8second side stun.
Many years ago, I predicted that buffbots were going to ruin this game, and by all accounts, they did. I was basically right about everything I ever said about it. Pity. Still ... funny to see a thane of all things facerolling in RvR. ;p
Honestly, I moved on a long time ago. It's great they fixed the issue (sort of), but for me, it's too little and way too late. Glad you're enjoying it, though!
+Nardawg831 my temp have mostly item with 2 procs on it (ablative and heal - king epic stuff for example). I also have some uses like ablative, melee resist charge and som. I invested some ra into thoughness to gain more hp as well. ml10 studded vest also help with the small hot proc.
+Nardawg831 there is a lot of insta dumping in this vid (insta dd, chain lightning, doomhammer etc) so it helps with dps. I also have a weaponless temp so I can switch weapon to optimize dps vs certain classes.
+Lithlet yeah weaponless is tough. i try to get 400 str and 350 dex but capping my bonuses and still running wrath of champs 3 is hard. i guess you dont run that though. do you do purge 5? i like that extra bang wrath of champs has when you use it on a pack of squishies but i definitly do make myself softer putting so many points into it instead of in defense.
the level have severely drop, i cant understand how they can loose a 3 or 4v1...caster stay at close range, and melee dont pull the thane for expose his back to his friends..
typical example why this game now sux, EA destroyed the game with buff, and procs. I'm not saying that it is not possible to survive 3 or more enemy, but like this very easy.

Clip have been selected and do not necessarely represent state of the game. You consider wrong to be able to deal against 2 inf and 1 scout... well the scout doesn't do dps as I rupt him and doesn't even try to melee and the 2 infiltrator are NOT putting any poison so well don't expect they deal as a merc without envenom.

She barely took any damage when three of them was attacking her while she was 3 shotting them. It's really just an orgy of abilities and proc. That why daoc sucks now. Too much bloated with abilities and buff. Less is more. Wish broadsword would stop fucking around and release a classic server.

What are your heals being generated from?
it was a combinaison of heal proc / hot proc from studded chest + proc from Shade of Myst cloak.
Combinaison available for almost all classes.

with ToA Thanes became very viable. it just took a while for people to figure it out
Everyone without a buffbot uses Supremacy potions which gives you full red buffs. Buffbots are a non issue, but population is so come back!
