I cannot believe this sermon was given 2 years ago. Truth.... Will always be truth past, present, and future. Wished I came across this sermon 2 yrs ago, however, it still gave me what God wanted me to learn or reinforce in me things I was taught in the past that needed a strong reminding. This and 2nd sermon of 2 parts and also the 1st part hit me really hard. I try to be a good practicing Catholic but I know I fall short many times. It never stop to amaze me of God's love for all of us each time I'm reminded of it. It is so heart breaking! I try to keep everyone in my prayers and each day I also ask God to allow me to pray to my family's and everyone's Guardian angels and Patron Saints to guide, guard, and protect from the devil and his minions my family and all God's children as I know that not all Catholics pray to their Guardian angels and Patron Saints for intercession. I just think that doing so can't hurt but only help.. Christus Vincit, Christus Regnant, Christus Imperat! Christ crucified, have mercy on us and hide us deep within Thy wounds!❤️💙🕊🙏
Despite this jaw-dropping pontificate, I know that Jesus is still in the boat with us, so I'm not going anywhere. I love St. Alphonsus' 'The Great Means of Salvation and of Perfection'; it's so straight forward and gives me hope.
@@paulyosef7550 : I can commiserate... I think we need to remember that Our Lord remains there for our. Should we not remain and keep Him company, out of great gratitude for His sacrifice and love?
@@paulyosef7550 You should follow God, not man. The Eucharist at the new mass is validly consecrated by a validly ordained priest. The Eucharist is the source and summit of Catholic worship. An amazing Sermon full of the Holy Spirit, it reached the depths of the niggles that don't completely go, until now. God bless your ability to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit so that you can reach out. Thank you.
Wow, what a great and consoling sermon Father! I thank God for choosing and using you and other Sacred Servants to feed us with His words during this time of crisis in our Catholic Faith. May God be praised. Amen!
Wow, great points, Father! I think I now have a glimpse of the pain Our Lord felt when Peter betrayed Him for a while. Perhaps, it was more painful then Judas betrayal? I've been comparing what's going on in the Church with Judas' betrayal but it's more like Peter's. May all repent and may Our Lord, have mercy on us! Thank you for this homily Sensus Fidelium
11:05 Oh, my God, Your Holy Spirit is here again!! Brothers and Sisters, PLEASE listen to what this priest is saying! Our Holy Father Pope Francis may just need our prayers now.
Anxiety is offensive to God because He sees you don't really trust Him. (Can't remember where I read that.) Thank you Father, you are in my prayers. I wish all sermons would end with "He loves us."
I don't think anxiety is always offensive to God. It is a natural weakness to be worried or fearful about bad situations. It is not always a sign of lack of trust in God. Jesus experienced great anxiety the night before he died.
3:55 The Father, here, is keying in on such an important guide-arrow on our path to our Blessed Lord's Glorious Kingdom: and it's part of the gifts we receive during ours Confirmation: FEAR of the LORD. So confusing, but so eternal. During Confirmation, we submit ourselves to a FEAR, quite similar to our Lord's FEAR for our salvation in Him. Aside from Confession, it may just be our most LETHAL destroyer of the diabolical.
Truth is... ' Unless You Are A SAINT, You Are NOT Going to HEAVEN, SO MANY PEOPLE ARE MAKING THIS MISTAKE Because They Are NOT Being TAUGHT This VERY IMPORTANT TRUTH IN CATECHISM ' We Should ALL Be Working On Being A SAINT So We Won't Spend Long in Purgatory, Sadly Many Will Choose HELL ( And They Don't Even Know what Eternity is ) !!!!!! Don't Shoot for Purgatory either ... Shoot for Heaven and Work on Your Sanctifying Grace With GOD !!!!!
Rational anxiety (on the contrary to irrational anxiety) will keep you out of harms way. Anyhow most people did not themselves e.g. experience the all consuming horrific mega-firebombing (especially in the center) of Dresden. So their personal or genetically imprinted experience with- and insight in/grasping of fear/anxiety is *very, very limited* to begin with.
I pray for you Father. May God protect you and guide you always. You’re very holy and give me food for meditation

I struggle with anxiety daily... This homily really hit home.
Thank you for this reminder, Prince of Peace, Jesus I Trust In You.
Brothers and Sisters,
I can only speak for myself...but as I listen to THIS VERY PODCAST, Satan is whispering in my ear.
Pray for me.

When the devil buzzes in your ear, treat him like a mosquito and smack him with scripture!!!! :))
This isn't a podcast.
Anthony, the man is asking for prayers because Satan is messing with him, and all you can say is, "This isn't a podcast"? 🤦♀️
