My daughter divered last week and had a post partum hemorrage. It was really scary but nurses and doctors reacted quickly. Oxytocin did not work, injection to her thighs either. They sent her to operation room were they performed a procedure to clean tbe uterus. She got 2 bags of blood. She recuperated quickly and she is fully breastfeeding her baby. Thanks to God. Didnt know of this type of complication. She had a short delivery and was on treatment for low blood platelets. Thanks for the video. It was very informative.
Uterine inversion? Uh, how does that differ from uterine prolapse? In both cases the uterus involutes and possibly even pokes out to being visible. And uterine prolapse is predisposed by multiparity, which also predisposes uterine atony. Is uterine prolapse a more gradual thing than uterine inversion?
In Uterine inversion the uterus is turned inside out either partially or completely. On the other hand uterine prolapse is due to weakening of the pelvic floor muscles and the uterus merely descends towards the vagina in this case.
