As a nurse, I am constantly losing clipboards and pens. Pens have been handled, now you've answered my other issue! Thanks, Sis!! Gorgeous, as always 💜💜💜💜💜
Hey Darlin, Lovvvve this! I wonder if it would be easier to make a template from cardstock, 9:44 then use the Cricut snap mat to cut it from the vinyl? Or does the clipboard come apart. It’s super adorable (I’m just trying to find the easiest way for me)😅❤!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique could you send me the link to do the membership deal please? I don’t know how to find it in these things. I’m not that computer wise lol. Thanks in advance
Super cute! I wonder if I could scan the actual clipboard into DS and create a template that would cut the vinyl instead of manually doing it? Whatdayathink? Or take a pic of it and use the Cricut Snap mat? ❤
Hi! Your video totally helped me with the glitter portion but when it comes to the vinyl is there a big difference between permanent vinyl and printable?
Printable vinyl is more delicate and depending on the printer, inkjet vs laser, the printed ink can smudge or scratch off. Transfer tape damages printable vinyl and has no effect on permanent vinyl.
Try to lightly heat it and scrape it off without damaging it. If you do damage the other side you could sand it down, clean it and do an epoxy coat on that side if possible maybe?
@@FlynnSistersBoutique yes! After the glitter coat you said we’re all done, and then while you are talking about how cute it would be combined with a pen or tumbler for a teacher (I completely agree btw) you start putting on another layer of something. It does look like just clear epoxy. P.S. Thank you for all the work it must take to do these tutorials. I LOVE them.
please contact DIY Epoxy about that - it should not be expired. Sorry for the inconvenience. I've contacted them about this also and I'm waiting for that to be corrected.
as long as you prepped well it should be ok. I have larger epoxied acrylic pieces on my keychain that i carry everywhere and it gets trashed - it's been holding up well with 3 kids! So I can imagine this would be similar. Obviously not indestructible
Live it! I am just starting on my own working on theses…
I really have no reason to do a clipboard but you really make me want to make one! This turned out amazing!
Beautiful work girl.😊 Lisa
Thank you!! 😊

Yes of course!

Great gift idea thank you.
I love this! Did you add a final coat of epoxy to the back?
Nope! Its smooth 😎
Love.. this is perfect timing as I'm about to release a teacher gift set and these are the perfect addition. 🥰
Perfect! thanks for watching!

Who knew clipboards could be so cute?!
Dang you Jessica! I just jumped on the pen bandwagon after saying I wasn’t. Now I gotta go get some clipboards!! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣
lol they're so fun tho!
I have mould then on the mould should I put the clip before or after it's dry
I’ve never used the molds for these I’m sorry. I think you’ll want to put it on after
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thankuhh
Beautiful,and what a fun idea!
This is absolutely adorable and such an incredible gift idea!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
thank you!
Cute. Great tutorial.
Thank you! 😊
Gosh, you’re always so beautiful! Your work space, your shirts, you! #Goals 🤩 We are besties in my head lol. Thanks for another great video!
aw hey bestie!! thanks for watching!!
Beautiful but I’m wondering how the pressure from the clip effects the epoxy on the front.
not anymore than it would have effected the material that was there before :-)
If it's dry why would it affect it?
Such a cute idea!! Love it!
Love this!! ❤️ thank you for sharing!!!
OMG I love this ideal! Almost 60k yayyy! You rock 👏🏽👏🏽
woohoo !! thank you!
I love this and need one for my classroom! Thank you for sharing! 💕
Right! Same so cute and great for the classroom
Love it!! 😍😍 great vinyl choices!!
I love this, it turned out so cute! 😍
thank you!
Beautiful, this will now be added to my long todo list
So cute! I love it😊
What epoxy do you use for your projects
My epoxy - I have it linked in the description box
Adorable 🥰
Beautiful!!
This looks beautiful but I’m wondering why not put the design on the backside. Seems like it will be covered all the time with it on the front? 🤔
You can do it either way!
I may tape off front when I glitter back so I don't accidentally get glitter epoxy on the front. Love the tutorial.
Can you do another video with the glitter on the front of possible please.
This one was supper cute
sure we can do that later on. thank you!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique I would love to see the board done opposite. because if I'm using the board i want people to see the designs :)
This came out soooo cute!!😍
Love this!
Love it!
Love this!! Did you not need to seal the vinyl before adding epoxy? It doesn’t look like it repelled from there
some epoxy may need it to be sealed first but I've used both Alumilite and DIY Epoxy Artisan formula right over this vinyl and it works out fine **
What color glitter did you use? Super pretty!!
Wanderlust from PeachyOliveGlitters.com - use code FLYNN for 10% off $45 or more :-)
Question? Why do you sand the clipboard? Just curious
so everything adheres well
You should do something with the happy planner
hmmmmm I'll have to look into that!
Can you apply the epoxy with a brush?
My hubby uses a clip board at work. He's a fork lift driver. Anyone have suggestions on a fun way to make him a cip board?
Alcohol inks would be super cool.
just about any method you'd apply to a tumbler you could do here!
Curious if the sand marks will shine through if you just glitter the backside
No, once you epoxy over those they dissapear
Can you use a wooden/the more cardboard kind clipboard
I don’t see why not
@flynn sisters boutique do u ever do two coats on the back of the clipboard to get more glitter?
You could. I didn’t for this one
Love this great teacher appreciation gift
What can I do if the epoxy drips over the edges and onto the bottom side?
Try to lightly heat it and scrape it off without damaging it. If you do damage the other side you could sand it down, clean it and do an epoxy coat on that side if possible maybe?
Love 💕
Beautiful! Just curious if the metal clip is removable? Love all your pallet choices!
this one is not :-) I think there's ones out there tho that are
Super cute ! Idk if I’ll attempt this 😂 I see a hot disaster 🤣
How do you epoxy around the clip without the clip sealing to the clipboard with the epoxy?
We tied the clip open for the whole epoxy process
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you!
I have a clipboard mold! I have never used it though😂😂
How much resin did you use?
I wanna say 4oz per layer. This is a old video so I can’t remember exau
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thanks - I am a terrkble judge at how much to mix up.
Verycute
Now make a guitar bridge. 😆
😆
Did you just add a clear layer of epoxy at the very end?
over the glitter or?
@@FlynnSistersBoutique yes! Oh yeah I was just spreading out that same glitter mixture to make sure the glitter was even. It doesn’t need another coat
Thank you ☺️
@@FlynnSistersBoutique oh. Lol! Thanks for getting back to me so quick.
🥲 tried the coupon code for epoxy and said it already expired
please contact DIY Epoxy about that - it should not be expired. Sorry for the inconvenience. I've contacted them about this also and I'm waiting for that to be corrected.
💕🌸🌺💕
How will the epoxy on this hold up if it gets dropped? I’m just thinking of my kids teacher and it getting knocked out of her hands
as long as you prepped well it should be ok. I have larger epoxied acrylic pieces on my keychain that i carry everywhere and it gets trashed - it's been holding up well with 3 kids! So I can imagine this would be similar. Obviously not indestructible
Instead of a bread tie. Use a cable tie and it won't work its way free
oh ok! great tip! thanks!
Super cute!
