WOW. Gyutaro's Entrance was terrifying. When Daki screamed "ONI CHAAAAAN" and he popped out, I got massive goosebumps. We will most likely get a fuller version of his theme in the upcoming episodes so stay tuned for my covers on that! In my opinion I think the "Heroic" section of the theme is a part of Tengen's Theme. It sounds a bit too positive to be Gyutaro's theme but we'll find out!
for someone like me, who hasnt read any of the manga, i was shocked to say none the less, daki being so massively overpowered, i didnt even think something like that was possible. i thought they were doing the boring shonen thing where tanjiro was just overpowering an upper moon, sure took me by surprise, also the VA of Gyutaro is amazing too.
Gyutaro's design has been deliberately created to deliver that stark contrast against Uzui's. His two bloody sickles against Uzui's twin blades. The emaciated and scarred look vs Uzui's full and unblemished physicality. Even the arm bands enforce that comparison - the rusty, red bands vs. Uzui's flamboyant gold ones. Excited to watch the battle ahead!!

Gyutaro is honestly a badass character. He is the most underrated Upper Moon for me and got some sick Blood Demon Art plus his character design seems crazy. Great character
Nah Gyutaro's got a pretty good backstory at least. Some upper moons like the vase demon who I can't even remember the name of doesn't even have a backstory that's how pathetic their story is. So Gyutaro is definitely one of the better ones.

I loved the theme for gyutaro gotta be honest I wasn't expecting much because at the time I hadn't read the manga as soon as he was introduced I knew he would be a menace and the shit of the sickles flying through the air with the music and tanjiro going. "What the belt demon didn't use sickles" I knew everyone was fucked
its because he used to get bullied of how ugly and weak he was while his sis was very beatyful 1 day she burned and the only one to save her was to turn her into a demon he was already very skilled at fighting.
To be honest, I really like Gyutaro’s character. He and his sister reminds of the Kamado siblings, if they had turned to the dark path. Tanjiro’s kind, generous personality really contrasts to Gyutaro’s greedy, selfish personality. As for Nezuko, her kind pure-hearted personality really contrasts to Daki’s, rude cruel-hearted personality. Both Tanjiro and Gyutaro cared greatly for their younger sisters, and if the demon siblings hadn’t lead such an unfortunate life, I could genuinely see them living a happier one, just like Tanjiro and Nezuko…
Gyutaro literally kills people just to eat and so his sister can enjoy herself, he did it all for Daki. He deems the privileged people a threat because a privileged person took away his sister in his previous life.
Tanjiro had a family who loved him thats why hebhas strong morals. Gyuutaro and dakis mom hated them. Daki said it before "ppl are sold like merchandise around here" which is why they treat ppl that way
Noone gave him a chance except his sister he just wouldn't leave anyone harm her the way he wishes all he did was just for her he even tried keeping her away from hell but she just wouldn't have it he promised he'll never leave her again

The OST are such an art themselves. There are things that just músic can't produce but moments like 1:43 gives you a feel which, you just can't describe or feel in"normal" music
Tanjiro realising that there must be a new demon was funny and scary at the same time as you knew this demon had to be so much stronger than daki and everyone was fucked
Gyutaro was the perfect example of a well-written villain, a ruthless and vicious bastard and at the same time a caring and loving big brother. Ryōta Ōsaka truly outdid himself when voicing him. *"When humans grieve, they look up to the sky. You know, so their tears don't overflow..."*
One thing Demon Slayer always delivers wonderfully with its already epic anime is that the background theme of every main heroes or villains . All of these characters have their own unique theme music which is soooo perfect. My best theme so far is Rengoku theme, whenever I hear I get goosebumps...manh 🔥.

1:43 is my favorite part. When I first heard it I oddly enough thought of a Christmas like song mixed with epic music portraying a fight in the snow between two hated rivals.
Honestly one of the best designs of any demons I have seen in this so far, so chilling and inhuman. His intro also sent chills up my spine, have to thank both Daki's and Gyutaro's VA's for that. So damn flashy. Also the theme is really fitting. Cant wait to see what they do with the other Upper Moons!
demon slayer has such amazing villains, gyutaro is definitely my favorite. but kokushibou, douma and akaza are all close behind they’re sooooo good. character designs are all 10/10
Literally everything about gyutaro just screams unsettling, from design to his a amazing voice that manages to shift for comforting when talking to daki to straight up scary when talking to tengen to his ost that sounds eerie and threatening
This theme gives a very badass, horrifying, evil-sounding and just flat-out pure evil aura until this part plays 1:41 and makes you stop and say... OH WOW THATS SO BEAUTIFUL!! WTF?! ❤ Then this part brings the horror aura again 3:38
Gyutaro, my favorite of the upper ranks. He’s very relatable to me. I was born with what some might call, deformation. I have scars all over my torso from the surgery that kept me alive as a baby, as well as 2 broken fingers I or my family can’t afford to fix. And I was made fun of most my life for them. As a result for a very long time I shared Gyutaro’s mindset in episode 7 when he first met Tengen. Negatively judging people before even getting to know them, only based off their looks. Because people did the same towards me, that’s all I knew. Jealous and envious of other’s good looks and flawless bodies as well. Just like Gyutaro I started fighting (I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and became the second best in my class, no one in the whole class except one guy could beat me, he only showed up once every blue moon) nobody made fun of my deformity while I was there out of fear of what I could do to them. And it was nice while it lasted. I stopped attending classes to focus on school, I wasn’t book smart In the slightest and was struggling. Without combat sports to elevate my self confidence, the drama and bullying of school got to my head and I went right back to square one. I’m joining the USMC and thankfully I’m starting to get out of the Gyutaro mindset I mentioned earlier. Hopefully will meet people in there that will restore my faith in humanity and show me amazing, kind, selfless people do in fact exist.
I absolutely loved Gyutaro's introduction. We all thought that Daki was Upper Moon 6, and that the squad had figured out how to beat her. But Tengen said, "You're not the one I've been looking for", and sure enough, she began throwing a temper tantrum when her head fell off. When it occurred to Tengen that she hadn't disintegrated upon being decapitated, this eerie, haunting music began playing, and when she shouted "ONI-CHAAAAAANNNNN!!!" Chills. All the way down my spine. Then Gyutaro first showed up, and when he sliced open Tengen's head as a result of his attack being *deflected*, it occurred to us that this guy is the true Upper Moon 6.
Not "we." I was never convinced Daki was the true Uppermoon 6 given by how her battle with Tanjiro and Nezuko was. It really hit the nail with Tengen blitz her out of nowhere. When Gyutaro presented himself accordingly, he was definitely the one.
When I first watched the show, I was disappointed with how Tanjiro was able to keep up with Daki. I was like, how did he almost get blitzed by Upper 3, but can somehow take on Upper 6? It doesn't make sense. And then Nezuko jumping in made me even more confused. Not only was she beating up Daki, but Daki even said her regeneration was GREATER than Upper Ranks. So is Nezuko suddenly on Akaza's level or something? That was my whole train of thought... Until Tengen came in and shut the whole fight down lol. The writers truly deceived us and it paid off masterfully, because Gyutaro's entrance was absolute hype.
Remember he became bad just because society refuse his presence n for being ugly .... But he had great emotions for his sister .... Fought like protector i love him .... Mantis
Gyutaro is one of my favorites in this show/manga when he showed up I was like LETS GO!! His voice and everything was what I imagined reading the manga.. it was so perfect.
That monologue when Daki and Gyutaro were speaking in unison Daki to Zenitsu and Inosuke and Gyutaro to Tengen and Tanjiro You can really feel the bloodlust in their voice and face
Imagine if Gyutaro was an Upper Moon alone. No sister to look after, nobody to be a role model to. Just pure power. Tengen and the trio would of 100% died...

I remember that beautiful music but it was during gyutaro used his blood demon art so its definitely his theme. and as a manga reader, I know that his character needs that beautiful part of the theme along with the scary part
One thing I noticed as you go further up the Demon ranks: the greater the rank, the more composed/less savage they become. Spoilers on the other Uppers, beware: Upper 1: Barely ever raises his voice, and even with a nightmarish face, is considered very dignified and majestic in his presence. Upper 2: A beautiful complexion and soft, charismatic personality. Walks and talks elegantly. Upper 3: An outspoken martial artist with a wonderfully-refined combat style, and mutual respect for the strong. Wild, but composed generally. Upper 4: A timid splitter-type that only reacts based on his primary emotions, like Fear and Anger. Goes apeshit when cornered. Upper 5: Pots, pots, pots. A repulsively-vain artist that will snap at the slightest criticisms, and will get even angrier if your art is better than his. Upper 6: A tantrum-throwing oiran who considers the ugly to be stains upon the world, and a constantly-upset, emaciated psychopath with blood sickles.
The author purposefully made the upper ranks 3-1 ignorant just so the slayers could win. Kokushibo was fucking around during the fight versus the pillars, He never encountered Tanjiro to ensure that Tanjiro wouldn't die which was rearranged by the author, Douma was apathetic and ignorant so he was toying with Inosuke and Kanao and Shinobu, and Akaza wasn't even taking the fight seriously with Rengoku, even when he was fighting Giyu and Tanjiro when he could kill them both from the start

Everything about Demon Slayer is a cut above. The story, is amazing, the art is phenomenal and beautifully animated, and the music just adds that extra oomph that every character can benefit from. Gyutaro is absolutely underrated, but his theme works to change that, all on its own.
Honestly, Gyutaro gives me the creeps more than Akaza, Douma and Kokushibo. He was already born deformed and becoming a demon has not only made him scarier, but more sadistic and bloodthirsty.

When he made his appearance I was thrilled to see what he look when animated I’ve never been so excited over an appearance but his. Also BIG props to the voice actor his voice is just down right terrifying and nasty and that just blends in with the whole look. This by far was my favorite episode to watch. Going onto his demon blood art it’s fucking badass like I can’t even explain where to start I’m just in live with every single little thing about Gyutaro. Pumped for the next episode to come out

*Minor spoiler alert* . . . . . . . . . . I really like how in the episode the beginning of this theme playing while Daki throws her tantrum offers such a stark contrast...on the one hand, Daki screaming and crying (and Uzui's immediate dumbfounded reaction) strike you as somewhat ridiculous and comical--but then the realization quickly sets in that something's wrong. She's not dying--her body's not crumbling...and you notice the low drawn out note in the background. Instantly the atmosphere shifts to something much more ominous, dark, and foreboding, as Uzui readies his blades once again, not daring to take his eyes off her for a single instant...and then she cries for her brother. The darkness itself seems to stir, and a grotesque, raspy groan can be heard amidst the sound of squirming, writhing flesh. Shit just hit the fan.

demon slayer has such amazing villains, gyutaro is definitely my favorite. but kokushibou, douma and akaza are all close behind they’re sooooo good. character designs are all 10/10
Literally everything about gyutaro just screams unsettling, from design to his a amazing voice that manages to shift for comforting when talking to daki to straight up scary when talking to tengen to his ost that sounds eerie and threatening
He has his priorities straight. Loving towards his sister and be a b-h to Tengen
This theme gives a very badass, horrifying, evil-sounding and just flat-out pure evil aura until this part plays 1:41 and makes you stop and say... OH WOW THATS SO BEAUTIFUL!! WTF?! ❤

Gyutaro, my favorite of the upper ranks. He’s very relatable to me. I was born with what some might call, deformation. I have scars all over my torso from the surgery that kept me alive as a baby, as well as 2 broken fingers I or my family can’t afford to fix. And I was made fun of most my life for them. As a result for a very long time I shared Gyutaro’s mindset in episode 7 when he first met Tengen. Negatively judging people before even getting to know them, only based off their looks. Because people did the same towards me, that’s all I knew. Jealous and envious of other’s good looks and flawless bodies as well. Just like Gyutaro I started fighting (I did Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and became the second best in my class, no one in the whole class except one guy could beat me, he only showed up once every blue moon) nobody made fun of my deformity while I was there out of fear of what I could do to them. And it was nice while it lasted. I stopped attending classes to focus on school, I wasn’t book smart In the slightest and was struggling. Without combat sports to elevate my self confidence, the drama and bullying of school got to my head and I went right back to square one. I’m joining the USMC and thankfully I’m starting to get out of the Gyutaro mindset I mentioned earlier. Hopefully will meet people in there that will restore my faith in humanity and show me amazing, kind, selfless people do in fact exist.

I absolutely loved Gyutaro's introduction. We all thought that Daki was Upper Moon 6, and that the squad had figured out how to beat her. But Tengen said, "You're not the one I've been looking for", and sure enough, she began throwing a temper tantrum when her head fell off. When it occurred to Tengen that she hadn't disintegrated upon being decapitated, this eerie, haunting music began playing, and when she shouted "ONI-CHAAAAAANNNNN!!!"
Chills. All the way down my spine. Then Gyutaro first showed up, and when he sliced open Tengen's head as a result of his attack being *deflected*, it occurred to us that this guy is the true Upper Moon 6.
Not "we."
I was never convinced Daki was the true Uppermoon 6 given by how her battle with Tanjiro and Nezuko was.
It really hit the nail with Tengen blitz her out of nowhere.
When Gyutaro presented himself accordingly, he was definitely the one.
When I first watched the show, I was disappointed with how Tanjiro was able to keep up with Daki. I was like, how did he almost get blitzed by Upper 3, but can somehow take on Upper 6? It doesn't make sense.
And then Nezuko jumping in made me even more confused. Not only was she beating up Daki, but Daki even said her regeneration was GREATER than Upper Ranks. So is Nezuko suddenly on Akaza's level or something?
That was my whole train of thought... Until Tengen came in and shut the whole fight down lol. The writers truly deceived us and it paid off masterfully, because Gyutaro's entrance was absolute hype.

I remember that beautiful music but it was during gyutaro used his blood demon art so its definitely his theme. and as a manga reader, I know that his character needs that beautiful part of the theme along with the scary part

One thing I noticed as you go further up the Demon ranks: the greater the rank, the more composed/less savage they become. Spoilers on the other Uppers, beware:
Upper 1: Barely ever raises his voice, and even with a nightmarish face, is considered very dignified and majestic in his presence.
Upper 2: A beautiful complexion and soft, charismatic personality. Walks and talks elegantly.
Upper 3: An outspoken martial artist with a wonderfully-refined combat style, and mutual respect for the strong. Wild, but composed generally.
Upper 4: A timid splitter-type that only reacts based on his primary emotions, like Fear and Anger. Goes apeshit when cornered.
Upper 5: Pots, pots, pots. A repulsively-vain artist that will snap at the slightest criticisms, and will get even angrier if your art is better than his.
Upper 6: A tantrum-throwing oiran who considers the ugly to be stains upon the world, and a constantly-upset, emaciated psychopath with blood sickles.

The author purposefully made the upper ranks 3-1 ignorant just so the slayers could win. Kokushibo was fucking around during the fight versus the pillars, He never encountered Tanjiro to ensure that Tanjiro wouldn't die which was rearranged by the author, Douma was apathetic and ignorant so he was toying with Inosuke and Kanao and Shinobu, and Akaza wasn't even taking the fight seriously with Rengoku, even when he was fighting Giyu and Tanjiro when he could kill them both from the start

If Gyutaro's theme is so eerie, I'm flamboyantly hyped for upper moon 1's theme and his animation.
Everything about Demon Slayer is a cut above. The story, is amazing, the art is phenomenal and beautifully animated, and the music just adds that extra oomph that every character can benefit from. Gyutaro is absolutely underrated, but his theme works to change that, all on its own.
To think Daki was the weakest uppermoon but to realize that the real uppermoon 6 was gyutaro and his overwhelming power

Honestly, Gyutaro gives me the creeps more than Akaza, Douma and Kokushibo. He was already born deformed and becoming a demon has not only made him scarier, but more sadistic and bloodthirsty.

When he made his appearance I was thrilled to see what he look when animated I’ve never been so excited over an appearance but his. Also BIG props to the voice actor his voice is just down right terrifying and nasty and that just blends in with the whole look. This by far was my favorite episode to watch. Going onto his demon blood art it’s fucking badass like I can’t even explain where to start I’m just in live with every single little thing about Gyutaro. Pumped for the next episode to come out

I really like how in the episode the beginning of this theme playing while Daki throws her tantrum offers such a stark contrast...on the one hand, Daki screaming and crying (and Uzui's immediate dumbfounded reaction) strike you as somewhat ridiculous and comical--but then the realization quickly sets in that something's wrong. She's not dying--her body's not crumbling...and you notice the low drawn out note in the background. Instantly the atmosphere shifts to something much more ominous, dark, and foreboding, as Uzui readies his blades once again, not daring to take his eyes off her for a single instant...and then she cries for her brother.
The darkness itself seems to stir, and a grotesque, raspy groan can be heard amidst the sound of squirming, writhing flesh.
Shit just hit the fan.
