The hard work of Jim Chalmers our federal treasurer is just now getting the country pointed in the right direction. Thankyou Jim for putting the brakes on corporate entanglement into government money streams. Now we have to reverse this conservative "back scratching" and place the wealth of this country back into the hands of the common citizens i.e. Commonwealth of Australia not the "Corporate Till of Australia" where the conservative opposition is happy to replenish.

The problems started years ago with low interest rates encouraging people to borrow to the maximum, now blame on the government but not our actions, situations change all the times, .

How many taxes does this government want to take? we can ill afford the taxes we already pay we are amongst the highest countries that pay the most taxes and the highest taxes in the world. Where is all this money going And why are we a trillion dollars into debt ? (considering the amount of taxes we pay) Our government need to look at their government spending and budget it before introducing another tax on the people.

Socialaristocratic now! It is urgent that Australia votes establishment. Socialoligocracy does not adapt adequately to tecnofeudalism. It IS of vital importance to agonistically utilizé the institutionality to legislate a new socialaristocratic constitution to protect establishment.

Labor has made mistakes over the last three years and could and should have done some things better. But anyone thinking that the rot started under Labor, think again. We've had 9 years of Liberal government during which inflation went up, interest rates just started to go up, the housing crisis didn't start only three years ago and so on. Of course it is in Sky's interest to put the blame on Labor but anyone who values fair and unbiased reporting sees right through that.

Really was it that bad? Except for Covid which was awful, I’m in Victoria under 9 years of Labour, most locked down city in the world and we are debt up to our eyeballs, so keep lying to yourself

@Aussie-Nan yes it was that bad. Scott Morrison was the worst PM we have ever had. I am still waiting for their trials, for corruption. Labor have been a disappointment, but they have been fixing a lot of LNP dodgyness. Not being in Victoria I really don't know what you went through during covid, but it did look bad. But even our Liberal government have questions to answer about how they handled covid. I do know all fines were cancelled and paid back. They are now starting to sort that whole debacle out. You don't matter to the LNP. If you don't sponsor them they don't care. Please tell me something positive that they did during their 9 years in power.

I think you all talk through your arses. Has Labor failed us, yes. Could they have done more, yes.
But you always miss the main reason why we are in this economic shit show, liberals
They started us down this road, probably 8 years ago, covid delayed it for 2 years, but it was always inevitable
There a duopoly, their only interest is themselves, not Australia. Vote both major parties out

Don't blame the current LNP for past sins. LNP now has a new leader who is focused on doing the best for Australia. Labor has a dictator and followers who are focused on destroying the country. All minor parties will never win anything as they are too far too small to and in-experienced win election on their merits. The biggest concern for most sensible Australians is that Labor may win as a minority government with the Greens and Teals directing and influencing Labor decisions. If you think it would be bad under LNP, then you really don't know anything about Australian politics.
