very subjective on being one of the best, have watched countless times growing up and it always reminds me of the deep hatred I have for Meet the Robinsons
I feel that Dreamworks has made Meet The Robinsons, it would have been more successful. Same with Treasure Planet. One of my favorite underrated Disney movies.
I don't think artistic intent should be compromised for the sake of homosexual representation. If one were to make a movie, kids or otherwise, it must be a natural element of the film or have some significance rather than just to appeal to that specific demographic.
Exactly. It also has to fit in with the general theme of the movie. Certain films are not compatible with homosexuilty. Sci fi horror, for example. Or post apocalyptic horror. Or history based movies. Or movies about certain cultures. Film producers need to realise the difference between gay relationships and normal ones. And the certain atmosphere they each bring with them into a movie.
@@I-like-cows No idea how homosexuality isn't compatable with scfi or apocalyptic horror lol. Ppl aren't just gonna turn straight because of a bad situation. Also by your logic, we shouldn't show normal relationships either in those scenarios.

@@Shockkings0714 yes actually. Relationships ruin the pace of horror movies. Unless they look natural and don't ruin the horror aspects. Which is impossible with homosexuilty. So yeah. Relationships in horror movies are not the best. Especially gay ones.
in which atoning for the sin of the world, put your full trust in Christ, and turn your life away from all sin, in other words, recognize your sin as an evil, and turn away from it
Its a sin to show younglings that decision that early in their life imo Charles... Ur cool cuz your a Batman fan and makes good opinions but everything gay related....... No its wrong
T+ I agree on. But LGB is a natural part of life, you don't choose to be gay, you are born that way. So if we don't show those three, we also shouldn't show heterosexual relationships, in general children should be shielded from love. Is that really something you want to teach your children? Do you really want them, to never understand falling in love?
Okay, the music cut off at the one minute mark and that startled me so much I had to do a double take. Also, I forgot that Mars Needs Moms existed. Meet the Robinsons haould have done better- it's well written and funny and fun. And I'm fine with Riley being straight, but I agree we shouldn't try pretending gay characters don't have a place in kids' media. Otherwise, they'll grow up and go to college and be mindblown in all sorts of good and bad ways. Also, I think of Gobber from the How to Train Your Dragon films as the first gay character in a kids film. But that's just me
Yeah I agree on the eternals just sucking cause that's what I think for lightyear But everytime someone gets asked about lightyear or when it first came out the kiss was the only thing talked about I swear which Makes me think 3 things 1. The movie was sooo bad there was nothing interesting on screen besides the kiss scene 2. The movie didn't have anything remotely memorable besides the kiss or 3. There "shoving" the kiss in your face like twitch ads lol like bro does anyone who watched the movie even remember what happened in that besides the kiss cause if not then that movie was so bad you could only focus ont the kiss
Just because she was shown liking a boy in the first movie, it doesn't necessarily mean she's straight. A lot of gay people go through a phase of thinking they like the opposite sex or trying to like it, or pretending to like it, etc... before finally accepting their real feelings. With the age that Riley was in the first movie, it would be right about the age that you're still figuring this stuff out. By the time of her age in the second movie, she'd be more sure.
I think gay characters are good but the culture needs boundaries - not boundaries against characters in films, but against selling hormones and cosmetic surgery to children. Once they can collectively concede to let children be taught only the necessary, clean basics in schools, once they can accept that conservative families deserve protection too ... then everyone will embrace gay characters as just part of media rather than distrusting children's content creators with their children's minds. It's just too spicy right now. Countries that outlaw queer behavior don't count, I have no problem with other countries being that way since it's not my business... though I wish the queers of those countries the best in finding their way in life
hey uh id appreciate it if you would use the word 'queer' in the future since it's a word that's been historically used to oppress and demean LGBT individuals and while it's being reclaimed. you just said a whole lot of stuff that is not great! I'm going to need some factual evidence for the "selling hormones and cosmetic surgery to children" claim because let me tell you. that stuff is a whole lot of fearmongering and not an actual lot of truth!
Meet the Robinsons was a marketing flop. That is definitely one of the best Disney movies ever
Sad fails...like Transformer ONE.
I enjoyed Meet the Robinsons as well. I am surprised that one flopped.

It really doesn’t matter. I just refused to listen to moral grandstanding from these hypocrites.

I saw this notification and had to double take after swiping it💀 title startled me
wild that they wanted to market a movie to an experience more reflective of the majority, probably in a sinister plan to generate a profit
Please tell me you're trolling
Wow, watch them learn
I always thought Riley was bi.
I appreciate you making this video! Much love!
That would be cool if it wasn't for Disneys track record
I liked Eternals 😞
🫂
It’s not as bad as everyone says but it definitely tried to do too much in one film imo
Shite only good thing was Jon Snow and Robb Stark
Jesus was crucified, crowned with thorns, and sentenced to death on a cross.
…okay?

It’s due to marketing costs and other expenses.
Sounds like disney needs to make there own LGBTQ show/movie thats as good as heartstopper
Disney needs to stop making gay characters in children's content.

Pushing back on gay characters in children’s content is not wrong.
Why does it matter? If they can show a straightness, why not gayness?
Yes it is. How is it any different if straight people kiss in a movie than if gay people do?
