I'm crying. I randomly came across your video and I am sitting here in tears. I just lost my Dad 3/13/23 and I am really leaning on my journal to help me through my grief process. I just want to say thank you. You inspired me to Journal about my Dad and it's okay to cry. ~ Shayne
Great big huggles!!! You will really appreciate what you put down about your mom, especially later in your life. Put down things when you remember them. God bless your heart sweety.
I’m so sorry you lost your mom so young. She was young, and you were too. My mom was 52 yrs old when she passed, and she died September 19th. This video brought back so much emotion, and she’s been gone 24 years. I have just found your channel, but thank you for sharing your journal. Your journal experience, has made me want to pick up journaling again.
I love the pages you've done for your mom. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sorry if that's hard to read. My mom's been struggling with cancer for over a decade. I am praying for you. Xo
I love your journaling style. I am sorry for your loss and yes journaling really helps. Much love❤. Need more flip through. I journal when I can or when I feel creative.
You are such an inspiration and THANK YOU for sharing! I have always wanted to journal and you have shown me that it doesn't have to be in a specific way. I am sorry for the loss of you mom but you are shining her light in your journals. Again; thank you for sharing.
This was so inspirational and vulnerable, thank you so much for sharing with us! The tribute page to your Mom was especially beautiful and emotional. Also, your cursive penmanship is absolutely stunning 😍 love your videos!
Keep on doing it…I love it when I have those few spare moments to just document all the stuff even if it’s just brain dumping or is just the really good stuff…it all matters.
Thank you for posting this. I’ve been looking for ways to document my life and be a “memory keeper”. Your video is so helpful. Thank you for sharing your heart with the world.
I’m so impressed with this journal. Not a junk journal, but the story of your 2022 life. After seeing this I will be looking at your Patreon program to get your printable. Thank you for sharing.❤
I am sooooo happy to see you came to Ecuador!!!! I am about 5 months late to this post but it fills me with joy to see the name of my country in your journal!! Qué chévere indeed 🎉!!!
I just stumbled across your channel when searching for creat8ve journaling and adore what is to me a fresh creative way to journal. Really enjoy seeing your talents and am hooked on watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing something so personal that inspires others. It has inspired me. ~Michelle 🇨🇦
I was randomly searching for journaling guidance here on YT and I came across this video. This is exactly what I needed. I am thinking about starting a couple different kinds of journals and I feel like this video can help me sort through what I was visualizing in my head. It is also helping me feel more comfortable about going with an open and freeform style so I can include pictures, clippings, stickers, doodles, etc. whenever I feel inspired to do so. Thank you for making this video. I especially appreciate when you spoke about the loss of your mother and showed how you are including her in your journaling. My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry that you are going through such a difficult loss. I was thinking of including notes about lost loved ones in one of my journals, so your video feels like a confirmation that I should do that. Thanks again for sharing this with us! I hope you are having a wonderful day. ☺
I'm so moved by your openness and vulnerability!! I'm a single mom of 2 and I'm almost 50 so this hit home quite a lot but in reverse. I'll be sure to document my thoughts better so my girls can read my journals and share in our memories. Your mom is so proud of you!!💝
Wow, your journal is beautiful. Seeing it, I instantly know we would be good friends! My heart goes out to you. You honor your mother by continuing this art form and sharing the passion you both shared with others. As a therapist, I am always recommending journaling for emotional processing and savoring positive moments to cultivate joy and gratitude. I lost my father suddenly in 2015. Life will never be the same, but it can still be beautiful. You have inspired me to create a journal just for preserving my memories of him, and letters I write to him on holidays and anniversaries. Thank you! I wish you continued healing.
This is my favorite journaling and creation channel of all time❤❤I can feel your journaling and memories in my home as well! You inspire me so much through your journaling! God Bless ! Sending you saltwater love ❤❤Aloha👌🤙🏽😘
I just kinda of randomly starting creative journaling and came to YT to get some ideas and came across this video. I am truly inspired. This was such an awesome video to watch. Thank you for sharing!
This style of journaling fits me perfectly. I’ve been trying to squeeze myself into the junk journaling model, and it keeps coming out like this! So glad I found your channel! I look forward to watching in the future and also the back episodes! So happy! 😊
Your way of journaling most resembles mine because I like a little visual interest, but I'm more interested in the writing. Only thing where we're different is that I'm a little categorized, so I have specific journals for different things. I have a Mourning Journal dedicated for my mom. I have an Insight Journal which is kinda like a commonplace book. I have a Planner Journal for regular life tidbits. I have a Financial Journal for keeping track of financial struggles and goals. I have a Reading Journal too. Just like grouping by interest. Enjoyed your video.
Those all sound great! I’ve started to divide mine up a little bit more this year and am enjoying it so far ☺️ I like your idea of a journal dedicated to your mom
This is so inspiring ♥️ thank you for your vulnerability it means so much because this is essentially why we journal, to reflect our memories, happy ones as well as painful. Anything that makes us who we are! So thank you 🥺
I just found your channel and connect so much with your own journey. I too lost my mom last year and my journal reflects my loss and how I continue life to honor her. This video has absolutely inspired me and certain I’m not alone.
Hi Kelsey! I've just recently discovered your channel and so appreciate you sharing - not only your art, but your heart as well. ... for me, this is what my creative journaling process is becoming like. I've very recently just started a youtube channel, but haven't shared my personal entries as I'm finding they are just too personal, but that's where I am in life right now ... processing. I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom - at such a young age too 💗 Love and hugs. Faith's Paper heART aka Nava.Sapphire
Wonderful video. Your style is very similar to mine. You inspire me to try new techniques to enhance my journaling. Congratulations on your new home. Happy New Year.🎉
I just found your channel and you are amazing. Thank you for sharing your creativity, passion and openness regarding your grief on the passing of your mother. I have always wanted to do something like this but never could keep the momentum going. Thank you so much for giving me new inspiration!🙏🏻❤️
I LOVE your journaling style, it's so inspirational. I will definitely borrow some ideas from this video. Your entries are so heartwarming and beautiful. This video has made me relax so much during a very bad day. Thank you for creating such amazing content ❤️
This is amazing. I only recently started memory keeping back in 2020 and even then my process is not what it is now. Definitely wish I had started sooner. It is awesome that you have 5 years that you can look back on! And the spreads are so beautiful!
Its so true about journalling being a healing process. Also, i cant believe i discovered your beautiful videos today of all days. Happy birthday Deanna 💕
Hi, I was wondering how you go about getting your photos in there. Are these prints that you send away for? Stickers you make? Maybe you have a photo printer of some kind at home? Thank you for the helpful info!
Hi Jenny, yes I print them at home, usually right from my phone. I make a collage using an app on my phone and then send to my at-home printer. Currently using an epson ecotank 8500, but previously I uses a canon selphy and loved it
I'm a new subbie as this video popped up in my feed. I really enjoyed it and the way you journal, i love creative journaling myself. I'm very sorry for the loss of your Mum, she was very young 🙏❤ I will enjoy watching your other videos. TFS
Yes it is often retrospective, but I also print all my photos at home (usually right from my phone), so I can also journal the day-of when the mood strikes :)
Greetings from Singapore. Your journal inspires me. It is very beautiful. Neat and beautiful. I love how you share the little details. Your page about your mom is very touching. Keep posting!
I use to dislike my handwriting too. Practicing handlettering and brushlettering really helped me. I also think our handwriting is beautiful just because it is uniquely ours!
I am the memory keeper in the family as most are just happy with pics on the phones…which is fine too. I did have one sister get upset because I had “early access” to go through our mom’s pics about five years before she passed away/. I only took my pics but left a couple of extra when possible in case any of them wanted them. I left all pics that were theirs although the few extras were nabbed by me. My mom knew i was a memory keeper and feared dying but wanted the memories to continue.

What a beautiful journal! What do you use to print your photos? I currently do printing at the library but looking to invest in something I can do at home. Thanks
For a long time I used a canon selphy. I now have an epson eco tank 8500 printer. Both are great options but the canon selphy is definitely more beginner friendly if you only need a printer for printing photos
Is this journal a larger one? I recall watching a video where the person ordered 8"x10" (approx) moleskin journals and challenged herself to document each day. That seemed like a fantastic idea (although I don't do much in one day) so I ordered the 3-pack of that size moleskin journals and have done absolutely......nothing. Nor with my Hobonichi Cousin Techo....or ummm....the TN (two sizes!!!!) Anyway, wanted to see if you were the person referenced above. I so enjoy your journals.
I did do two years where I journaled every day, once in 2018 and again in 2021, and have flip throughs here on my channel, so it might have been me? not sure! But I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. This journal is a moleskine XL cahier notebook :) linked in my amazon shop
I use my at home printer which is an epson ecotank 8500. I used a canon selphy for years and recommend it as a good beginner option if your at home printer isn't great at printing photos or uses too much ink
What is the difference in this journal and your regular journal? Is this journal a composition notebook? If so do you glue pages together? I am sorry for your loss. I loss my mom this past May. It is tough, but I know she is with God now.
This was my primary journal at the time. I mostly journal for memory keeping and occasionally reflection. And the journal is a moleskine cahier XL notebook. Linked in my Amazon shop

In the beginning of video looked like you were working on a mini journal and was clear too, do you have a link for that video about it?
I bought it from stationery pal. There's a haul on my channel where I share it :)

yes this is a Moleskine XL Cahier notebook

Hey how did you print those pictures out clearly? Normal printer?
I have an Epson ecotank 8500 printer and typically print on glossy or satin photo paper
good😍😍😍
Do you use a special printer to print your photos?
I use my at home printer which is an epson ecotank 8500. I used a canon selphy for years and recommend it as a good beginner option if your at home printer isn't great at printing photos or uses too much ink
What notebook did you use for this video flip through? Thank you!
