Yes normal car license even if you passed after 1997 you can now tow a caravan upto 3500kg as long as your car can tow the weight. So no restrictions on towing now.
Hy , I would like to buy a caravan but I'm confused with the legislation. If I have B and B1 category on my driving licence what kind of caravan I can tow ? Thanks

To keep you under 3500kg its looking like a max caravan weight of 1245KG. = 2255kg - 3500kg = 1245kg. You would just need to check with car manufacturer that your car is ok to tow with not having a max braked trailer weight. But if it can the 1245kg is maximum weight of caravan allowed.
