Thank you for the guide. I grew tired of looking for random spawns. This was easy to do with the Phoenix. I would peek around the corner of one of the buildings, take a few shots, then back up where I was hidden around the corner before his slam could knock me off. I repeated this a few times until one of the crushers died and I received the achievement.
Thanks for getting me to this hideout! I used my rocked launcher on both of them until their health was a slither, hopped in the Phoenix, then used the cruise missile to kill dig and dug.
Thanks for the guide! I, however was unlucky... Once while trying to repair my Phoenix he hurled it over the cliff, so I found the closest spot it would let me respawn it and went back, then almost had him dead and he hurled me AND the Phoenix over the cliff! Came back and finished them both off though and got my achievement! Thanks again!!
I just wore down the health on one of them to a sliver on foot with hand weapons, spawned a Phoenix over the other side of the fallen tree trunk, drove over and finished it with a couple of blasts of the Phoenix’s Gatling gun. Job done. 🙂
Guys this trophy is not missable even if you complete this mission, I spent two days looking for random spawn for the crusher but no luck and I this the game patched it. There another easy way, after you achieve all the trophies just start new game +, you will start it with all weapons, skills and cars, they will only reset the locations and missions, immediately navigate to the crusher location and do the same thing in the video and your trophy will pop up, no need to spend you whole life finding random spawn.
because him and powerdyx rush their videos to get them out first. because no matter how sloppy and half assed your video is, if it's first, it's first. smh
I agree weaken then kill with phoenix makes sense. Though remember this gentleman said he didn't know there are 2 crushers even though the mission says D and D and the objective says kill Digg AND Dugg. Facepalm.
U can call in the vehicle right before u get on the final moss covered log and save urself the trip if ur already at the crushers or dont want to platform with the vehicle as much.
It's not missable! :-) I stumbled onto the trophy accidentally. :-) There's this big huge crater down to the South east of Gun Barrel. I was driving around and accidentally drove my car into that crater to avoid being shot by the convoy going by. And sure enough there was a Crusher right there pounding on me. :-) it took about 1000 rounds to take it out with my Phoenix and the trophy popped. So I'm possibly understanding that the crusher can spawn in the map.
Yep he does respawn there. Because I got the other trophy where you had to kill seven of them. He spawns there every now and then. I got lucky and he was there like three or four times right in a row. In the last few times I had to wait for a little bit for him to come out but he does eventually. I just had to keep going back and forth and checking it every now and then. And sure enough it popped after seven of them.
Thanks.. I spent a good 3 hours checking spawn rounds and nothing, but I'm stuck offline. Fortunately I had a game save from last month so I was able to load it and kill them again. The easiest way to do it is fire your mortar if you have it. Only takes one shot to kill. I just need goon deleet to platinum but my game is stuck offline so I'm not sure how many I killed. The entire map is complete and everything done
Unfortunately, in my hate to get all the trophies, I've killed all the Abandon Mutant Crusheres without using the phoenix. Does this now mean I can get this trophy without starting all over again? Thanks for the video 😁👍
Hey guys I want to upgrade my Phoenix weapons... I have 50 parts so should I go for Cruise Missile, Hailfire or the 20mm Canon? Mainly I am gonna be using it for destroying Turrets.
You can farm this for the 7 abadon kills trophy.Just kill one and reload the autosave.I think the trophy guide for that one mapped out all 7 abadon locations when you could just farm this one a few times.Could this be done with the spy drones as well?I know that reloading an autosave will bring back one that has flown away but could it bring it back after you have just shot it down?If it did, would the game count it as a drone kill?Are the 30 kills tied to 30 unique drone kills or is it just about a counter?only one way to find out.
@@snowy165 if you look at the torns plains track on the map if you zoom in there's a small lake located just below it, drive along that lake and you will see the crusher chilling in the water
It's really fun but it's way to short. It's definitely up there with games I've had a lot of fun with though. Depending on your skill, I'd say it would take about 25-30 hours to 100%
To those (like me) who have spent countless hours wandering around looking for a random crusher. Don’t bother, I think the game has been patched because I haven’t encountered a single randomly spawned crusher and I’ve been playing this game now for well over a month.

Much easier accessible one in front of the MBTV entrance in the Torn Plains. Just fast travel so it'll reload the area, spawn point is random.

I was able to find a Mutant Crusher in 'White Stop' which is an open area. Much easier to access by vehicle.

Pro tip get out shoot with smart rockets untill health is low and finish off the Phoenix.

I found an abandon crusher that's not part of the 7 you showed and is out in the open so I think this one is meant for the trophy

once u get the hellfire mortar upgrade for the phoenix they are one shot thats what i did before i went there to kill them
