      @Moku Kiwala'o actually it was king kamehameha the 2nd who sold alot of the land, to the very same people who's descendants overthrew the kingdom. Funny how that little fact doesn't get mentioned along with the racism.

    • @The.Hawaiian.Kingdom
      @The.Hawaiian.Kingdom ปีที่แล้ว

      @@808gamerhawaii Really??? Wow that’s such an amazing feat for Kamehameha II… considering he DIED in 1824 & private land ownership wasn’t even made legal until 1848 after the 1840 constitution 🤔.
      Also, all plantations were on CROWN LANDS and *LEASED* , not sold, to plantation owners. Plantation owners were wary of purchasing land for their plantations because they weren’t sure how the crops they wanted to plant would grow _(crops bought by the US mainly)_ there was a lot of uncertainty when it comes to starting a business in a foreign country back then, especially when many of the plantation owners were proud racists who owned slaves on Plantations in the south of the US & really hated seeing brown people ruling a country and having power over them, plus there were the import fees that they, as Amerikkkans or Hawaiian Kingdom subjects who considered themselves Amerikkkan because their parents were Amerikkkan & Amerikkka recognizes dual citizenship (our Kingdom doesn’t), felt they shouldn’t be forced to pay.
      Government Lands could be purchased by foreigners (& anyone really), but of the 3630 government land sales, the vast majority were purchased by HAWAIIANS (over 80%), not foreigners and even amongst those sales to foreigners, a lot of them were life estates, less than allodial, meaning the buyer only owned it for his/her lifetime or for a designated amount of time, for instance there’s a haole who got a life estate for 299 years, wherein he was able to pass the land down to his heirs (or whoever) but the land reverted back to the government, regardless of who owns it at the time, after those 299 years are up _(but grants for that long a period of time were rare)_ … many of the sales of government lands to foreigners were for cattle ranching, as despite brainwashing and whitewashed insurgent based “history” books, cattle ranching, not plantations, were the main economy pre-illegal overthrow. Whaling was huge still and whalers would stop in our Kingdom on the way to or from the Aleutian Islands to restock, salted beef being the most sought after item. It wasn’t until 1872 when William Penn discovered petroleum that whaling began to decline, but still sugar (plantations) still didn’t become a dominant economy until decades later… what else happened decades later you might ask… an illegal insurgency by those same plantation owners, illegally supported by an illegal invasion by the U.S.. And then those illegal insurgents create a fraudulent government and change the land laws to benefit themselves and other CAUCASIAN foreigners, while creating laws to disenfranchise and oppress minorities. How did they change land laws to benefit themselves you might ask… well they illegally changed their leases to sales. You see the Paulet affair brought forth a very important fact, if ever our Kingdom should come under foreign control, international law protects private owned land, but not public lands. Our Kings lands (Crown Lands, now incorrectly called Ceded Lands) were public lands, so he sought to have his lands turned into private lands, which he did. Now only government lands are public, so if we came under control of a foreign power, they could only take possession of public lands, so now 2/3 of the Kingdom lands were protected. Then later after his death in a land dispute the court made it to where the lands remain private property and were only inheritable by a sitting monarch and said lands were to be handled in the same way forever more… subject of course to the rights of native tenants, because Hawaiians have rights to all lands, even private property, still to this day, a Hawaiian has the legal constitutional RIGHT to enter, cross, forage in any private or public property, interestingly it’s even in the fraudulent “states” constitution. Sooo anyways, the “provisional government” turning their leases of private property into sales AND allowing other foreigners to purchase the private property of another’s, is a violation of international law.
      Prior to the illegal overthrow, not many foreigners actually OWNED land, it wasn’t until AFTER the illegal overthrow, when the insurgents and the U.S. violated international law to sell private property, that foreigners (the vaaaaaast majority of which were Amerikkkans) began purchasing a lot of our land. So no, you are thoroughly and completely wrong… on essentially everything you commented. Also, it’s a violation of international law for Amerikkka to even allow Amerikkkans in our country btw. You may want to look up what violations of international law are called, because everything haoles have done since 1-17-1893 fits that.
      And if you want to talk about racism in Hawai’i, talk about the whites only riffle club that the insurgents who became the provisional government were a part of, the same club they later hired to HUNT AND KILL HAWAIIANS after the illegal overthrow… or how they hired a kkk grand dragon from Alabama to write fraudulent accounts of “Hawaiian History” to instill racial shame on Hawaiians, along with banning the Hawaiian language, Hawaiian cultural practices, and FURTHER desecration of our sacred sites. The Hawaiian Kingdom has laws against slavery (while Amerikkka was still practicing it), we had a law granting slaves freedom and instant citizenship to our country if they could get here (all of whom who took us up on this offer, were slaves in Amerikkka), we never had any race based citizenship requirements (unlike the US) who had race based citizenship requirement well beyond any other western countries.
      Educate yourself.

      By what means and authority is Hawai’i a state of the US?
      1. The Hawaiian Kingdom gained international sovereign recognition in 1843 making it a legal country & from that second in the only legal way to “takeover” The Hawaiian Kingdom is through a treaty, signed by both parties, not while under duress and not protested by its people. There is no treaty wherein The Hawaiian Kingdom relinquished its sovereignty to the U.S. or anyone because the US illegal attempt to allow insurgents to sign a treaty was almost universally contested by Hawaiians in the Ku’e petitions. Therefore the already illegal treaty between the insurgents & the US was not ratified (approved).
      2. The US claims to have later annexed The Hawaiian Kingdom via a joint resolution, but a joint resolution is just as domestic US congressional act, US law, and it has no power or jurisdiction beyond the borders of the US, it can’t be used to annex a foreign country. That’s why the US had to acquire Texas through the Guadalupe Hidalgo treaty with Mexico after the previous attempt of a joint resolution to acquire Texas failed.
      3. The “statehood vote” was fraudulent because The Hawaiian Kingdoms sovereignty was never relinquished or extinguished and because ONLY AMERICANS WERE ALLOWED TO VOTE, Hawaiians were banned from voting on it, there was a requirement that you must be an American citizen to vote.
      And if you still want to debate this, The International Association of Democratic Lawyers and The National Lawyers Guild, both highly reputable, prestigious and credible international law organizations with members from around the globe who are the utmost experts on international law, both agree that the Hawaiian Kingdom exists in CONTINUITY, albeit ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED by the US.

    Now, at the same time, it appears that this is just a homeless guy, sleeping in his car, trying to stop anyone from using the area by virtue of his race. The fat lady with tats, that he probably did hurl racist slurs at, hardly looked like she was there for commercial activities.

    Makua is sacred Hawai'i beyond words and more sacred than most will ever know or realize. People need to regulate I applaud his efforts too I have done the same as a passionate haole Hawaiian :) Makua is sacred to me I have spread ashes in those waters with fellow Hawaiian friends and ashes of those I loved there too. I have been spending time in her loving arms for 15 years now. It is not right what people are getting away with throwing things off balance so badly. Whether it's chasing dolphins....burning palettes....rubbish all over the beach...illegal camping I have seen it all. Just because you can go doesn't mean you should. Leave some spots sacred for those that call it home. I have SO much love for that side I hope I die and take my last breathe at Makua that would make me happy. Aloha bruddah keep doing you Hawaiian. 👊🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

      @@hmmmm.3899 Correct. Prior to that Hawai’i had a thriving agriculture economy, being the worlds top suppliers of banana, mango and papaya. Until the US took millions in payment (I believe it was $20 million) from GMO companies to be allowed to test and research in Hawai’i, which caused our crops to become GMO contaminated, which caused us to lose our export contracts with foreign countries because they didn’t allow the importation or sale of GMO or GMO contaminated crops. Then the “state” pushed tourism on us.
      When we were an agriculture economy, almost all locals owned their own homes, there were hardly any instances of homelessness & drug use and it wasn’t overcrowded. The “states” promotion of Hawai’i brought in outsiders and created a romanticized image of Hawai’i that caused a boom in “tourists-turned-residents” that has never stopped or slowed down… all of this chaos and destruction because the US took a $20 million paycheck to FURTHER ruin our lives. And that’s not even mentioning the huge increase in cancers and birth defects the GMO companies have caused.
