You are the best!!!!!
Made my day, week and month!
God bless!
@@chasingfrets - will do. I have taken your advice and have tried to learn and incorporate techniques, from whatever lesson i'm working on gradually..
Hoping when you have the time for 2 more Steeler requests...
On the Rox ... and Hot on your Heels!
thx.
Damn, awesome playing and lesson 👏🙏
No había visto esa linda guitarra en el canal, un saludo
Yes I got it recently, it's a Squier standard strat, I'm happy with it, good playing guitar all in all, thanks, saludos!
I remember when I wrote this and I had it in a cassette in my car and someone stole it. Next thing I know I heard it on the radio...
Hahaha, man you just can't catch a break , first they stole your Smoke on the water riff now this
@@chasingfrets I didnt mind Smokegetting stolen because it was just a warm up and I was embarrassed to show it to any1 anyway
@@JohnProph Hahahaha yeah, plus you don't wanna be known as the dude who's riff got so many people kicked out from guitar stores, thank God you didn't came up with Stairway to haven intro
@@chasingfrets yeah, never be able to live that one down.
u get a new guitar?
Awesome bro! Just a suggestion…Malmsteen’s In the Dead of Night Solo would be a good one.
Wow!!!!
what about the picking? Hybrid? It's the most important part to play fast..
There's no hybrid picking in this solo. Yngwie uses mostly economy picking when ascending and his 'down-up- pull off' technique to tackle 3 note per string descending runs, also lots of legato licks as well. Hybrid picking is quite effective for super fast playing, Tom Quayle is a good example for that style and it sounds amazing
Vinnie Moore was in a band called Vicious Rumors, but vinnie moore has a lot of solo albums which he often uses the same neoclassical licks that have note groupings. You should try to do some vinnie moore video lessons that have a lot of neoclassical licks in his solos. LA guns song named sticky fingers has neoclassical licks in it would like a video lesson about that.
Hey man I know you already did suffer me and I learned the whole thing from you ;) but I was wondering if u can do the live 1984 version with alcatrazz it’s such a better version of the solo, most of the licks are the same I feel just some phrasing differences , my ear isn’t the best so ur videos are the reason I’ve gotten better at the guitar thanks again man
I'll keep it in mind, I have a lot on my plate right now in terms of preparing new lessons so maybe for some future video, I'll see, cheers!
@@chasingfrets all good man thanks again for responding! You’re a gem to the guitar community you’re talents and willingness to share it makes me grateful more than you can imagine
Thanks! Please, is it humanly possible to play the intro riff of "The Cosmic Algorithm" by Epica"? If so, please, teach us!
