These people do not communicate at all and will not listen to your call outs. They might have a but buddy duo friend who won't let you kick him. The Smurf: He will never be on your team and will brag about how you all suck. The Guy Who Only Uses One Gun: Oh and this is not any normal gun, it will always be an smg or a shotgun, they won't buy anything else but this gun, even if they have 16000$. The Good Silver Players: These guys have at least 350 hours and 100 wins and know what they're doing, but get all the players listed above in their games, so they never get to rank up.
Here is the thing, Some people in silver are quite good at the game but they got stuck down in the lower ranks because they weren't the best player in there opening games, And then just when they are on a 5 win streak going good, someone smurfing which is like everymatch comes in a ruins there day and rankup

I usually have shit teammates and I have to carry, the thing is that when there is a smurf on the other team I have to juggle between babysitting my team and trying to kill the smurf. I usually only get aces against REAL silvers. EDIT: I am now GN1, I have found good people to with, not as good as me but very close.

Knowing what you did wrong is the first step from getting rekt to getting gud. I spent at least 350 hours on DM (both 64 and 128 tick) and watching TH-camrs, Pros, and tutorials. I've spent the other 600 or so in Competitive and learning the game through competitive. I went from being new and bad to experienced and just a little bit good :D

Although when I started to take it seriously and 'git gud' I began actually performing well and ranking up followed. Gold Nova Master now though, so those days are long gone :(
I already gotten gud playing CS 1.6 and Source way back in the day. I only had to make slight adjustments to make the transition to CSGO. I have only 100-something hours and I'm now MGE. Thank god, because playing with silvers looks annoying as fuck
See I never played 1.6 or Source (such a nub I know) and so I had the ordeal of learning what is a CS. I'm 235 hours GNM, shitty I know but it's been the last 100-odd hours I've actually put my all into learning how to git gudder. I've been on a good streak in GNM so I reckon I'll be MG1 soon enough and well hopefully above and beyond. Hopefully. Only time will tell. Seriously though I enjoyed Silver as much as people give it shit. The terrible players and the terrible play; it was a good laugh with friends who were in the same boat as me (new to CS).

If you are a silver.. whether you tell yourself you're there because you choose to be or not, you suck at csgo. There is no reason for a decent cs player to be stuck at silver, there just isn't. A decent player would have a hard time staying as a silver, solo queuing without getting kicked repeatedly for not trying. And why would a decent player want to play against noobs anyway, that doesn't sound like a player I want on my team.
I have a smurf, I can't keep it under dmg because if I solo queue and fuck around I get kicked and end up with a cool down and when I play with friends (the point of the smurf) they know my abilities so they expect the win often enough to keep my rank far above silver. Unless you have a group of friends who are willing to let you play like shit every match, which is highly unlikely, there is no way to keep a rank down that low for a decent player. Either you aim and always hit what you're aiming at like any decent player or you get kicked for throwing. You're delusional if you think you can keep up with decent players when you're "stuck" at silver. If you're so sure, get an new account and prove it, or just be content with being terrible at cs.. Or, join a league and play a real match of cs. Open leagues are free, good servers. and even open has the odd main caliber player. You'll come across better players in open leagues than you will at global elite mm. I've never come across a decent silver rank player, ever, not even close.

Unranked Competitive isn't fun, I have played it and after 10 times winning, I got Silver IV (Is that good for the first time getting a rank?) and now I don't get weird people anymore. I actually get coordinating people. For example when I first played it, I got saved by someone and he said ''I just saved your fucking ass be thankful!'' and his 3 friends (Queueing with him) said ''Lol he is such a noob we should kick him.'' ''He is the worst doesn't even know how to use P90'' ''The fact that he even uses P90 shows him that he sucks'' that was my first match. I quit CS:GO after the match ended and I never played it after. Until a few weeks ago when I picked it up again. I am now a S4 and am really proud of that even though it is one of the lowest ranks.

Top 3 Reasons silvers are salty: #1 99 percent of cheaters play in silver. If you have a great rank you wouldn't risk losing your account. #2 Most the people you play against are not new to the game. I thought low silver rank is reserved for new people to the game. I was wrong. And look here your a pro playing in silver... stupid. #3 The ranking system makes no sense. I go 30 kills and low deaths a high percentage of the time. Also to let everyone know. If you play with higher ranked people you will rank up a lot faster. That's how most pros get out of silver. They can't handle cheaters either so in a way they cheat the system. I had a friend that was Global Elite Let me tell you win or lose when I played with him I ranked up. IN conclusion most pros are not even better than 50 percent of csgo players. They just have the contacts to get away from cheaters and play matches with similar skill people. If your playing in silver, your almost never actually playing silver skull players. The ranking system is a joke. ps2 games had better ranking systems.

If you are a silver.. whether you tell yourself you're there because you choose to be or not, you suck at csgo. There is no reason for a decent cs player to be stuck at silver, there just isn't. A decent player would have a hard time staying as a silver, solo queuing without getting kicked repeatedly for not trying. And why would a decent player want to play against noobs anyway, that doesn't sound like a player I want on my team.
+James Sweeper Some people stay in silver even though they clearly have a higher skill than them, because it makes the game easy for them, aka SMURFS.
I have a smurf, I can't keep it under dmg because if I solo queue and fuck around I get kicked and end up with a cool down and when I play with friends (the point of the smurf) they know my abilities so they expect the win often enough to keep my rank far above silver. Unless you have a group of friends who are willing to let you play like shit every match, which is highly unlikely, there is no way to keep a rank down that low for a decent player. Either you aim and always hit what you're aiming at like any decent player or you get kicked for throwing. You're delusional if you think you can keep up with decent players when you're "stuck" at silver. If you're so sure, get an new account and prove it, or just be content with being terrible at cs.. Or, join a league and play a real match of cs. Open leagues are free, good servers. and even open has the odd main caliber player. You'll come across better players in open leagues than you will at global elite mm. I've never come across a decent silver rank player, ever, not even close.

Unranked Competitive isn't fun, I have played it and after 10 times winning, I got Silver IV (Is that good for the first time getting a rank?) and now I don't get weird people anymore. I actually get coordinating people.
For example when I first played it, I got saved by someone and he said ''I just saved your fucking ass be thankful!'' and his 3 friends (Queueing with him) said ''Lol he is such a noob we should kick him.'' ''He is the worst doesn't even know how to use P90'' ''The fact that he even uses P90 shows him that he sucks'' that was my first match. I quit CS:GO after the match ended and I never played it after. Until a few weeks ago when I picked it up again. I am now a S4 and am really proud of that even though it is one of the lowest ranks.
GameCommentaryMakerz Anything past Silver 2 is good if you've never played any CS game. I got Silver 3 when I became ranked, but in my opinion a first-time GOOD first rank is Gold Nova 1+.

Top 3 Reasons silvers are salty:
#1 99 percent of cheaters play in silver. If you have a great rank you wouldn't risk losing your account.
#2 Most the people you play against are not new to the game. I thought low silver rank is reserved for new people to the game. I was wrong. And look here your a pro playing in silver... stupid.
#3 The ranking system makes no sense. I go 30 kills and low deaths a high percentage of the time.
Also to let everyone know. If you play with higher ranked people you will rank up a lot faster. That's how most pros get out of silver. They can't handle cheaters either so in a way they cheat the system. I had a friend that was Global Elite Let me tell you win or lose when I played with him I ranked up. IN conclusion most pros are not even better than 50 percent of csgo players. They just have the contacts to get away from cheaters and play matches with similar skill people. If your playing in silver, your almost never actually playing silver skull players. The ranking system is a joke. ps2 games had better ranking systems.

Silver is legit hell, it takes so long to get out of, it took me ages to get out of it due to bad team mates or me playing like shit or something. Once I got out of silver I had no problem ranking up when I play well and deranking when I played like shit
