Put antiseize on the threads of that bead breaker, let the oil dry out of the antiseize so it becomes semi solid and semi permanent, so that the antiseize will not come off on your hands and you will have a tool that will last a lifetime. It usually takes a week for antizeize to get firm and become permanent. I use this method on all of my pullers and clamps. Food for thought for those of you who fabricate, the antiseize on C-clamp threads, pipe extension clamp threads and vise grip threads, it keeps any welding spatter from sticking to the acme threads and with the antiseize in place, the antiseize still conducts electricity. Thanks for an informative video. I have been thinking about dropping the money on one of those harbor freight bead breakers, because I can't see spending serious money on something since I am retired and rarely turn wrenches anymore. I was a master journeyman diesel and heavy equipment mechanic for 35 years. Anyway, thanks again for sharing the information
Being a Harbor Freight thing, I'd bet if you took it apart a little, cleaned it, sanded some surfaces, and lubed it, it would probably work 30% better or so.
works better with a little soapy water to help it move and those bead breakers don't hold up to impact use or at least my first 2 didn't. I just use a breaker bar
It's like too much money, there's no such thing It's like a girl too pretty with too much class Being too lucky, a car too fast No matter what they say, I've done But I ain't never had too much fun

That tire is brand new and just been mounted. I'd like to see it work on a tire thats been on the tractor for 40 plus years!
When I pull another tire off to change it i will be sure to let you know how it goes
Quite ok! I checked out a few other posts and I was impressed with there results. I ordered one. Thanks. Sorry for my being a sceptic.
