Huh, that’s funny, I’m building an Mbx6 now. I’m a budget racer so I don’t have the ability to buy new. In a lot of ways I like that I can choose so many parts myself, so I look to places like this for info and good solid advice. I guess I’ll keep my rear arms! Thanks Again Adam! 🏆🏆🏆
Great video explaining the setup. JQ in his video comparing an MBX8 vs a Kyosho MP points the rear pivot width out. Would be nice to try unfortunately essentially impossible to find the rear C and D blocks. Will have to wait until Mugen releases these “prototype” blocks along with arms and inserts.
Another very informative video, Mr King aka ambassador 👏 and as a mugen owner I love the fact that mugen gives you alot of tuning options, I also love my teknos but when asked, what's my favorite, hands down it's my mugens, because of the wide variety of upgrades and tuning options! Mugen mafia 4 life, 😁
I smell MBX8-R or MBX9 update. I think the new car next year will have longer rear arms. It's been a common trend to reduce rear arms length in the last few years, but manufacturers tend to forget not all tracks are super wide, high grip, high speed like in the US. I come from Italy and trust me, the way we make rc tracks here is completely different from your style. My local track has a width of around two buggies, it's very tight, very technical, very dusty and bumpy. Not all tracks in Europe are like so, but the general idea is the same.
@@AdamDrakejust now seeing this as I’ve pulled out my 3- MBX6 E buggies and MBX7. Going through my parts I have at least 4-new sets of 6 arms in packages and another 2 or 3 that appear new (assuming they are), as well as the ones on buggies barely used. So if I have this many, I bet there are many others floating around…

I think it would be cool if you put together a video showing some of your favorite / trickest prototype parts over the years.
always love your vids good to see ya always talking about upgrades and new stuff your using keep up the great work brother

I believe the blocks are available from 1Army.
I loved my MBX6. After a few upgrades it was great to drive. Just waiting to get my MBX8 after 8 years out of RC.
:)

Nice video, again👍 This is a really good option. Now we still need adjustable front upper arm lenght, then it's going to be epic💪
Agreed!
do the wheel hexes that come on the MBX8T work on a 6T? The 6T ones are extended. The new ones on 8T arent. Thanks

@@AdamDrake Can you tell us something more about the upcoming car (if there is one) for next year's IFMAR championship?
Thanks !! Adam 😎
Mbx-6 a-arms are available but they are in a shipping container off the coast of California I'm guessing lol. RPM if nothing else they will make them
Hi Adam! Is it possible to use the MBX8 rear hubs with the MBX6 arms?
Yes, but you do need to ream the outer rear hinge pin hole on the arm for the 3.5mm pins.
Sick ! Think I still have enough mbx6 parts to try this out
Very cool. The MBX6 arms are like gold.

I wonder if the RC car manufacturers take suspension harmonics into consideration.
Somone got a link for one army?
