Yes, I love using half tart (green), half sweet (red) apples in all my apple baking! It rounds out the filling and flavour of the apple without being overly one way or the other. And you can always add other things in if you want to enhance the tart/sweet flavours (like more lemon or more sugar/honey). My go-to is an apple and rhubarb pie or cake.

All natural light! We intentionally picked a floor plan for our house that had plenty of windows and natural light 💛
