    *8:00** At the time it was Jason Belmonte's 1st major, however in 2015, the PBA Players Championship was retroactively given major status, as of such his actual first major was his 4th career title, which was his 2011 PBA Elite Pepsi Players Championship!*
    You are a very underrated TH-camr and your uploads have been wonderful too! 👍

      @@OneHandedBowling Nice okay, I think it would be very cool to go year by year and to make a compilation of every single title matches in that year, moreso like a breakdown of the most thrilling title matches of that year.
      It can either be done in chronological order, or based on your personal rank system on which is best!

      @@Lexzim9098 thats a great idea! I might make that after belmo titles pt2 bc that would be a ton of footage to look through.

      @@OneHandedBowling Also around about 10:00, I think you missed out the 2014 USBC Masters, which also had Belmonte and Tackett battling it out; same scenario as the 2014 Oklahoma Open!
      Edit: Okay my bad you did include it at 15:21! 👍

    I'd like everyone to know, Sean Rash my might be Belmo's biggest rival, but in the end, Sean was the driving force behind Belmo's rise to goat status! They disliked each other at first but that powered both of them to become the best bowlers they could be!

      Facts, as great as Belmo is, Sean rash is a beast for his own. Sean was the first to bowl multiple 300 games (2 games) on live TV before Belmo did I think 3 times. Then I think Wes Malott hit 2 300 games in one PBA season before Belmo too. I’d feel like Sean would have at least 3 majors and 10 titles if wasn’t for Belmo. He’s as good as EJ

      Mike DeVaney talking shit right before that elite players championship was also a driving force for Belmo, you know that one was also a special title for him.

      I’ll tell you what Jason is my favorite and he has been since he came up. He is exactly who I modeled my game after but being someone that has bowled on those oil patterns for a long time, the fact that rash shot 300 on wolf with no urethane is just absolutely monumental. That is the hardest pattern I’ve ever bowled on up there with the U.S. Open 40 feet flat 1:1

    Two handed bowling ruined the sport of bowling. Just my opinion. I don't care to watch any PBA events anymore.

    • @weevie833
      @weevie833 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can think of a lot of other things that ruined the game other than how the ball is thrown. It's like miniature golf now. I don't even bother to mention to anyone the honor scores I bowled 40+ years ago. Means nothing now.

    • @richardgeise9804
      @richardgeise9804 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@weevie833 I agree. A 300 game used to be hard to throw. Especially in league play. It took a lot of skill and felt amazing when you bowled one. I was committed to the game and got excited ever time I bowled. Now it feels like a joke to even watch it.

    • @richardgeise9804
      @richardgeise9804 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@weevie833 I have a few PBA pros tell me that 2 handed bowling made it nearly impossible to compete. All you need to do is look at the annual winnings of seasoned pros. $20 - $40k in a year is just sad. It costs them half that just to compete. 2 handed should be a sport unto its own so things are fair. Leave traditional bowling alone.

    • @mikeyvance3230
      @mikeyvance3230 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@richardgeise9804 the people that complained it’s impossible to compete were the ones who didn’t care to try and get better. What worked for them in the past stopped working so they complained and fell off. You don’t see guys like Duke, Weber, Williams, Bohn complaining about two handed bowling. They made the necessary adjustments to their games and won. Not as much but they were also in their 50s. The players who bitched about it, Brian Voss, Mike Devaney, they never won again after because they didn’t put the work in. It’s not about how you throw the ball it’s about how much you actually want it and how much you’re willing to put in.
