Sadly, yes. In early 2020, she was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules. I believe she had surgery to remove/shrink the lesion(s) as well. When Morning Musume began performing live again later that year (shoutout to COVID lol), it was clear that Chisaki's voice never fully recovered. I personally knew at that point she would graduate sooner rather than later. She eventually graduated from Morning Musume in June 2022. She joined the group in 2017 as a concurrent member functioning as a member of Country Girls simultaneously (2014 to 2019).
