As you drove past the forest, I couldn't help but thinking that there were probably forests on that land long before America was even discovered. The whole series is very peaceful and relaxing. Hi Mike, thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed them. Yes, the Caledonian forests were vast and centuries old, but much diminished now. The last decade has also seen a huge decline in the snowfall as many years ago you used to drive through channels dug through in the winter.
