Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed my fan-made boss theme of Pantalone! This was quite challenging as I don’t know much yet about his character. I’ve done my research by reading his lore etc. and this is what I came up with! There’s a backstory to this theme, so feel free to read and know my thought process behind it! (Please do note that my imagination is not lore accurate, some are made up. I hope you understand.) So we start off the theme with a classic 3/4 waltz and coin sounds falling here and there to point out his lavishness. We all know that he’s rich from the Goth Grand hotel story in Mondstadt (He booked the entire hotel for Fatui exclusive only in which he paid for the entire intended duration upfront with an "unbelievably generous" offer. Hence, the coin sounds and the waltz. Now as for the his position in Snezhnaya, he is in charge of Snezhnaya’s economic policies. Now that we know his position and past actions, this is where I created my own imagination. I imagined if we ever fight him, it will be in Snezhnaya. A country in which he has an agenda of (making Snezhnaya the "heart that pumps money around the world.”) I imagined the Fatui using him mainly for business transaction and managing the funds of the Fatui organisation, he might not be great at fighting, but his mind and ambition is a valuable asset for the Fatuis. Now, let’s dive deeper into the composition and the story I want to convey through the theme. Like I mentioned before, I imagined us fighting him in Snezhnaya and that is why I used a Glockenspiel in the intro to give a cold vibe and setting the overall mood of the theme. There’s a simple motif playing which is meant to be Pantalone’s theme, it’s cheeky, lavish but with a little bit sense of danger in it. In 0:34, the composition changed its energy to become more dangerous and with the choirs in the background singing “PA TA RO NE” (The software I have can only use certain syllables so apologies for that!) was meant to catch our attention and immediately realise that we are facing Pantalone in front of our eyes. The aggressive tone of the brass indicates his anger towards us since we have infiltrated his country, ruining all his ambitions and plans for Snezhnaya. In 0:52 we can clearly hear the Fatui motif playing in the back with spiccatto strings. I do not want to make it apparent at first to give out the feeling of uncertainty for us, the traveller. Making us think “I heard this brass line before, is he a harbinger? Are we actually facing a harbinger?” Then in 1:10 is when I make the Fatui motif very apparent, sending chills to the players, finally realising that we are actually facing one of the Fatui Harbingers in their own turf. However, we immediately realised.. His attacks are not as articulated compared to the previous harbingers we’ve faced (Tartaglia, Signora, Scaramouche etc.) symbolised by the inconsistent rhythm of the drums. His attacks are by no means weak, they’re strong, as expected from a Harbinger. But it’s very noticeable that Pantalone doesn’t have the ability to control his emotions during a fight. We’re facing off a man who is willing to fight to defend his ambitions and country, no matter the cost. At 1:28, we can clearly hear the theme changes and introduces a mellow melody sung by the choirs. This is when we got a good look on his facial expressions while he’s dashing towards us trying his best to land a significant damage to us. His eyes were red, full of tears and anger.. It’s a sight you don’t want to see in a battle let alone a duel. Pantalone’s expression is full of desperation and hatred, and at some point, you can relate fully to what he felt. You would also challenge anyone who tried to break your ambitions, no matter the risks. You empathise with Pantalone, you understand his feelings so much that your moves are getting heavier each second goes by, you don’t want to fight this man. After all, he’s just a person who is trying to defend his ambitions and country. At 2:04, the energy of the track slows down, both us and Pantalone are trying to catch our breath. We tried to talk it out with him and call the duel off, but his mind has been consumed by hatred that he won’t listen a single word coming from our mouth. At 2:20, Pantalone had enough. He gathered all the remaining energy his body has and launches a strong attack towards us, he’s becoming more and more desperate in the fight supported by the 4 chord progression instead of a 2 chord progression that we heard before in the Fatui motif. In 2:40 Pantalone starting to lose his stand and felt weaker as time goes by, he felt the energy of the traveller starting to overpower him and with the introduction of the coins in this part made Pantalone think to himself “heh, I’m just a business man after all. I do not excel in combat but I will do anything for Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa.. I hope I do not disappoint you, Your Majesty”. As the drums left in 2:58, Pantalone has been defeated, his weapon was shattered to pieces, sitting there on his knees helplessly waiting for you to deliver the final blow. You were reluctant at first, but you can’t take it any longer.. we must end the suffering of this man. You delivered the final blow in 3:16 and the last piano note that played just after the theme ended symbolised Pantalone’s last breath. So that is all for my imagination and thought process! I love his character so much and I apologise if you have a different imagination to mine but I hope you are still entertained with the theme and the little backstory I created. Once again, please do note that this is all my imagination, there’s a big chance of him not even close to what I imagined in game or from the official lore, but hey! That’s the point of fan-made themes, it’s not supposed to have 100% similarities to the official lore, just inspirations etc. So I hope you understand! Anyways, it was a lot of fun imagining the story behind this theme and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do! Have a good day everyone!
Imagining someone as elegant and calculating as Pantalone screaming in fits of rage and violence is so haunting. I got the chills reading this at the 1:10 mark
the sound of coins fits him so well 😩imagine his attacks being followed by a trail of mora. would show how much he's obsessed with money but at the same time, hates it
I really like the beginning of the song. The tempo of the song is similar to the waltz. It felt like a capitalist watching a dance performance in the best seat. Then he was tossing the Mora coin in his hand. Shortly after, a henchman came to report on his mission progress, I really liked it. (≧▽≦)
OMG Farabi my man you did it, this theme fits him so well, especially hearing coins rattling around, I can also sense a aura of arogance in this theme which also fits him well. Thank you very much for doing the theme of my favorite harbinger.
HEHEY you're early, congratulations! haha and thank you so much for your kind words! I knew Pantalone is your favourite harbinger and I'm glad I didn't disappoint! Also, feel free to read the pinned comment for the backstory (mainly just my imagination)!
@@FarabiHasanMusic I defenitely saved all of your harbingers themes, I like them all but this one tops the most for me. Am excited how you will do Pulcinella the last one.
poor man's coat for Tsaritsa getting stolen by Yelan and probably the main source of income from literally every single harbinger making the expenses go through the roof at least he gets epic fan-made music, keep it up my dude!
I absolutely LOVE this one, you can really feel the danger of pantalone but not like the other harbinger who sound like a physical danger, with this you understand that he can do way more than that, he could stop your journey just by his status. Idk if I explained my feeling very well but it’s an amazing ost !
Thank you so much! I get what you mean and that’s exactly how I portrayed him in my imagination as well! Thank you for giving it a listen and glad you enjoyed it!
Funny thing is when we recheck on Liyue quest, Childe wasn’t that happy to spend a lot of money. He knew he will have to explain all of this to Pantalone
As another music artist who has a love for Russian classical music and orchestra in general, I am astounded again and again by your work. At times, it’s hard to believe these aren’t the actual boss themes! The attention to detail you put into every song, from the use of lore to the combination of Genshin’s very specific style and your own little twists - it never fails to prove how passionate you are about what you make, and that’s something I can seriously relate to. I am in love with the music we have in-game for the Fatui so far, it is by far my favorite little group of songs in the Genshin OST (maybe even of all time). It’s unfortunate that it gets so overshadowed by regional music, so seeing someone else who is just as passionate as I am is really exciting! I absolutely adore your work, man, and I can’t wait to see what else you’ll come up with in the future.
Xero, thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it! I’m just glad and relieved that you and other people enjoyed my creations. I listened to several classical music in my free time and I can’t lie, Russian composers were just phenomenal.. Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich to name a few. I referenced some of their instrumentations and the overall ‘atmosphere’ that they gave. Of course, I can’t fully replicate or sound like them since they’re just in their league of their own hahah but I tried my best! And I’m glad that you enjoyed it, especially you’re a musical artist as well! Thank you once again! The regional music in Genshin is phenomenal but yeah I agree with you, Fatui themes got quite overshadowed by the regional themes hahah
I'd just like to say i will most likely leave a very big comment, so if you dont feel like reading it, dont; i just want to make it clear how much of a masterpiece this is. As a short version of what i might say, this Theme has so much meaning when you think of Pantalone, the song makes you feel Pantalone's whole personality just by some small details. The fancy music at the start combined with the coin noises is something you can expect coming from Pantalone's theme, yet it's so surprising to actually see it. It slowly builds up the tension in which you truly see the danger. The fancy music slowly, but noticeably, turning into a familiar tune; in game, we have little to none harbinger lore, yet when that specific motif is heard we can truly remember that our dear Pantalone is a harbinger. Just like Dottore and Sandrone, Pantalone gives off arrogance, but in a very different way. Pantalone's arrogance is more of a pitying arrogance, how he knows that he does not need to physically hurt an enemy when his status is enough to do the job. He is a rich man, after all. The way it sounds like his money is an important part of his character is a good thing in here, the way the theme portrays how his money made him so dangerous and unsettling is perfect. And then, the danger finally hits you. An enemy may underestimate the Regrator, thinking that he is just another arrogant, rich man from the Fatui. But when somebody finally notices Pantalone's dangers, it may be too late. The theme shows that even when you feel like in immediate danger, face to face with the Regrator, what he does cares is his money, his status. Even if not face to face, the Regrator is a dangerous man. If we, in game, never end up physically fighting him, he surely will use his status to destroy the other character's sanity. We are not certain at the start that what we would be facing was a harbinger, but as the theme continues, we can see all the elements of a harbinger; The familiar brass line, sudden tension from realization, sharp arrogance in all shapes. However, i do disagree with something you wrote in your own comments in certain parts. Pantalone, to me, is a very controlled and calcullated man. The inconsistent rhythm of the drums could also symbolize Pantalone's anger. While i do think he is a controlled man during fights, a fight with the traveler could make him unreasonably crazy. Seeing that his status, influence, and money could not do anything to this outlander who simply wants justice might make Pantalone abnormally mad. Somebody who does not care for his influence WILL make him angry as he never was before. Maybe he cares about Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa. Maybe he does believe in her objectives. But his are more important. He wants more and more power, more and more money. He wants to be feared, he wants to be respected. So he will kill the traveler and anyone who gets in his way. He knows that Her Majesty will bring him power, he would burn the whole world for that. He wants to be seen as the good guy, so when he really turns out to be the evil, egotistical capitalist that he is, he will strike fear. At 2:20, Pantalone had enough of his ''merciful harbinger'' mask. In a fight, he attacks in an uncoordinated way, he does not care that he could die without his plans. The traveler disrespected his authority, his power, and he will not stand that; killing the man will be the only way of protecting the nations from this power-hungry bastard. Hurt and insane, the Regrator dies in this fight as the final blow is received (3:16), and he is killed without regret. The Regrator's curses die with him, as he is defeated with that final blow. But dont think this is the end. Pantalone may have died, but a rich man's doings never die with him.
My god, this was very entertaining to read I was fully into it hahah! Long comments like these always makes me intrigued to read it. First of all, I'm glad that you enjoyed the theme and it made me happy as well that you can imagine this while also listening to the theme. Like I said in my comment, my take on Pantalone might/will be different to the others, and I am curious on how people see him. Your take on him fully made sense and I can imagine him being like you wrote, very controlled and calculated. That was a brilliant take on him! Unfortunately as of now, little is known about Pantalone in-game. We'll see (hopefully soon) how Hoyo portray him in the future. I hope what you wrote, or at least some of it would be canon as that'll make us think that even one of the lower ranked Harbingers are capable of defeating us and we should not underestimate them even though we've defeated Harbingers that are ranked higher than Pantalone. Also, that last line you wrote.. "but a rich man's doings never die with him". I really like that line hahah thank you so much for sharing your take on him, it was a pleasant reading your comment!
- short pov - his dark hair frames his near-white face as he takes a stand from the throne he perches so imperiously on. he walks over the coins on the floor as he holds his weapon tighter. “how daring of you to personally visit my vault. i am honored.” you grip your sword. paimon squeaks and hides behind you. “this ends now, regrator.” you say coldly. “i have defeated your superiors; do you truly think you stand a chance against me? after all…the only power you wield is the gold weighing you down in battle.” he laughs, eyes glowing dangerously behind his polished glasses. his polearm strikes the ground loudly, and defiance for the will of celestia burns bright from within him. “if i go down, it will at least be an honorable death; but it will not be me who dies today.” he launches straight into the fight, brandishing his spear and drawing blood. his glare is merciless and the rings of heresy seem to gleam on his hands, the mark of his servitude to the tsaritsa. you knock him away, trying to gain the upper hand, seizing his arm and trying to cast his weapon aside. “heartless harbingers,” you scoff. the wanderer was right- anyone who works closely with the doctor is sure to meet a nasty end. he is almost amused at this statement. his lip curls at the words you speak. “am i really the heartless one?” he smirks, parrying your blade and deflecting a blow. “who, pray tell, is the villain? is it me? or is it that throne in the sky, looking down on all mortals like they are worth nothing and depriving them of equality with the divine?” “i will listen to your layered words no longer.” you snap, stabbing your sword into his left hand. he does not scream, nor cry out in surprise, for snezhnaya does not believe in tears. he clenches his bloodied hand and retaliates, driving the spear's tip into your shoulder with such primal rage that you are shocked by his reaction. the battle goes back and forth, back and forth, a duel between a hero and villain. yet the lines are blurred. are you really the hero? or are you a mere pawn for the gods to use against those who stand up for themselves? there is no time to think. so you fight. blood is shed. flesh drips crimson onto marble floors. mora clinks, ever loudly, accompanied with the clashing of blades. but you are an otherwordly traveler, bestowed with the blessings of the elements and assisted by gods. he is but a mere mortal that thinks too much of himself. and so, his demise is to be expected. the sword knocks the spear out of his hands. he stumbles backwards, then collapses in a vault of his own wealth, destined to perish within the walls of that which he treasured so much. there is no desperation in his eyes. he does not plead for a display of mercy. he does not want you to spare him, as he would sooner be killed than live in shame of defeat and his surrender. his hair hangs limp over his face, glasses fogged, but his eyes are sharp with hate. even facing execution, he is far too proud. “for the tsaritsa, i have done all i could.” he heaves, nursing his wounds. his forehead is gashed, his right eye missing altogether, and several burns eat at his bent left leg. yet he scowls with such determination that it is admirable in some manner. the sword you hold is restless. so you allow it to complete the ritual, metal stabbing into his neck ruthlessly. you watch him slump over. his life force drains him. he suppresses a gasp of pain. then his eyes go dull entirely. money matters nothing in death. the regrator is simply another foolish mortal who has dared to dream too much, and has now paid the price. you step over the mora on the floor, leaving his corpse festering in the vault, where rats will pick his body out and eat at the rotted skin. you are not remorseful. he, after all, is a villain, you tell yourself. he deserved to die that way. did he not?
While listening to this song my mind has been filled with so many ideas of what his boss battle would be like. I can imagine that before the start of the battle, he'll make this sort of grand entrance wherein the sound of one singular coin jingling would be heard before he would then reveal himself. "Ah, the Traveler. The so called 'hero' in all of Teyvat." he'd say with a smirk while playfully tossing the coin and catching it (Sort of like one of Kaeya's idle animation), "What a pleasent surprise seeing you here. I suppose this could mean you're here to... Stop me.. Is that correct?" he would continue before placing the coin away. The Traveler would only glare at the Harbinger with reply, however this didn't bother Pantalone at all as he still kept his calm expression and signature smirk. "Not even going to give me any sort of reply? How rude.. Well, so be it." he would then say before then pulling out his weapon (I think a sword would fit him but its just my preference.) "The sooner I can get this finish the sooner we'll be able to proceed with out plan." he would then say before the fight would then begin. Now for the phases and such: I remembered seeing a comment wherein they had this thought of Pantalone incorporating dance moves as he fights which is a really great idea! (Imagine his movements being elegant while he fights us) For the first phase, it'd be cool to use the parry mechanics once more (From the Inazuma Event) since as we know, he doesn't have a vision. Then during the second phase we'd return back to the normal mechanics with Pantalone then activating his delusion. He'd most likely be the easiest Fatui boss to fight overall due to the lack of having a vision (Which is kind of sad but hopefully Mihoyo would turn him playable :)) Then once we defeat him this would be his quote: "I won't.... be.. humiliated... like this......" Or perhaps "No... I must.. keep going... I musn't.... lose...." Bonus: After doing small research about where they were based off on (Aka commedia dell'arte which idk why they chose it as its from Italy and not from Russia but meh) It'd be a cool detail if Pantalone's walk or even his elemental skill has a few similarities to La Signora since according to sources, in the original show Pantalone and La Signora are married. Even though they aren't, it'd still be sort of nice in a way (Might just be me tbh) :)) Overall, I LOVE this theme so much. Keep up the amazing work ^^ Edit: I found other fan-made fight themes of the other Harbingers. Might try coming up with a few ideas for them too :)
With the grand entrance thing, he will come out of a dark corner. But before he comes out of the dark corner, you will hear the sound of a mora coin jingling.
I thought of him using a gun and in one of his moves he will use his guns and aim at the Mora, shoot it and the Mora will hit you. This is very similar to Erron Black's xray move from Mortal Kombat.
It's such a shame that he doesn't have a vision. I hope he will have one or that his delusion will be used for a boss fight (and hopefully if he become a playable character)
Y’know, sitting alone in my dark room at five in the morning, listening to this music, and having something slowly fall over in the darkness is slightly terrifying
Scaramouche: I am a prototype homunculus created by a god Signora: I am a graduate from Sumeru Academy who managed to turn myself into a pyro elemental being for 500 years Childe: I was trained by a mysterious woman from the Abyss and acquired a highly dangerous power Dottore: I am a scientist from Sumeru who created different segments of myself Pierro: I came from an ancient nation that was destroyed by the gods Pantalone: MONEY I mean, granted, we don't really know anything about the other Harbingers yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For some reason, Pantolone's smugness fits this song perfectly. He doesn't care for morals, even in his collegue's funeral he is still thinking of the profits he would be losing in a half-day international mourning day. Ningguang values the mora and she can never have enough of it. She uses that wealth to both keep liyue thriving and also reward herself for her hard work of earning it. But it is clear that she is at peace with herself, and her wealth. Pantolone, however, doesn't seem like it. All he thinks about it loss and gain. From the way he accessorises himself, to the way he talks and keeps his posture, everything about him is pretentious. Even the trailer showed his expensive rings at first, before showing his face. I think that says a lot. This ost sounds full of itself and scary, yet its fragile from the inside
I completely agree with you. That was why I used a coin drop sound effect at the beginning to show how Pantalone (may) be possessed by money like Thorin from The Hobbit if you know. Thank you for giving it a listen and hope you enjoyed it!
am i going to cry? i think ima cry the slight change of beat and the coins rattling, the feeling of arrogance and being the best in the room is the feeling that came over me. i may be a broke college student but the feeling this gave me made me shiver at the power I felt as if I was holding was dangerous you did really well in this!!! good job
Thank you so much azrael! I appreciate your kind words and glad you enjoyed it! Hope this fan made theme can accompany you in your journey as a college student and make it more epic! hahah
From the start alone i feel threatened, especially with the sound staging and the chain sounds to the left and the right, as if to tell that the danger is present no matter where you try to go! The choirs midway through sound great as well, but that kick-in of sounds at around 2:22 made chills run down my body! Overall amazing work as always, can't wait to hear more from you!
I purposely used that kind of sound, it was supposed to be coins but could be chains as well like you said, depends on how you want to imagine it! I'm glad you liked it and thank you for the kind words!
@@FarabiHasanMusic They're pretty similar sounds, so I can see how it could be coins too (and it does fit Pantalone more) but I like the idea of the danger of the situation being represented by sound stage very much, and you did it really well
I'm truly honoured to hear that, thank you! I tried my best to mimic a Russian inspired orchestra style and I'm relieved that you enjoyed it! Thank you for giving it a listen!
God I love it everytime! It literally sends shivers down my spine even though the production itself is so fire! Love elements like the occasional shaking of coins (I think), your use of that sliding sub bass, Mmm. And of course, how you use the orchestra, choir and those bombastic drums! Bravo! As always!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed the sounds!😁 You’ll get there, you can search a lot of SFX in the internet and there are a lot of good ones!
@@kingalex105x7 I use Logic Pro X instead of fl studio, but honestly all DAWs are nearly the same hahah. If you're talking about how to make coins sounds like you mentioned above, you can do that with synth plugins such as Serum (or Vital, which is a free plugin). But it takes time since you have to sound design it, so what you can do is search for coin SFX on google and you can download those stuffs in WAV/mp3 (your choice) then drag it in to fl studio. If you're talking about how to make compositions in general with fl studio, that is a topic I may not be 100% familiar due to the different software we use haha. Sure, Logic, FL and other softwares are nearly the same but the interface will be very different towards one another, so you can look up tutorials on youtube regarding FL studio. However though, in terms of technicalities/process, they are basically the same. Insert plugins of any instruments to one of the instrument channels and you can produce sounds with a MIDI controller or manually drawing the notes in the piano roll. As simple as that! There are a lot more stuffs but those are the basics. Oh and also, if you're looking to buy or download plugins, be sure to look out for the format. I believe FL uses VST format. Some softwares have different formats (Logic uses AU, Pro Tools uses AAX etc.) I'm not sure of your "cant figure out how to make stuff with it" statement was referring to (the coins sounds, or make music?) so might as well discuss both hahah, hope this helps!
The soundtrack is soo good!!! The little details you add are amazing, like the coins, the different motifs you have as a symbolism of his work in the fatui and his personality, specially his arrogance. Personality, I want him to become playable, so I can main him, and learn more about his story, ect. Now I can't stop thinking this is his actual boss theme!! Kudos to your work!!
Thank you so much, Veronica! I appreciate the kind words. I also want him to be playable, I want to collect all the harbingers LOL. Anyways glad you enjoyed it!!
You did it again!!! You mad lad! You already know how I feel about the fatui motif. I LIVE for 0:52 - 1:28. I BLAST that through my speakers. Also the idea of the coin/mora in the beginning was such a brilliant idea. You just DONT MISS.
Farabi, this is both an amazing work of imagination and music production! I think the scenario you came up with (in your pinned comment) is very cool and you really expanded on the little info there is about him at the moment. I absolutely love the coin sounds! I don't know if its tambourines or actual coins but its a really good representation of how rich he is and his role in the Fatui. The waltz pace with strings makes me think of luxury, too. Listening to your fantheme while reading the scenario was an amazing experience that really made me feel for Pantalone. Great job as always Farabi!
Uwoghh thank you so much for your kind words, Heo! I truly truly appreciate that! I’m glad that you enjoyed both the theme and the little backstory and thought process I wrote in the pinned comment! Also, looking forward to your Sandrone theme Heo!👀🙌
I personally loved this theme for something completely different. I interpreted it as a story of his occupations blending together to form a single character, as it begins with his own melodies, then the fatui melodies, then mixing and matching them during the third repitition of the songs structure.
You mentioned it having a story to itself. I've written down what I was thinking about while listening to this piece. Truly an incredible work, gonna add it to one of my playlists. Loved the sounds of coins. The instensity seemed to be going up and down somewhat randomly to me, which could represent how prices of stock go up, up, down, up up up, down, down and so on. Might be wrong about that though. Anyways, here's some notes I've written down to describe the story it told as I've listened to it. 0:00 - 0:34 This part feels like the beginning of Pantalone. Someone with ideas who works in the background and rather steadily assimilates enough wealth to do something big 0:35 - 0:53 He's quickly put together a plan to increase his wealth even further 0:53 - 1:10 He's waiting. Being a regrator means patience and ability to strike at the right moment 1:10 - 1:28 The fish have taken the bait. It's all about carefully and slowly tiring them out, until they are caught. 1:28 - 2:04 The fishing rod starts to take a toll on Regrator's arms. Some businesses are too big of a fish to be caught that simply. 2:04 - 2:10 Regrator's retreats, leaves the fish to wonder, ignorant about what has transpired, lest it starts to be wary of hooks. 2:10 - 2:21 Quick adjusts to the plan must be made. As a Regrator, he knows it all well. Sometimes the price is up, sometimes it's down. Results are brought by prediction. 2:22 - 2:41 Regrator strikes again. 2:41 - 2:58 The plan went as was predicted by Lord Regrator. The fish have been caught, without even realising it. 2:58 - 3:16 The possibilities are limitless for Lord Regrator now. In the back of his head, all of those possibilities are constantly being analysed. Which investments can bring him more power. What must he trade to be equal to the gods? 3:17 - 3:26 Pantalone sits on his chair inside of the bank and ponders in silence. 8.5/10, Very enjoyable experience, +1 subscriber. Gonna read your version of the story now to see how off I was, haha. Edit: Completely off as expected, lol
If we technically have defeated most dangerous harbingers like Siniora and Scaramouche I can imagine that we will face trio of low ranks harbingers(pantalone, arlechino and marionette) in next boss fight, and this soundtrack would be perfect for this theoretical battle!
Thank you! I’m glad you found the theme enjoyable. Even though Pantalone, Arlecchino and Sandrone are one of the lower ranks, I’m still hyped for our fights with them!
Just because he doesn't have a vision. Doesn't make him less dangerous. In fact, it makes him even more dangerous if a Visionless holder is able to hold a position of high power.
I love this. I keep coming back to this- partly bc i simp for pantalone, but mostly cuz I LOVE THIS TYPE OF MUSIC FFS I CANT IMAGINE HIS BOSS FIGHT W/O THIS
@@FarabiHasanMusic I wish, but it really doesn't seem likely with the fact he has no vision. Maybe in future, he'll get one? I can see him with a hydro one. Or maybe delusions will come into play.
Ok WOW this is amazing. The sounds of the coins, and that elegant waltz tune that plays right before the brass comes in and slaps you is so good. I am obsessed with all of these themes, especially this one, Capitano's, and Pulcinella's
Love the beginning with the rattling sound that sounds like coins in a bag, considering Pantalone being the businessman of the fatui it makes a lot of sense.
I got so many chills throughout this, ughh I could go on and on about how great it is, but every aspect of it down to the coin sounds just scream his type of character. Absolutely amazing work!
This is example of underrated song. I listened it after aroung 1 year and it's so good! 2:05 is so close to hype, just need little more epic ascending and it will so glorious

Pantalone is pretty awesome. But i feel like he wouldnt be to big of a threat to the traveler since he's only number 9. Besides we have just defeated the 6th harbinger and we are only gonna get stronger from here. Still, great music though
I agree with you on that, the biggest threat would be the top 3 harbingers, I’m sure of it. But anyways, thank you for the kind words and glad you enjoyed it, Darryl!
To be fair, we only won against him because of Nahida's huge contribution in that fight, we are literally getting owned if not for her. Nevertheless yeah we are literally getting strong as each story passes by. He would be a big threat mark my words this guy is giving aizen with money vibes.

@@darrylerren8185 Traveler and Scara are probably on par as of this moment. He was the 6th strongest before he even became a god, I could see him as our informant in the future against the harbingers.
@@darrylerren8185 Actually, in his base form, Scaramouche was basically the Raiden Shogun without a sword or spear. He could have killed the Traveler several times throughout the story. Thank Mona and Yae Miko for the bail, by the way. It was only after the second battle with Ei that the Traveler gained enough skill to fight against opponents like her puppet and Scaramouche without dying.
Wanli Train EntranceIn this underground train piled up with blood, tears, and howls, the merchant and his wealth are buried forever. The train has already reached its destination, but everything that happens here has been preserved in another way.
There is something intriguing, but this cliché of the clinking of coins creates the feeling of music from the film adaptation of some kind of fairy tale. Each harbinger has its own pace, here it is a little weak. But the work was definitely worth it :)
Thank you for giving your honest feedback towards the theme, I always appreciate some feedbacks. I will take it into account and try my best to improve my skills. I hope you still enjoyed the theme nevertheless!
It's beautiful, I listen to it every day and see Pantalone, in his dearest and best fur-collared cloak, go to the bank, to the vault of his innumerable amount of Mora, in which he can bury even the entire teivat people alive. It's a brilliant soundtrack, I give a standing ovation.
corporal arrogance, This beggar turned banker has but one desire, to control the flow of money and turn Snezhayna into the beating heart from which all wealth flows. Pantalone will do what ever it takes to see this dream realized, regardless of how many are hurt or killed for it. He will make the world that once looked down upon him tremble at his feet, as he finally gets what he deserves and earn what is rightfully his.

I've already listened to it 50 times, but the more I listen, the more I notice some of the same type of moments! I especially want to say that from 1:56 to 2:05 the moment is the top one and it should be emphasized more in the rest of the soundtrack and in the future. Well, the author is a little God =)
Question Fabari, will you do some fan made themes for the Tsaritsa and the other archons? (As well as other potential bosses out there?) I'd really like to see your take on them. Namely the Pyro and Hydro Archons, I believe that besides the Tsaritsa, we may end up fighting another archon like we did with Ei in the struggle to fix their nations issues. Of course, finish up with the other harbingers first, Pulcinella remains the only one left to do. Do you think that is something you'd be interested in doing?
That’s an idea I have been thinking for quite some time but haven’t really thought much about it as of now. It surely is an interesting idea! I’ll decide in the near future if I will ever do something like that!
A new week-end, a new song :) thank you very much for your huge work ! This theme fit very well with Pantalone ! Amazing work (even if for the moment Arlecchino stays my fav ❤️🔥) I was wondering, do you think make a battle theme for the doctor ? You did already one but its more like an Introduction music, so I was wondering. Can't wait to see !
Thank you so much! I’m glad one of my fan made fatui harbinger themes is one of your fave! Also for Dottore, I have no plans at them moment to make a battle theme for him, but we’ll see in the future!
Мне не дают покоя его одержимость "равноценным обменом" и желание нарушить естественное равновесие между людьми и богами. Возможно ли что для Панталоне деньги не конечная цель, а инструмент для достижения цели куда более значимой, чем экономическое господство Снежной?
Thank you Adla! Glad you enjoyed it! As for the Liyue theme, I’m not sure if he’s from Liyue though. He has an effect on Liyue and Mondstadt but I’m not 100% sure if his origin is from Liyue. I would assume he’s from Snezhnaya
@@FarabiHasanMusic Hello, Ty for replying my comment, I believe in the artifact set Pale Flame it speaks about some of the harbingers backstories (Scaramouche, pierro, dottore and Pantalone) the pantalone set piece it’s the Sands of Eon, it states “Perhaps he lusted for money because he had once been destitute” then it says “The people of the land from which these coins hail revere contracts above all else." The Land where the coins (mora) come from and contracts are respected above all its Liyue, and finally it might hint a little bit more with "In the name of money, I shall respect the contract between us..." contracts are mentioned once again, that’s why It might be really possible he’s from Liyue. Still I loved this theme it’s amazing and resembles him amazingly tbh
@@adlaramirez7306 Ahh I see! I took note from his wiki fandom page and I didn't get any hints that he might be from Liyue. But based on your statement about the artifact lore then there's a chance he might be from Liyue then, I learned something new today hahah. Anyways thank you for giving my fan theme a listen and glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for listening as well as the input! I will do my best and I’m experimenting a lot with compositions and the tones of the track, I hope I can meet your expectation soon!
Too bad, we already have Childe's theme. I really want to know how you'll interpret Childe, I really like your Patalone's and Tsarista's themes. Those are my favorite.
I hope you understand.)
So we start off the theme with a classic 3/4 waltz and coin sounds falling here and there to point out his lavishness.
Have a good day everyone!
oml reading this while listening to it makes the effect even better. tysm for using all this time to write a paragraph based on the battle!!

I really like the beginning of the song. The tempo of the song is similar to the waltz. It felt like a capitalist watching a dance performance in the best seat. Then he was tossing the Mora coin in his hand.
Shortly after, a henchman came to report on his mission progress, I really liked it. (≧▽≦)

I absolutely LOVE this one, you can really feel the danger of pantalone but not like the other harbinger who sound like a physical danger, with this you understand that he can do way more than that, he could stop your journey just by his status.
Idk if I explained my feeling very well but it’s an amazing ost !

Funny thing is when we recheck on Liyue quest, Childe wasn’t that happy to spend a lot of money. He knew he will have to explain all of this to Pantalone
Even if it weren't Pantalone specifically, it sounds like it'll fit the environmental theme for a grand bank in Snezhnaya.
Haha you’re right, I really can’t wait for us to go to Snezhnaya, it’ll be amazing I’m sure!
How hilarious would it be if he threw money at his enemies.
That would be a chad move right there hahahah
imagine we get mora every time he does it
He is Eden(HI3rd) of this world!
- short pov -
his dark hair frames his near-white face as he takes a stand from the throne he perches so imperiously on. he walks over the coins on the floor as he holds his weapon tighter.
“how daring of you to personally visit my vault. i am honored.”
you grip your sword. paimon squeaks and hides behind you.
“this ends now, regrator.” you say coldly. “i have defeated your superiors; do you truly think you stand a chance against me? after all…the only power you wield is the gold weighing you down in battle.”
he laughs, eyes glowing dangerously behind his polished glasses. his polearm strikes the ground loudly, and defiance for the will of celestia burns bright from within him.
“if i go down, it will at least be an honorable death; but it will not be me who dies today.”
he launches straight into the fight, brandishing his spear and drawing blood. his glare is merciless and the rings of heresy seem to gleam on his hands, the mark of his servitude to the tsaritsa.
you knock him away, trying to gain the upper hand, seizing his arm and trying to cast his weapon aside.
“who, pray tell, is the villain? is it me? or is it that throne in the sky, looking down on all mortals like they are worth nothing and depriving them of equality with the divine?”
“i will listen to your layered words no longer.” you snap, stabbing your sword into his left hand. he does not scream, nor cry out in surprise, for snezhnaya does not believe in tears. he clenches his bloodied hand and retaliates, driving the spear's tip into your shoulder with such primal rage that you are shocked by his reaction.
the battle goes back and forth, back and forth, a duel between a hero and villain. yet the lines are blurred. are you really the hero? or are you a mere pawn for the gods to use against those who stand up for themselves?
there is no time to think.
so you fight.
blood is shed. flesh drips crimson onto marble floors. mora clinks, ever loudly, accompanied with the clashing of blades.
but you are an otherwordly traveler, bestowed with the blessings of the elements and assisted by gods.
he is but a mere mortal that thinks too much of himself.
and so, his demise is to be expected.
the sword knocks the spear out of his hands. he stumbles backwards, then collapses in a vault of his own wealth, destined to perish within the walls of that which he treasured so much.
there is no desperation in his eyes.
he does not plead for a display of mercy. he does not want you to spare him, as he would sooner be killed than live in shame of defeat and his surrender.
his hair hangs limp over his face, glasses fogged, but his eyes are sharp with hate. even facing execution, he is far too proud.
“for the tsaritsa, i have done all i could.” he heaves, nursing his wounds. his forehead is gashed, his right eye missing altogether, and several burns eat at his bent left leg. yet he scowls with such determination that it is admirable in some manner.
the sword you hold is restless. so you allow it to complete the ritual, metal stabbing into his neck ruthlessly.
you watch him slump over. his life force drains him. he suppresses a gasp of pain.
then his eyes go dull entirely.
money matters nothing in death. the regrator is simply another foolish mortal who has dared to dream too much, and has now paid the price.
you step over the mora on the floor, leaving his corpse festering in the vault, where rats will pick his body out and eat at the rotted skin.
you are not remorseful.
he, after all, is a villain, you tell yourself. he deserved to die that way.
did he not?

@@Phoenixwright832 ?
@@carina_huang I just found it a little funny, if Genshin was like that the community would be totally different.
@@Phoenixwright832 honestly can't tell if this is a backhanded compliment or what but yeah the fandom is weird af
How rude.. Well, so be it." he would then say before then pulling out his weapon (I think a sword would fit him but its just my preference.)
"The sooner I can get this finish the sooner we'll be able to proceed with out plan." he would then say before the fight would then begin.
Now for the phases and such:
I remembered seeing a comment wherein they had this thought of Pantalone incorporating dance moves as he fights which is a really great idea! (Imagine his movements being elegant while he fights us)
For the first phase, it'd be cool to use the parry mechanics once more (From the Inazuma Event) since as we know, he doesn't have a vision.
Then during the second phase we'd return back to the normal mechanics with Pantalone then activating his delusion.
He'd most likely be the easiest Fatui boss to fight overall due to the lack of having a vision (Which is kind of sad but hopefully Mihoyo would turn him playable :))
Then once we defeat him this would be his quote:
"I won't.... be.. humiliated... like this......"
Or perhaps
"No... I must.. keep going... I musn't.... lose...."
Bonus:
After doing small research about where they were based off on (Aka commedia dell'arte which idk why they chose it as its from Italy and not from Russia but meh)
It'd be a cool detail if Pantalone's walk or even his elemental skill has a few similarities to La Signora since according to sources, in the original show Pantalone and La Signora are married.
Even though they aren't, it'd still be sort of nice in a way (Might just be me tbh) :))
Overall, I LOVE this theme so much. Keep up the amazing work ^^
Edit: I found other fan-made fight themes of the other Harbingers.
The coin sound ! How fit him very well as a banker
Hehe thank you! Hope you enjoyed it!
Scaramouche: I am a prototype homunculus created by a god
Signora: I am a graduate from Sumeru Academy who managed to turn myself into a pyro elemental being for 500 years
Childe: I was trained by a mysterious woman from the Abyss and acquired a highly dangerous power
Dottore: I am a scientist from Sumeru who created different segments of myself
Pierro: I came from an ancient nation that was destroyed by the gods
Pantalone: MONEY
I mean, granted, we don't really know anything about the other Harbingers yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
LMAO, we do know juuuust a bit of Pantalone’s backstory in his wikia fandom page. But yeah, it seem like his life revolves around money😂
@@FarabiHasanMusic Well, he was born into poverty and wanted a Vision but never got one. That's the only thing we know of his backstory so far.

@@FarabiHasanMusic They're pretty similar sounds, so I can see how it could be coins too (and it does fit Pantalone more) but I like the idea of the danger of the situation being represented by sound stage very much, and you did it really well
i really like how u use the russian orchestral style in your harbinger series, love it as a russian myself!
I'm truly honoured to hear that, thank you! I tried my best to mimic a Russian inspired orchestra style and I'm relieved that you enjoyed it! Thank you for giving it a listen!
hey i saw you before...
@@_magic_moonlight_8757 I'm everywhere.
@@Tartaglicous oh no
Божественно 😭💖
God I love it everytime! It literally sends shivers down my spine even though the production itself is so fire! Love elements like the occasional shaking of coins (I think), your use of that sliding sub bass, Mmm. And of course, how you use the orchestra, choir and those bombastic drums! Bravo! As always!
Thank you so much, Momo! Those sliding sub bass was inspired by your tracks haha! Glad you enjoyed it!
My god i love the bank and money sounds, I wanna learn to do this :(. excellent job
Thank you so much for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed the sounds!😁 You’ll get there, you can search a lot of SFX in the internet and there are a lot of good ones!
@@FarabiHasanMusic im guessing u use fl studio i still cant figure out how to make stuff with it
@@kingalex105x7 I use Logic Pro X instead of fl studio, but honestly all DAWs are nearly the same hahah.
Some softwares have different formats (Logic uses AU, Pro Tools uses AAX etc.)
I'm not sure of your "cant figure out how to make stuff with it" statement was referring to (the coins sounds, or make music?) so might as well discuss both hahah, hope this helps!
Amazing theme and I loved the little backstory you wrote down!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the theme and the little backstory I came up with!
I swear to God I love this man and hearing this made me REALLY happy! It sounded amazing!❤
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so so much! I really appreciate that! It’s a pleasure knowing you enjoyed the theme!
If this ain't his actual boss theme. Im rioting
HAHA thank you so much! Hope you enjoyed it!
I personally loved this theme for something completely different. I interpreted it as a story of his occupations blending together to form a single character, as it begins with his own melodies, then the fatui melodies, then mixing and matching them during the third repitition of the songs structure.
Sounds like a spymaster on a soiree, making secret deals and connections.
0:00 - 0:34
This part feels like the beginning of Pantalone. Someone with ideas who works in the background and rather steadily assimilates enough wealth to do something big
0:35 - 0:53
He's quickly put together a plan to increase his wealth even further
0:53 - 1:10
He's waiting. Being a regrator means patience and ability to strike at the right moment
1:10 - 1:28
The fish have taken the bait. It's all about carefully and slowly tiring them out, until they are caught.
1:28 - 2:04
The fishing rod starts to take a toll on Regrator's arms. Some businesses are too big of a fish to be caught that simply.
2:04 - 2:10
Regrator's retreats, leaves the fish to wonder, ignorant about what has transpired, lest it starts to be wary of hooks.
2:10 - 2:21
Quick adjusts to the plan must be made. As a Regrator, he knows it all well. Sometimes the price is up, sometimes it's down. Results are brought by prediction.
2:22 - 2:41
Regrator strikes again.
2:41 - 2:58
The plan went as was predicted by Lord Regrator. The fish have been caught, without even realising it.
2:58 - 3:16
The possibilities are limitless for Lord Regrator now. In the back of his head, all of those possibilities are constantly being analysed. Which investments can bring him more power. What must he trade to be equal to the gods?
3:17 - 3:26
Pantalone sits on his chair inside of the bank and ponders in silence.
8.5/10, Very enjoyable experience, +1 subscriber.
Gonna read your version of the story now to see how off I was, haha.
Edit: Completely off as expected, lol
Деньги деньги дребеденьги,
Позабыв покой и лень,

А остальное все дребебедень!
You know the boss is rich when bro has the sound of MONEY in his theme
If we technically have defeated most dangerous harbingers like Siniora and Scaramouche I can imagine that we will face trio of low ranks harbingers(pantalone, arlechino and marionette) in next boss fight, and this soundtrack would be perfect for this theoretical battle!
Thank you! I’m glad you found the theme enjoyable. Even though Pantalone, Arlecchino and Sandrone are one of the lower ranks, I’m still hyped for our fights with them!
Arlecchino is the 4th strongest rn 😂
Marionette is ranked lower than Arlecchino
@@wgawhat Yeah, who knew…

When trying to fight pantalone and retrieve a gnosis he'll just slap you with a restraining order.
It’s insane how good this is,, I mean, WOW. You’ve captured his sheer elegance and his need for power all in this song.
Thank you for your kind words, glad you enjoyed it!
Just because he doesn't have a vision. Doesn't make him less dangerous. In fact, it makes him even more dangerous if a Visionless holder is able to hold a position of high power.
I love this. I keep coming back to this- partly bc i simp for pantalone, but mostly cuz I LOVE THIS TYPE OF MUSIC FFS I CANT IMAGINE HIS BOSS FIGHT W/O THIS
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I wish you a c6r5 Pantalone in the future (I hope he's playable.. surely he must be playable..)
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed the themes!
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
The power of Mora, men!
why is this so good
Hahah thank you! Glad you liked it, Harper!
This is example of underrated song. I listened it after aroung 1 year and it's so good!
2:05 is so close to hype, just need little more epic ascending and it will so glorious
This reminds me of the original plague inc. theme mixed with the shadow plague theme. The coin rattling is cool too
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@FarabiHasanMusic he's my favorite character, I'm currently trying to save to get as many constellations as I can on him if he gets released, I know they said all the Harbingers in the video will be playable, but he doesn't have a vision, so yeah, he might not be playable
Author, your work is truly amazing.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed my works!
Bro well done, this is perfect. I can easily imagine this on a real battle between the Traveler and Regrator. 🏦💰💰💰💰💰
Thank you Cyber! Glad you enjoyed it!
music of the most richest and wealthiest man on Teyvat even surpassing the God of Geo/Mora/Wealth Morax
@@idontspeakjapanese6289 Remember that Scara became a god when we fought him so thats why he was so strong. In this regular form, he could'nt defeat us alone

Oh man. Another absolute gem!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is beautiful
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
I hope you still enjoyed the theme nevertheless!
if pantalone actually becomes a boss in the game and this is his battle theme, i'd be lowkey terrified
Hahah thank you so much Vivinne! Hope you enjoyed the track!
POV: You thought it would bright idea to steal another fur coat for the Tsarista from Pantalone but you are not Yelan.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed the theme!
He gives me like those really kind on the outside, but wicked on the inside vibes. Like Aizen from Bleach or partly Banner from Yugioh GX.

corporal arrogance, This beggar turned banker has but one desire, to control the flow of money and turn Snezhayna into the beating heart from which all wealth flows.

I was wondering, do you think make a battle theme for the doctor ? You did already one but its more like an Introduction music, so I was wondering. Can't wait to see !
Thank you so much! I’m glad one of my fan made fatui harbinger themes is one of your fave!
Also for Dottore, I have no plans at them moment to make a battle theme for him, but we’ll see in the future!
Мне не дают покоя его одержимость "равноценным обменом" и желание нарушить естественное равновесие между людьми и богами. Возможно ли что для Панталоне деньги не конечная цель, а инструмент для достижения цели куда более значимой, чем экономическое господство Снежной?
gives odur bossfight from thymesia vibes
I really like it, the only thing that might be missing it’s a slight part of liyue theme since pantalones it’s from liyue
Very beautiful. It's a shame you never go high enough for a boss theme. Go crazy for once. There's so much potential
