Valerie Bennett I notice that too, so, I just made using what I thought would work, I used 1 and 1/2 cup off boiling water, 1 and 1/2 of milk, 3 eggs and 1 table spoon of baking powder! Used my oven in 400 and kept my eyes on it... I would say, it took about 30 min! As it makes lots, I used 2 small casseroles and a median one, in one off the small ones I used a little bit off fennel seeds, it matches perfectly! I made for breakfast, so we ate with butter and cheese! I’m planning to try it with more sugar (to taste like a cake) and also another time add Parmesan cheese, I’m sure it’s gonna be great!
1.5 cu - boiling water 1.5 cu - Cornmeal 3 tsp - sugar 1 tsp - salt 4 tbl - butter 1.5 cup milk 3 eggs 1 tbl - Baking power Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together (minus baking pwdr). Then add Boiling water to dry mix. After about 3 minutes, add wet ingredients plus baking power. Bake 25-35 minutes.
White cornmeal, made with white corn. Stone ground will give you a smoother texture, and plain (not stone ground) will give you a slightly heartier texture.

Please don't do a recipe that doesn't have a COMPLETE discription of the ingredients.
The recipe is subsumed in the transcript. All you have to do is write it down. E.g. one and a half cups of cornmeal, 1/2 tsp salt, etc.
