tip: if you're in a clingy situation and a op vault example: leos memory main building jump or lakeside main jump or anything with seconds floor its better to use the mud bomb cause stagger from jump+ mud bomb= a lot of fucking stun/movement reduce cause if you land the mud bomb on the ground and youre on a elevated surface its extremely powerful
That's when estimation of the hunter's distance comes into play. You can also use the mini map, hunter's red light, and the strength of the heartbeat sound to estimate if you're supposed to use a bomb at the right time/place or not.

Camera Angle - hard to aim but easy to jump
Character - easy to aim but harder to jump

Im late but my mud tactic is to jump on the hunter before it hits it has 50% chance of failing it depends on the hunter but it usualy worcks for me
