- Hi and welcome to my channel,
This is Penny's development from embryo to pullet. Penny hatched on the 17th of May 2023 by Mrs Big Blue, she was an only chick as the other eggs failed to develop to full term. Mrs big Blue is an amazing and experienced Mum and taught penny how to be one amazing young hen. I think she is beautiful, hope you enjoy the video and would really appreciate it if you could like and subscribe.

I love seramas it's hard to take care patiently it is need
☺️ thank you for your comment 💕, they probably do need more care than the larger breeds especially in the colder countries, they do not like the winter time! Hopefully summer will be here soon 💕💕
Pretty nice seramas
Thank you 💕
🥰
What happened the other eggs under her ?
She sat tight for a few more days but then started to abandon them to take care of Penny. After candling them to check they were still alive I popped them under another broody hen Gemma who happened to be sitting on a clutch that weren't fertile. She hatched another two Albert and Peggy this is a link to the video if you wish to take a look ☺️.

@chucksnchicks ahh thats brilliant. I have my very own serama hen here in Ireland thats pipping out 2 at the moment, the rest are behind so im hoping she stays on them because ive only on broody hen out of 7 . Your videos are brilliant by the way.
@@paulobrien8600 thank you 🙂 I'm glad you like them. Aww how exciting I love this time of year when they all start going broody and hatching off. I'm sure she will be fine, I always say mum knows best, I only put the eggs under my other hen as all hers were no good 😞. Because mine are free to lay were ever and I keep them as natural as possible, sometimes when the broody hen gets off other hens do sometimes lay in the nest box as is what has happened here, there was a weeks difference in penny hatching and the others. My hens normally stay siting for a good few days before abandoning any eggs and normally then there is nothing inside them. let me know how you get on 🙂
