Rock's heel turn was a game changer, This man was constantly getting booed out of the building for being one of the most generic wrestlers at that time. In 1997-1998 he would become one of the most entertaining and charismatic wrestler in wrestling.
It was omg he is part of the reason Stone Cold became a major star in 99 plus he owes Foley for alot of his work because Foley pushed rock hard to be great as a heel
@@Naruto0s44Foley helped Rock in 99, HHH in 00, Orton in 04 and Edge in 06….WILD. throw in there HBK in 96…although he was over, Foley helped give HBK that ‘edge’
When Batista turned Heel, I was scared for Rey. Also, My aunt and mom was there when Flair turned heel, they said the crowd was about to become a riot.
@Ted Cox In WWE, but outside of it he's potentially one of the most important people in the modern era. He is THE face of "bet on yourself" at this point, the icon of the "alternative" to the big bucks.
@Ted Cox I mean, was Jannetty a world champion or individually over at one point? Not really, while moxley is for sure the third best member of the shield, I wouldn’t say he was like janetty 😂
Undertaker’s heel turn led to Big Evil, my favorite iteration of biker Taker. Also looking back like the video mentioned, Batista’s turn is seriously one of the greatest, it was executed to perfection
When The Rock join the Nation of Domination and becoming the leader he was so charismatic and entertaining. Which made him one of the biggest stars in WWE History
Yes ! Ross is reacting and checking out another wrestling bios video. I tell you this dude does a very good job on his video and the man does his homework and research.
I've got to say Wrestling Bios has been killing it with his reviews of raw vs nitro reliving the war he has done over 136 episodes so far it has great watching these videos I hope you are subscribed to his channel kickin it with Ross 👊
What Ross said about the other guy putting his hand on your neck region, and beats is coming your way, man the immaculate accuracy of this man! Ross is immaculate. 🤌🏻
Loving the wrestling bios videos. Most of the videos show stuff we already know in recent times of wrestling but him turning back the clock at older momments is great.
Learning about Zbysysko was cool cuz they set the bar MEGA high for heel turns today. You can even see some of that influence with The Bloodline and Sami Zayn. THAT'S legendary. Also, shoutout to Batista because people have been really trying to twist his wrestling history after 2014, but HE👏🏾 WAS👏🏾 THAT👏🏾 GUY👏🏾. Babyface, heel, tweener- it didn't matter because he was/is one of the FEW in wrestling HISTORY to make it ALL work EXTREMELY well💪🏾
Batista heel turn shook me as a kid back then 😂 poor Rey already had Eddie beat his ass in a likely manner Ciampa turning on Johnny was elite story telling tho, same shock as HBK and Janetti
Rock's first heel turn happened at a time when WWE was in close competition with WCW & everyone was gravitating towards the heels. It needed to happen.
The Batista heel turn as well as the run was literal gold. The only part of that run that I had a problem with was not the fact that Cena beat Batista at wrestlemania, but the fact he made him tap out. I mean they built Batista up to be this guy that John just couldn’t seem to handle. Then they proceeded to allow Cena to completely subject Batista by him tapping out. They should have let Batista just barely loose by pin-fall. Then of coarse Cena would have outsmarted the animal by using duck tape in the lms match, which worked perfectly. Then finally Cena would have beaten him in the I quit match. Then I would have been completely fine with it. However, since Batista had done submitted on there first match there really was nothing else for John to prove.
When Roman went away due to the leukemia coming back, I said they should have him turn heel because it worked for Rock when his initial face run fell completely flat. Worked like a charm for the both of them
There's a lot of parallels there between the Rock's initial monster babyface push when he first came into the company and Roman Reigns monster babyface push, IMO.
Hopefully a future video will have The Big Turn of 1980. In Georgia, Ole Anderson turned face for an entire year just so he could gain Dusty Rhodes' trust and then stab him in the back when the opportunity presented itself!! Here's the GREAT promo from Ole explaining his whole "plan": th-cam.com/video/fCIgLQGruvs/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=popculturestu Ole also gave an awesome promo in 1990 when The Horsemen turned on Sting.
If we didn’t get Rock turning heel the first time to join the Nation of Domination we would never gotten The Rock we all grew up and love today. We gotta thank Faarooq (Ron Simmons) for that.
Larry Z's turn on Bruno was a big deal at the time. When I finally saw the footage years later though, I felt let down as Bruno's blade job was too obvious in front of the TV camera.
Yo Ross You got to react to Roman Reigns Promo because something happened yesterday that was so good at the end of Friday Night Smackdown with Roman Reigns which u will enjoy a lot so please react to it due to the fact that I want to see your reaction to Roman Reigns promo from yesterday
I disagree to a certain extent. A babyface can be relatable if booked properly. I hate a cowardly heel and that's what Roman is. His character work is better but the constant cheating just kills it for me. Bryan during the Yes movement was incredible. That's how you book a babyface.
This he'll turn to me right now is Roman but he has a weakness when they get close they can take him apart he drops his guard he is the most hated man right the whole WWE universe was Channing f*** you Roman he got flashbacks when no one liked in when he was a baby lol hilarious but I love it tribal chief it's probably one of the best hills right now since the Rock
Love to contact keep up the good work someone beard man to another you got to trim it my boy man has a glorious. Keep it clean, download the Sun I got some tattoos to keep it clean looking thick and healthy are you certain oils let me know man I can hook you up we all got to look at their beards with great fear comes great responsibility much love my brother keep up the good work best beards my brother going to stick together ✊🧔
1. John Cena is my favorite wrestler of all time. 2. I don't like or respect Roman Reigns because of the whole acknowledge me shit. 3. Even though one of my favorite wrestler are currently heels, I like faces better than heels
Roman reigns has been an amazing heel since 2020, also for the love of God can people stfu with this Sami fucking joke of a wrestler Zayn should beat Roman for the titles l, it doesn't make sense and I could care less how over he is. He's not credible to beat Roman reigns that's all 😂
What’s y’all favorite heel turn from this video 🤔
Big evil undertaker walked so tribal chief roman could run
Waiting on that new promo joe!
Big dog undertaker
It’s dropping today
@@KickinitwithRoss Ross and Joe..Saturday sorted!

When you think about it some what similar to Roman Reings heel turn, he was being booed by not being himself.

Rollins' heel turn was brilliant, it definitely helped all 3 men reach to the top afterwards.

1:45 bro The Undertaker Turning Heel at the End of 2001 was so Great because he became the BIG Dog in his then Yard at this time.
Loving the wrestling bios videos. Most of the videos show stuff we already know in recent times of wrestling but him turning back the clock at older momments is great.
The Rock, Scott Steiner, and Seth Rollins heel turns changed everything for their careers.
Learning about Zbysysko was cool cuz they set the bar MEGA high for heel turns today. You can even see some of that influence with The Bloodline and Sami Zayn. THAT'S legendary.

Could also have happened after he beat the Undertaker.
Batista turning on Rey, was a wild Heel Turn frfr
Yo Ross, would you ever consider doing a collab with wrestling bios?, that would be f'n dope
ACKNOWLEDGE HIM EMBRACE HIM
Yessir wrestling bios stand up my favorite channel
My favorite heel turn was when kane got unmasked they really woke a beast
you should react to wrestletalk's 10 wrestling heel turns that massively backfired, i'm sure you'll like it!
much love from brazil!
Wrestling Bios is a fantastic channel.
Best heel turns:
Scott Steiner on Rick.
Hollywood Hogan in ‘96.
Mark Henry retirement.
Ric Flair on Sting (multiple times). Corporate Rock.
There's a lot of parallels there between the Rock's initial monster babyface push when he first came into the company and Roman Reigns monster babyface push, IMO.
It's basically the same mistake. But they did the turn for Rock almost a year after his debut. While they didn't turn Roman heel for 5 years.
Favorite Heel turn will always be Seth Rollins turning on The Shield
Can't wait for y'all's match(vs Dub), Wonder who's gonna come out has a heel🤔😄

that Steiner turn still hurts me to this day. But I love me some Big Poppa pump
My my favorite heel turn was the undertaker when he became the American bad ass
My personal favorite heel turn was Hulk Hogan being the 3rd man.
Hey Ross, maybe you could check out his video of the first elimination chamber match before the ppv?
Kickin it with Ross why they don’t have the nation of domination in the hall of fame ?
Bret harts heel turn in early 97 was epic. But it actually started in late 96.
You're in the new promo joe vid!!!
And my favorite heel trun rock
Ross, you gotta watch the new promo Joe video
Ross about to have a Hawaiian shirt bray Wyatt beard
Although it was predictable Christians heel turn on Jungle Boy was close to perfection.
Wheres Y2J heel turn in 08 when he threw HBK into the Jeritron
Yo Ross you should react to Sami Zayn challenging Roman Reigns at elimination chamber
Heels will always be more entertaining than faces in my opinion
27:36 Vince did not want to turn Cena Heel Cena want it to turn heel Vince declined
My favorite heel trun is the undertaker
Also Hogan's heel turn.
This ain't really got nothing to do with the video but looking back at N.O.D Farooq promos and entrances, he definitely should've been WWF Champion.
Ur camera was shaking somewhere 21mins 😅👍
It might not be the best heel turn, but Dominik's was pretty awesome.
Stone cold Wrestlemania 17 greatest heel turn of all time. Vince was always cheating him out the title . And he joined his team.
Ross react to Roman promo last night and sami attacking him from behind
Barry Windham, which is the uncle of Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt
why some people hate Undertaker American Badass character but i love that character i think he didn't play the character i think he is the character
Ross 2 Belts
Rest in peace, Dusty Rhodes, which is Cody Rhodes, is dad
He should have been number one cuz when it comes to hills no one's better than Ric flair woooo
No Heel Hogan ?
matt hardy turning on jeff should have been on here for sure, great video ross!
People sleep on Eddie heel turn in 2005
Larry Z's turn on Bruno was a big deal at the time. When I finally saw the footage years later though, I felt let down as Bruno's blade job was too obvious in front of the TV camera.
Personally, Eddie turning on Rey broke me. It was the day I stopped watching pro wrestling.
