Me too!! There are so many “Riders” today that have no idea of the Flathead/side valve engine! It was a very reliable engine , I personally remember cops & meter maids in Pittsburgh running around the city in the 70’s. I believe Harley continued to make that engine into the early 1970’s, that’s proof of the engineering that was way ahead of its time when the engine was first developed!
