Eventually the Scots and Picts intermarried enough to the point where the Picts were absorbed into Scots. Though, the Western Islands of Scotland and a few other areas were conquered by the Vikings who eventually also intermarried with the Scots as to be absorbed into their culture as well. Later, the Norse-Scottish of the Western Isles region would come to Ireland as Gallowglass.

Vikings is a stupid concept, the vast majority of "vikings" were traders, settlers and explorers. Not bloodthirsty pagans who cut down any christian they saw. Many of them converted to Christianity, which is a big reason "viking" culture came to an end.

I have a question about the Nagamaki, was it effective at blocking, I mean it was really quick and really sharp but it seems kind of flimsy and might break easily I'm not really a person with big knowledge on weaponry so please take it easy on me.

It may look wobbly but it’s that way out of necessity due to the much larger degrees of force it will take in fights. It’s certainly not a noodle, though. It’s more than stiff enough to deflect incoming strikes. Flexing of the blade is something you can even see on much smaller one handed swords.
Adding to this, not all zweihanders had that type of blade design. If one pays attention to the montage of historical depictions, almost all of them are straight bladed.
Not to be that guy... but the Japanese Yari was a double-edged, folded steel sword blade on the end of a 5 foot+ pole, frequently featuring hooks or crescent shaped blades off the side of the main blade, with an iron wrapped back end that functioned like a two handed mace and extremely well balanced to be swung, twirled, and thrust. You can literally see how unwieldy that Knightly Poleaxe is just from them using it on dummies. The Chinese also a large variety of highly versatile polearms and I wouldn't be surprised if other Eastern cultures did as well.

the Guandao has been used in China for as long as 300 AD and it is essentially a glaive.

Yeah, some of the info he told in this video was rather inaccurate. Zweihanders were not all curved, that was just a particular zweihander that they had there.
