Cruisin' Down Memory Lane: Unforgettable Moments from Bright Rod Run 2023

The picturesque town of Bright, Victoria, hosted the much-anticipated Bright Rod Run 2023 from November 10th to 12th-a three-day extravaganza that celebrated classic cars and paid tribute to Remembrance Day.
The weekend kicked off with the Friday Night Bench Session and Entrant BBQ, where live music, savory barbecue, and spirited conversations set the tone for an eventful weekend. Car enthusiasts immersed themselves in the festivities, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of community.
As the sun set, participants enjoyed the Entrant Dinner & Live Show-a night filled with delectable food, live entertainment, and connections forged through a shared love for classic rides. The Rotary Market and Show & Shine, featuring a Trade Show, provided a visual feast for car enthusiasts and an opportunity to explore a variety of stalls.
The Sunday Street Party served as the grand finale, bringing everyone together for a lively celebration, dancing, and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. This year, the event went beyond the joy of cars, incorporating Remembrance Day into the program. Each car entry included a poppy, and the proceeds supported the local RSL branch. A heartfelt Remembrance Day service at the clocktower on Saturday, November 11th, at 11 am, added a poignant touch to the weekend.
Recalling the Show 'n' Shine, all roads led through the Coronation Ave entrance near Dougherty’s Bridge. Entrants had the early advantage, with gates opening at 7 am, while the public joined the excitement from 9 am.
Attendees had the chance to mingle with fellow car enthusiasts, explore trade stands, and savor delicious food and drinks at the Show 'n' Shine. The iconic Rod Run proved to be a must-attend for owners and lovers of pre-1977 automobiles.
