I hope she knows she is the coolest mum ever. The amount of things shes done, not to mention her brilliant mind like what? To have a mum like that. (love my mum tho to bits)
Watching this at 15 about to start GCSEs makes me realise how much I didn't know about the future. I've always worried about moving out, and I feel like this helped me realise that I dont have to force it quickly. Will be watching more of the series!
hi, i'm almost 16 and watching this really calmed me down. eleanor's story assured me that i don't need to go to college. i'm scared that my parents won't be able to afford this, but there are always other paths. thank you so much, mrs. simons
I loved this video as someone who struggles heavily with anxiety and making friends to see that there there is a life outside of school. I cant wait to be out of the social and mental stress of school. I'm so glad I found my current friends as I dont think think I would be here rn without them since my family life was always a struggle and had no support. Thanks Jack,Ellie and Sarah xx
What an entertaining video, I really enjoyed this collaboration & the thought provoking subjects that were discussed. I honestly must say I was entertained and related to all of these crucial issues in life. Keep up the fascinating content & maybe you should even consider doing more collaborations with Tommy’s friends…
I’m really enjoying the ‘Am I doing this right’ series, it’s such a wonderful concept, all the guests have very interesting and insightful perspectives, and you’re such a good interviewer! I wanted to suggest putting all the episodes in a playlist on your channel like you’ve done with some of your other podcasts, so it would be easier to watch them in order for people who want to rewatch or just found them recently.
In Canada we actually have a mandatory high school course about careers. It’s really simple but it is similar to what Eleanor was talking about taking career quizzes. There are multiple quizzes with personality and strengths taken into account to provide jobs that connect with those factors. It also touches on the different pathways (uni, college, apprentice) and possible education needed to get different jobs. The idea of the course is to have students know a rough idea of where they want to go in the future and plan their courses for the next two years. Sorry I went on a bit of a rant but I think it’s really beneficial and definitely helped me.
I’m close to having to submit my ucas uni application and I still don’t know what to do at uni or even as a job, I don’t think there is anything I can say I really genuinely love and enjoy doing and I’m having a hard time with not knowing what direction to go in. Even looking at uni courses and reading the descriptions I don’t understand how that’s supposed to tell me if I want to do it or not
Hello motherinnit! How have you been! The last time I saw you it was in tommys video 😂 but anyway how have you been? We've been great! Jack and Ellie are a cute couple 💕
As a teenager moving into early stages of adulthood, I needed this
Well shit, guess I've gotta watch this now...
