- Hello everyone!
I had some time to record this cover during my practice sessions for last years gig with Monument of Misanthropy.
Since I was in pretty good shape back then, I just did 3 takes and took the best parts to cut this final version.

Haha, that's brilliant! Thank you so much! But I had to learn push pull because I got troubles wit the wrist of my left hand...

I love their cover of Iron Maiden. Many bands just make a regular cover, but Anaal Nathrakh made it in their own sound

This is the right decision of covering a band that is not from the same genre!

Your snare tone is DIVINE! I'm so sick of hearing snare tones that are all bass and no punch. As a drummer myself, I find yours very refreshing.
Also, excellent job! I somehow had no idea that one of my favorite black metal bands covered one of the best songs my favorite band has written. Up the Irons!

@@ultrafloss492 Yeah man Roddy has some excellent technique foot blaster tricks, the other main point is getting your pedals angles/spring tension and positioning right! I find I play better on looser springs!

Not surprised about the changes over time. I'd tell people to check stuff out and every now and then remark, "I love this guy, but I think he has cyborg wrists," because the angle and height on fast, sustained strokes were notable. But it's all love these days. Phenomenal across the board and a joy to wake up to.

Matteo 23 Do you really believe that? Speed is really not the decisive one. But feeling, power, groove, strokes that are NOT beeing played. Everything that you miss in this playing. Weak strokes and believe me: primarily that drumming is SILENTLY. Nowadays everybody is impressed only by speed - sad.
