Put some pipe thread Teflon tape on the threads of the bleeder nipple. That will stop air getting into the hydraulic line. It will also prevent the nipple from freezing and breaking off next time you need to bleed the brakes.
I thought about that, should have mentioned it; trouble is, I hate that stuff because over time on brake bleeders, the stuff becomes gooey and more trouble that it's worth.
And... I won't ever probably need to bleed these brakes again, customer called me last night and we discussed a process in which he wants me to advertise and sell the outfit once completely done.... :)
