There are a few win conditions for Superman if he knows he's not about to win, he can fly in the Sun and sit there to power up. If he goes at top speed he can blitz and fly them so far from the earth that they can't come back. There's also the phantom zone gun if anyone from Tekken gets trapped there they are definitely not getting back. Normal Superman wouldn't do that but I can actually see this version of Superman doing it. Especially since he think of head of time.

This may not sound like much at first, but remember, King is a _pro wrestler,_ not an ordinary wrestler. Most of the moves he does normally require opponents to cooperate in order to perform, like powerbombs, piledrivers, etc. But King? Everything Kiryu did before Yakuza 7 are legit strength feats, even the dodging orbital lasers in that one Amon battle. From 7 onward it's just Ichiban's imagination (Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is Majima telling a story plus he had amnesia sooo brain damage?), when he pulls a baseball bat out of a patch of concrete Ichiban and his friends fight thugs but he's the only one that saw them become muscular. In the beginning you are level 1 with minimum stats. You fight a wolf in the forest. Let's assume it's as strong as a normal one. It'll do 17-25 damage per bite. Hero has a sword. It does similar damage. The hero wins that fight due to potions or team members helping out. The Hero & co get exp. They level up after awhile. Soon, at level 5 with the same equipment, the wolf does 3 damage. The Hero does 70-89. By MAX LEVEL with the best equipment, everything short of a Hyper Beam Cannon or Super Nova does low damage to reverse damage thus healing the character. And the Super Nova might do 1000-1500 damage at BEST to a Hero with 9,999 HP or MORE with MAX STATS!

So glad your doing this again man. Don't get me wrong I love all types of fiction and dabble in them from time to time but Tekken just hits that perfect niche of being kinda popular but also kinda obscure that I love watching youtube vids on it the most. It also helps that it has the most fascinating lore imo.

I've played like two Tekken games in my entire life but I love the characters and lore. That and Street Fighter have some of my favorite fighting game stories because of how crazy the settings are.
You got 3 *MAJOR* things wrong about Injustice Superman: 1. Superman's best strength feat was pushing Ganthet, a GL Guardian, and Mogo, the living planet, into the sun. 2. Superman doesn't NEED to eat or sleep as long as he has sun energy. He does those things because he likes doing them; if Superman ever feels like he's getting weaker, he can just force the fight to wherever the sun's shining. 3. If he ever feels like he can't win on his own, Superman will just make a quick trip back to his Fortress of Solitude and grab a weapon, armor, Phantom Zone Projector, whatever he believes will win the fight.

They can't just spawn a bazooka. They have to have it, in their storage. We see in the pirate Yakuza Game. During combat. When Majima jumps into the air he somehow clone, spawns several of those knifes he used in Ichibans Cutscene. That do electrocute when hit. Kiryu can negate powers, drain the soul, and summon dragons while fighting. Yes they have powers and they're not as exaggerated as you think they're
Also the floor wouldn't collapse in like that via an earthquake. Majima punches the floor. And then the floor shatters and caves in from where he punches it. While an earth quakes destruction is different. And it's not an earthquake. Majima crashed a truck into the building. And the truck made the support beams/interior fall over. Again that wouldn't cause the floor to lose its durability. It would also break from the outside of the walls not the bottom of the floor. Where Majima punches it from.
Also Yakuza, aka The Like A Dragon series in Japan. Has a lot higher power interpretation then people think. The feats you talk about are early series and power creeped on by later series. So early Series Kiryu strength is anywhere between Small Building to like Light Speed+. But by later Series he is town to mountain level. With FTL speeds. It's even implied by Minami a scientist in the Yakuza series. The Kiryu and his friends, exponentially grow. In their fights. Minami a simulation where it takes the strongest version of you and buffs it. And Kiryu beat that simulation of himself. Which Minami thought was impossible, because it shouldn't be. And the way Yakuza series works. Is that their power levels and capabilities are buffed or nerfed based on how much Heat, Chi, Ki, Fatigue, and Damage they have at the time. That way they can keep the realism in for story telling purposes. And power levels op for Battles. Basically when your fatigued and heat is low. Then you can be shot by bullets because your to slow to dodge them at the time. When your heat is at max or close enough to it. You're capable of dodging Light speed lasers and even tanking them. It's just ridiculous
When you started talking about if you can fly faster than FTL then your reaction speed has to be comparable, it reminded me of Red Dwarf. One of the early seasons they approach light speed and Holly has a breakdown thinking he can't react fast enough. It is a good episode.

It's been a while since i followed tekken storyline, but I think Kiryu would stand a decent chance if he joined in earlier part of tekken and would probably learn a lot of fighting styles/skills from other tekken fighters as Kiryu is essentially a fighting prodigy and has beastly strength.....if all else fails he could spam tiger drops

From what I’ve seen the substories in the Yakuza series are in fact canon. That includes The Amon Clan. Jo Amon is stated to be the deadliest assassin in the world. Kiryu beats him….multiple times throughout the series. If you don’t think it’s canon and Kiryu isn’t on that level, that’s perfectly fine, having an opinion is a beautiful thing. I agree with you in the fact that Kiryu wouldn’t get involved with the main cast all too much. But if he did, I just think, given the sources and such that I’ve found, Kiryu would definitely hold his own. But anyway, thanks for the video Rouga. I’m going to enjoy binging this channel again when I have time.
With the Yakusa in tekken. Personally, I think he would bring quite a bit to the story, at least for the neglected side characters. Law needs money for his dojo, Paul would love the sparing partner with an improvised style, Yoshimitsu already has beef with the yakusa being a thief against criminals, even the sumo guy with his whole quest for one-sided love would fit the vibes both series are known for. And especially king with his orphanage would be a center piece to the dynamic
My favorite Final Fantasy game is actually FF6. That game also had a martial artist similar to Tifa in the form of Sabin. I kind of want to see how long some of those characters would last, but since it isn't as popular there isn't high res remakes of it.

Unlikely. Kazuya is the best example of pure evil in the series. He even murders people he cares for and Heihachi and others have said he was born destined to be evil. Even if that’s not the case given that Liu Kang couldn’t change the nature of Shao Khan or Shang Tsung I see how it would be different for Kazuya.

MK1's story was absolutely dog shit. Liu Kang had the power to change the universe and make it perfect, so of course instead of making sure everyone had good lives that made them good people, he just either erased them like the Tarkatans, or gave them shitty lives like Shang Tsung, and I honestly do not blame him for being the villain in this game.
To be fair it is said in the game that it is his first try at making a new universe. But still it is tremendously funny that he made general of outworld Shao out of all the people, while giving the deadly alliance no big roles. Liu Kang is kind of a dumbass.

Well, the green halo in MK is some god killing skill that a clan has that Johnny is a descendant of or something. To me, that Johnny vs Shinnok fight is pretty much like Goku vs Frieza on namek. Frieza never trained and I’m assuming neither has Shinnok cause he never really had too because of his power, meanwhile Johnny has this green halo and he knows how to fight. Imagine if Frieza did train before coming to namek, would super saiyan make a dent? I don’t think so considering how strong Frieza gets after training in DBS.

Guns are not useless in the tekken universe. Yes the characters can dodge bullets but if bullets didnt hurt them they wouldn't need to dodge them. Case in point bryan fury does not dodge bullets. My ponit being human characters still scale to human characters. More importantly liu kangs role is to facilitate the mortal kombat tournament, not to get involved in the machinations of mankind. So hes not getting involved with the war. He's looking for hero champions to fight outworld, and none of the main characters in tekken are heros.

Weren't all of the "resets" in Liu Kang's timeline because of Shang Tsung meddling as "Damashi"? He deliberately made things how they were "supposed to be" to undermine Liu Kang.
No many of the changes reverted without his involvement. General Khan plotting to take over Edenia and the Tarkotens still existing in the form of a disease had nothing to do with Shang Tsung.
Okay sooooooooo the only thing i dont agree with is the jax ending. In his ending he removed racism and war by making earthrealm itself a peaceful place. No slavery no holocaust no wars. The whole "travel speed = reaction speed" thing is honestly super weird. Generally, I really like how you tend to scale things and you're by far the most consistent non-wanky one person found, but the travel speed thing is a really odd hangup for me. I haven't really seen it dramatically effect the fight outcomes in your videos yet, but: 1: You - a human being - can play Elite Dangerous and travel around solar systems at 256c without issue. You don't necessarily have to have crazy relativistic reactions because you can a: sense it from far away or just know how far it is in general enough to stop pretty close to it and b: slow down on the approach to better track it. Even if characters aren't doing that, there's a million explanations for how they could go from planet-to-planet without necessarily being able to react that quickly. I like Elite's Explanation of high gravity dampening the physics-breaking effect of ftl as you approach it, which slows your ship down 2: why can't it just be an accepted inconsistency? Like magic or powers in general? The reason characters can travel ftl or why ftl in fiction is so common in the first place is because it allows writers to have interplanetary stories without it taking centuries to get anywhere. Sure, it's kind of annoying to do, but I think the canon where Invincible is necessarily perceiving and reacting to the world at like 3 billion frames per second but can somehow still fail to react to normal-speed punches when caught off guard is so much weirder than the canon where part of Invincible's flight ability either lets or forces him slow down before getting to the planet he's aiming for. In general, unless we see them travel like star wars ships (where they just instantly stop) I usually just assume they're slowing down before they get there. Even then, I'd still leave it for debate whether they're actively reacting mid-flight or can just sense the distance they have to go. After all, I could walk to my wall with my eyes closed and stop right before hitting it.
They use Allspeak in the Tekken games. Were you can speak in like Dutch and a Chinese, Kryptonian, Kitties, Zombies, etc all can hear you in their own languages without much problem and vice versa. Tarkatans were a diff species in earlier games, so it would be speciesism and not racism.

I would probably disagree with you on Mortal Kombat now that I think about it. It's not my personal favorite fighting game. I'm much more of a DOA/Tekken/Virtua Fighter fan gameplay wise. but I do love the MK universe and its characters. I would say they are at least average. Not the best written but endearing and badass. The storytelling has largely improved over the years and the constant martial arts action keeps thing entertaining. I have a soft spot for Liu Kang being a huge Bruce Lee fan growing up. Although I can admit that he's basically a generic good guy with little depth. So, I do kind of see where you're coming from.

This may not sound like much at first, but remember, King is a _pro wrestler,_ not an ordinary wrestler. Most of the moves he does normally require opponents to cooperate in order to perform, like powerbombs, piledrivers, etc.
But King? He's doing all these moves completely unaided against some of the biggest and strongest dudes in the world, including a near 8ft tall giant war robot.

Everything Kiryu did before Yakuza 7 are legit strength feats, even the dodging orbital lasers in that one Amon battle. From 7 onward it's just Ichiban's imagination (Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is Majima telling a story plus he had amnesia sooo brain damage?), when he pulls a baseball bat out of a patch of concrete Ichiban and his friends fight thugs but he's the only one that saw them become muscular.
Tifa would absolutley be involved in WW3, at the start of FF7 Tifa was apart of Avalanche fighting against the Shinra Electric Power Comapany, she got Cloud involved with Avalanche before Sephiroth was involved in the plot.

In the beginning you are level 1 with minimum stats. You fight a wolf in the forest. Let's assume it's as strong as a normal one. It'll do 17-25 damage per bite. Hero has a sword. It does similar damage. The hero wins that fight due to potions or team members helping out. The Hero & co get exp. They level up after awhile. Soon, at level 5 with the same equipment, the wolf does 3 damage. The Hero does 70-89. By MAX LEVEL with the best equipment, everything short of a Hyper Beam Cannon or Super Nova does low damage to reverse damage thus healing the character. And the Super Nova might do 1000-1500 damage at BEST to a Hero with 9,999 HP or MORE with MAX STATS!

I've played like two Tekken games in my entire life but I love the characters and lore. That and Street Fighter have some of my favorite fighting game stories because of how crazy the settings are.
I think an interesting thing to think about is what would happen with Kiryu if Tekken's WW3 happens while Kiryu works for the Daidoji Faction
You got 3 *MAJOR* things wrong about Injustice Superman:
1. Superman's best strength feat was pushing Ganthet, a GL Guardian, and Mogo, the living planet, into the sun.
2. Superman doesn't NEED to eat or sleep as long as he has sun energy. He does those things because he likes doing them; if Superman ever feels like he's getting weaker, he can just force the fight to wherever the sun's shining.
3. If he ever feels like he can't win on his own, Superman will just make a quick trip back to his Fortress of Solitude and grab a weapon, armor, Phantom Zone Projector, whatever he believes will win the fight.
Kiyru would be fine in Tekken. He's practically similar to all of them.

Heihachi literally just funded a universal translator so every opponent he ever faces can understand him when he says how weak their style is compared to the Mishima Style.
Goro Majima. Not Gojo. Also the Yakuza Series has alot of powers. They do have the magic Satchel, where they can just spawn weapons. Now these weapons do have to be stored. Before the battle. They can't just spawn a bazooka. They have to have it, in their storage. We see in the pirate Yakuza Game. During combat. When Majima jumps into the air he somehow clone, spawns several of those knifes he used in Ichibans Cutscene. That do electrocute when hit. Kiryu can negate powers, drain the soul, and summon dragons while fighting. Yes they have powers and they're not as exaggerated as you think they're
Also the floor wouldn't collapse in like that via an earthquake. Majima punches the floor. And then the floor shatters and caves in from where he punches it. While an earth quakes destruction is different. And it's not an earthquake. Majima crashed a truck into the building. And the truck made the support beams/interior fall over. Again that wouldn't cause the floor to lose its durability. It would also break from the outside of the walls not the bottom of the floor. Where Majima punches it from.
Also Yakuza, aka The Like A Dragon series in Japan. Has a lot higher power interpretation then people think. The feats you talk about are early series and power creeped on by later series.
So early Series Kiryu strength is anywhere between Small Building to like Light Speed+.
But by later Series he is town to mountain level. With FTL speeds. It's even implied by Minami a scientist in the Yakuza series. The Kiryu and his friends, exponentially grow. In their fights. Minami a simulation where it takes the strongest version of you and buffs it. And Kiryu beat that simulation of himself. Which Minami thought was impossible, because it shouldn't be. And the way Yakuza series works. Is that their power levels and capabilities are buffed or nerfed based on how much Heat, Chi, Ki, Fatigue, and Damage they have at the time. That way they can keep the realism in for story telling purposes. And power levels op for Battles. Basically when your fatigued and heat is low. Then you can be shot by bullets because your to slow to dodge them at the time. When your heat is at max or close enough to it. You're capable of dodging Light speed lasers and even tanking them.
It's just ridiculous

It's been a while since i followed tekken storyline, but I think Kiryu would stand a decent chance if he joined in earlier part of tekken and would probably learn a lot of fighting styles/skills from other tekken fighters as Kiryu is essentially a fighting prodigy and has beastly strength.....if all else fails he could spam tiger drops

From what I’ve seen the substories in the Yakuza series are in fact canon. That includes The Amon Clan. Jo Amon is stated to be the deadliest assassin in the world. Kiryu beats him….multiple times throughout the series.
If you don’t think it’s canon and Kiryu isn’t on that level, that’s perfectly fine, having an opinion is a beautiful thing.
I agree with you in the fact that Kiryu wouldn’t get involved with the main cast all too much. But if he did, I just think, given the sources and such that I’ve found, Kiryu would definitely hold his own.
But anyway, thanks for the video Rouga. I’m going to enjoy binging this channel again when I have time.

With the Yakusa in tekken. Personally, I think he would bring quite a bit to the story, at least for the neglected side characters. Law needs money for his dojo, Paul would love the sparing partner with an improvised style, Yoshimitsu already has beef with the yakusa being a thief against criminals, even the sumo guy with his whole quest for one-sided love would fit the vibes both series are known for. And especially king with his orphanage would be a center piece to the dynamic

Unlikely. Kazuya is the best example of pure evil in the series. He even murders people he cares for and Heihachi and others have said he was born destined to be evil.
Even if that’s not the case given that Liu Kang couldn’t change the nature of Shao Khan or Shang Tsung I see how it would be different for Kazuya.

Liu Kang had the power to change the universe and make it perfect, so of course instead of making sure everyone had good lives that made them good people, he just either erased them like the Tarkatans, or gave them shitty lives like Shang Tsung, and I honestly do not blame him for being the villain in this game.
To be fair it is said in the game that it is his first try at making a new universe. But still it is tremendously funny that he made general of outworld Shao out of all the people, while giving the deadly alliance no big roles. Liu Kang is kind of a dumbass.

Well, the green halo in MK is some god killing skill that a clan has that Johnny is a descendant of or something. To me, that Johnny vs Shinnok fight is pretty much like Goku vs Frieza on namek. Frieza never trained and I’m assuming neither has Shinnok cause he never really had too because of his power, meanwhile Johnny has this green halo and he knows how to fight. Imagine if Frieza did train before coming to namek, would super saiyan make a dent? I don’t think so considering how strong Frieza gets after training in DBS.

Guns are not useless in the tekken universe. Yes the characters can dodge bullets but if bullets didnt hurt them they wouldn't need to dodge them. Case in point bryan fury does not dodge bullets. My ponit being human characters still scale to human characters.
More importantly liu kangs role is to facilitate the mortal kombat tournament, not to get involved in the machinations of mankind. So hes not getting involved with the war. He's looking for hero champions to fight outworld, and none of the main characters in tekken are heros.

Weren't all of the "resets" in Liu Kang's timeline because of Shang Tsung meddling as "Damashi"? He deliberately made things how they were "supposed to be" to undermine Liu Kang.
No many of the changes reverted without his involvement. General Khan plotting to take over Edenia and the Tarkotens still existing in the form of a disease had nothing to do with Shang Tsung.

The whole "travel speed = reaction speed" thing is honestly super weird. Generally, I really like how you tend to scale things and you're by far the most consistent non-wanky one person found, but the travel speed thing is a really odd hangup for me. I haven't really seen it dramatically effect the fight outcomes in your videos yet, but:
1: You - a human being - can play Elite Dangerous and travel around solar systems at 256c without issue. You don't necessarily have to have crazy relativistic reactions because you can a: sense it from far away or just know how far it is in general enough to stop pretty close to it and b: slow down on the approach to better track it. Even if characters aren't doing that, there's a million explanations for how they could go from planet-to-planet without necessarily being able to react that quickly. I like Elite's Explanation of high gravity dampening the physics-breaking effect of ftl as you approach it, which slows your ship down
2: why can't it just be an accepted inconsistency? Like magic or powers in general? The reason characters can travel ftl or why ftl in fiction is so common in the first place is because it allows writers to have interplanetary stories without it taking centuries to get anywhere. Sure, it's kind of annoying to do, but I think the canon where Invincible is necessarily perceiving and reacting to the world at like 3 billion frames per second but can somehow still fail to react to normal-speed punches when caught off guard is so much weirder than the canon where part of Invincible's flight ability either lets or forces him slow down before getting to the planet he's aiming for.
In general, unless we see them travel like star wars ships (where they just instantly stop) I usually just assume they're slowing down before they get there. Even then, I'd still leave it for debate whether they're actively reacting mid-flight or can just sense the distance they have to go. After all, I could walk to my wall with my eyes closed and stop right before hitting it.

They use Allspeak in the Tekken games. Were you can speak in like Dutch and a Chinese, Kryptonian, Kitties, Zombies, etc all can hear you in their own languages without much problem and vice versa.

I don’t think you actually played final fantasy 7 because the whole story is to protect the planet from greedy company because mako is the blood of the planet and it’s killing it so she joined a organization to stop them from doing so I think she would 100% get involved because she the type to help out others

I would probably disagree with you on Mortal Kombat now that I think about it. It's not my personal favorite fighting game. I'm much more of a DOA/Tekken/Virtua Fighter fan gameplay wise. but I do love the MK universe and its characters. I would say they are at least average. Not the best written but endearing and badass. The storytelling has largely improved over the years and the constant martial arts action keeps thing entertaining. I have a soft spot for Liu Kang being a huge Bruce Lee fan growing up. Although I can admit that he's basically a generic good guy with little depth. So, I do kind of see where you're coming from.
