despite having an 8 year old account, i'm still a newb with less than 2k battles played, with my highest tiers being 8. i haven't experienced much of the game, but there's this one tank which i adore, and it's the Matilda. playing in a platoon with a friend we are an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, even if we roll poorly into tier 6s. having good armour as a tier 4 tank is so strong and being able to use it efficiently is rewarding when every tank in low tiers is a piece of paper, making even me able to have solid impact in battles.
Where are these brilliant players when I play? 8 hp and not one person loaded HE. Could have hit him about anywhere and did eight damage. Arty could have help cap or backed up and splashed him dead. Totally congrats to the guy and awesome name. Rock on tankers 🤘😎
Not with the new HE mechanics. You're a lot less likely to do damage with HE now, and you can't splash anymore. You used to be able to shoot the ground under or next to a low-hp tank to finish them off.
Havent played this game in years butt thise tank is on of my al time personal favorites. The first day after it became a heavy tank carried a 1v7 game on himmelsdorf that game whas my best game ever .
I also had my palms wet while watching the ARL V39 appearing from the corner and what a great player! I still roll the VK 36.01H from time to time and I also use this acht.acht gun for its alpha damage (in early years it had quite a sad penetration, so no surprise it was a konish gun time). As for the tank I loved during my first days in the game, it was a tier 3 German TD, Marder, which could destroy KVs and not being spotted. Actually, it was the only thing I imagined to deal with those KVs which had 152mm guns on Tier 5 at those days :) Thanks for commenting this one QB!
my first big love in wot was the soviet tier 5 t-34 with its 57mm gun. i had to face tier 9 tanks with the a-20 and thought tier 5 would only get worse, but for some reason, the highest i saw once i got the t-34 were tiee 8 tanks. so i was a tier higher than before and my enemies a tier lower. it felt like heaven. and then the 57mm gun. apcr rounds were still gold excusive rounds at the time, so i had to work with 112 mm of penetration, but that was enough at the time. i dropped the game in 2018 with only a few phases where i would come back for a month before quitting again. this game has become to much pay2win and the powercreep that is happening is only making things worse, with tanks that have no weakspots and can only be penetrated with gold rounds. but sometimes i do enjoy watching a good game like this one
I thought the first tank I truly fell in love with was the hellcat. Then I got the Strv 74 from the on track, I realized, that is the first tank I TRULY fell in love with. I LOVE that tank. So much fun and a beyond amazing tank.
It's a real tank too, they have a strv-74 at the tank museum in Hässleholm in Sweden. Amazingly it is actually quite a bit taller than the centurion they have there, it is very tall.
On my North American server account, which I've had since 2011, my best game ever was in this tank...and it doesn't even hold a candle to this match here by dnt_worry_darling. A great match by a great player in a great tank!
My first tank I feel in love with was Tiger I (P) My friend laughed as he played the regular Tiger 1 but I had some damn good games in my Porsche tiger ;)
Not only with matchmaking... Light tanks are pretty much obsolete. Light tanks were crazy fast. I remember when the tier 9 and 10 Light Tanks came into the game. Holy Sh*t they felt like the fastest tanks with the tier 10 german light tank hitting crazy 80 kilometres per hour. Now we have french clown cars that can hit 100 kilometres per hour and light tanks with actual tracks feel like snails... I hope sooner or later wargaming sees that tracked light tanks are not played enough and hopefully will be buffed again so they dont feel worthless. Or maybe nerv the wheeled french light tanks. But I think wargaming will not do that...
I started up the french line first, ending with a Batchat at tier 10. at tier 9 it used to be the Lor40T, man that tank was crap back then. It made me want a heavy so I played the american line, T110e5 was at one point almost OP. But I fell in love with the T29, did the still do now. It feels good to take an 'old' tank out and pound on some of those shiny new tanks
My fav tank since beta. love that big gun and it never lets me down. I went so much with that tank that i even ordered scale model from china and paid almost 100 Eur to get it.
My first love in WoT was the then-tier 3 Valentine AT with it's Howitser gun. With 410 alpha, I believe, it was able to 1-shot most tier2 and 3's, some tier 4's and do enough dmg to pose a threat to tier 5's. Definetely NOT an OP tank, most even told me it was a bad tank, but to me, it was oh so fun...especially when you could shoot over ridges, because of the high gunarc of the howitser, at targets who couldnt even see you! It was bad but fun then, now, at tier 4 and with the HE-nerfs, it's just bad...no fun at all 😞
I got the 3601 h when it was a medium and agree with the Konish gun being a slightly better option. However as a casual FTP player who rarely uses "gold" rounds these results are beyond my competencies.
An awesome game in an awesome tank. My early memories of wot was also in this tank before I got the tiger. Also my best game was in it. platoon combined got a crucial contribution medal. Was pleased (I think was kill more than 9 enemy tanks )
Yes, Crucial is platoon must kill 10 or more tanks combined. I've only achieved it once. I BELIEVE that the requirements used to be that all platoon members have to survive, but apparently that was next to impossible so they changed it.
My first love was the 50-2. Then they nerfed it into unplayable. So, I fell in love with the Hellcat. Then they nerfed it into oblivion. Then I fell in love with the E100 TD. Then they removed it from the game. Then I fell in love with the Tier V ELC Light. I quit before they could do anything terrible to it :P

1st tank I fell in love with was KV-1S with 122mm 😢
The original KV-1S?
always great to watch the lucky people play
My first tier 6 tank and I absolutely loved it and I still do. With it I achieved my kill record of 12.
Actually, it was the only thing I imagined to deal with those KVs which had 152mm guns on Tier 5 at those days :)
Thanks for commenting this one QB!
The Marder used to be the scariest tank in the entire game.
One word; Insane !!!
my first big love in wot was the soviet tier 5 t-34 with its 57mm gun. i had to face tier 9 tanks with the a-20 and thought tier 5 would only get worse, but for some reason, the highest i saw once i got the t-34 were tiee 8 tanks. so i was a tier higher than before and my enemies a tier lower. it felt like heaven. and then the 57mm gun. apcr rounds were still gold excusive rounds at the time, so i had to work with 112 mm of penetration, but that was enough at the time.
i dropped the game in 2018 with only a few phases where i would come back for a month before quitting again. this game has become to much pay2win and the powercreep that is happening is only making things worse, with tanks that have no weakspots and can only be penetrated with gold rounds. but sometimes i do enjoy watching a good game like this one
You see so many of these 14 kill replays now a days, WG should invent a medal for it.
Hellcat for the win. The pre-nerf Hellcat was so much fun.
On my North American server account, which I've had since 2011, my best game ever was in this tank...and it doesn't even hold a candle to this match here by dnt_worry_darling. A great match by a great player in a great tank!
When I bought this game the first tank I got was the lowe which I still have today after 6 years of playing and have 8 crew on each
I loved this tank too and had many battles with it in those team battles, I don't even remember how that game mode was called
My First Tank i truely felt in Love with vk28.01
loved this way back when its still a medium equipped with the high dpm gun hahaha
My first tank I feel in love with was Tiger I (P)
My friend laughed as he played the regular Tiger 1 but I had some damn good games in my Porsche tiger ;)
What a game! Amazing.
dnt_worry_darling, you're a god among mortals
more damage than 80% of the lobby COMBINED. what a beast
I remember my raseiniai heros medels back in the og wot coincidentally with the raseinai bt-7
The first tank that I truly fell In love with was the TKS20 beacuse that was my first ever premium tank
Now that was something
The definition of anxiety in World of Tanks.
Started whatching this video on 977 likes and after the video beeing 1081, well deserved and pls more to come! :)
ag yes, my first tier 6. Really op with the 88. And fun to play
king tiger sucks tho...
First vehicle that I fell in love with? AMX ELC Bis, but then they massacred my boy with the LT MM changes. 😭
Mad respect!
good watch, idky my favorite tank is the chi nu kai, only tank i got a Kolobanovs in
I started up the french line first, ending with a Batchat at tier 10. at tier 9 it used to be the Lor40T, man that tank was crap back then. It made me want a heavy so I played the american line, T110e5 was at one point almost OP. But I fell in love with the T29, did the still do now. It feels good to take an 'old' tank out and pound on some of those shiny new tanks
Another low tier video!!! I lovee it ❤❤❤
Well also that looks like an op tank with that gun able to take away half hp of tank with that reload is insane
My fav tank since beta. love that big gun and it never lets me down. I went so much with that tank that i even ordered scale model from china and paid almost 100 Eur to get it.
fell in love with SU-101 😭
For me the old Obj 263 ;( it was so good and they absolutely butchered it
My first love in WoT was the then-tier 3 Valentine AT with it's Howitser gun.
It was bad but fun then, now, at tier 4 and with the HE-nerfs, it's just bad...no fun at all 😞
the proof that it is not about survival of the fittest, but of the luckiest
Wow unbelievable game
I got the 3601 h when it was a medium and agree with the Konish gun being a slightly better option. However as a casual FTP player who rarely uses "gold" rounds these results are beyond my competencies.
Console player here and I fell in love with the M4a3e8 Sherman.
my hands were sweaty at the end!
enemy team just kept rolling nat 1's lmao
Incredible very good gameplay !!!
@@TehButterflyEffect oh yeah that's right I remember that being the case was a very good game
Dont worry darling x99999999999999 times, after every shot LMAO
My first love was the 50-2. Then they nerfed it into unplayable. So, I fell in love with the Hellcat. Then they nerfed it into oblivion. Then I fell in love with the E100 TD. Then they removed it from the game. Then I fell in love with the Tier V ELC Light. I quit before they could do anything terrible to it :P
my 1st loves was matilda and STUG. good old days
